Review Ferguson Plarre Bakery - Glen Waverley

Just wanted to grab a latte and a snack. Came by and all the chicken pies were sold out about 2pm. Back again for the donut and flourless orange cake. Just too much froth for latte. Iced latte was the usual good. So grab a iced latte - served in the same cup as a hot one. Surprised but tasted really nice. Not diluted at all! Has a slice of French vanilla slice. Very tasty custard but the crust was not flaky enough. But overall ample varieties for snack or a meal if pies are available. Drinks are good too.

The coffee and snacks were good and the service was nice

The service was very slow, I ordered a cappuccino and a raspberry cream lamination I got the coffee but it was cold and I waited over10 minutes for the lamination,the service girl pass by me ignored me and went to clean up tables I asked what about my lamination? She apologised and she said she forgot I told her forget about it.I told her the service is shocking here, and left.

Ferguson Plarre Bake Houses - The Glen Visited on 11/1 2021 The kiosk is at the end of the run of an escalator, and outside Coles. It is in a very strategic location to attract potential customers. What it fails to realise is the big change in the demographics in the City of Monash. Ferguson Plarre in general are behind the trend in decorated cakes, not only in design but also in variety. The work lacks finasse. With The Glen being extended so many folds than before, the number of bakeries and cafes within the shopping centre have increased substantially. Tough competition, including that from Coles supermarket, will definitely make a dent to the bottom line. Serving good coffee alone may not fend off competition..

Absolutely amazing customer service. Took order with smile. Got a take away coffee from them and could not locate a bin nearby. The gentleman working there happily took it off my hand. Very rarely u get such pleasant service at a place. And yes the coffee was also goood😀

I like it’s coffee. Today when I was waiting the coffee, I saw the waiter took the returned desert from an old man and then put it back to the glass cabinet. I am really uncomfortable with this during the COVID-19. The manager deny it at first, but I swear I saw it by my own eyes! Then he said he will talk with the waiter. Please train them the basic standards for serving food.

Ordered a cake and picked it from Glen store, found out that there was a crack on top of the cake, manager recons it mysteriously happened after I took it home. Spoke to the head office who did not care much about this issue. Never ever going to buy cakes from this place again.

Pies, cakes and coffees are excellent. Great pit stop before shopping at Coles.
