Review Black Flat Coffee Brewers - Glen Waverley

Abigail Del Rosario Perez
Best coffee, best bagels, best service. I work locally to Black Flat, and my colleagues and I always find ourselves at here - even if it’s a farther walk than the other cafes from our building. The coffees are always so good, and the staff are so kind. I had a Smoked Salmon bagel with capers and dill schmear for the first time today (pictured), and it was heavenly! Took a while for them to prepare but so worth it. Location is very small but there is limited seating inside, and tables outside. There is also always a line outside during work hours. The coffee must be good! 😍

Had a takeaway coffee and a baby chino. Staff were pretty friendly and polite. Babychino was big for a baby chino and came with a straw and a marshmallow. Coffee was pretty good too although slightly too hot for my liking. Cute hole in the wall place. Great addition to Glen waverley. Would go back. Highly recommended for your coffee fix.
Joy Tan
Great crew. When I can, will come here for their bagels and coffee. Highly recommend.

Instagram: @ediblemelbourne Conveniently located right next to Glen Waverley station, these guys must surely be serving the BEST COFFEE in Glen Waverley. Your local hole-in-the-wall kind of cafe! Think Axil Coffee done right. It's a winner with the locals and it shows. They are small, intimate, rustic and great. Very friendly and young; smiley faces every time when here. The white coffee is very good - love that they don't make piping hot milk but it's just right, ready to drink. A little more attention to black coffee and these guys will definitely have my 5 stars. They do serve some bagels and small bites as well but I'm yet to try them. Will update though once I do. Nothing good coffee can't fix on your way to work :)

Best coffee in Glen Waverley by a long shot (excuse the pun) 😉 Perfect location by the train station and you can tell they really Pride themselves on making good coffee
Sid Sen
A hole in the wall cafe serving the best coffee in the area. I have been going there for more than 5 years. Coffees are consistently good and made with perfection.
Vivek Arya
Best coffee around this side of Glen Waverley, hands down. Service was 5/5 and the bagels were toasted to perfection. Forget fancy cafes, come here for a quiet little coffee and bite.
Daniel William
Absolutely love this place! I often stop in and grab coffee on my morning commute, coffee is perfect every time!
Jess Mithen-Lee
What an understated gem! Fantastic coffee, great service and the bagels are a delish and simple touch. It's clear these guys love what they do because that comes across in every corner of their operation. So glad we came to try this place out. One suggestion would be to add pickles to the pastrami bagel, and lemon curd to the blueberry one. but seriously, I have not a single complaint. Everything was awesome!
Sam Berry
Awesome cold drip coffee and AMAZING staff best coffee in Glen Waverley hands down!
Nathan Larkin
Amazing little hole in the wall right near Glen Waverley Station. Beautiful coffee and lovely staff make stopping there a treat.
David Lee
Amazing coffee. Great space. Delicious bagels. The owners are doing an incredible job with the limited space they have. Will definitely be back.
Simon Lansbury
Hands down, the best coffee in Glen Waverley. Friendly staff, and nice pastries too.
Celeste Hendricks
Thanks for the perfect start to a cold friday morning guys, your coffee's are amazing, love stopping by whenever Im in glenny - and your staff are so friendly, doing a great job with the place
Kerry Wilson
Fabulous coffee and staff. Super quick and friendly.

Hands down my favourite coffee of the 3150.
Chang Roger
Cozy great cafe at winter, friendly Barista!
Jasmine Ng
Great coffee! And just discovered their fabulous bagel 😊!
Drue Vickery
Perfect coffee, friendly service. Best coffee in the south east.
Prasanna Sritharan
Only place in Glenny I can get a batch brew. Enough said.
Glenn James
First person to get served 9am on the 11/10/2015 and I had an amazing to go cappuccino. Great friendly service too.
Sneha Kysho
Great coffee, and speedy service- exactly what you want when grabbing a cup before jumping on the train.
Tim Arnold
Fantastic coffee! Love this place and look forward to the morning coffee there daily. Staff are great
Ng Siak Hoe
Nice small take away coffee. Sitting is available .
Gerard Gomez
Great service, great coffee which wakes you up in the morning not like this dude on the train falling asleep drinking his own brew
Jenny Cao
I do like the iced coffee and the location is very convenient. Staff are nice and friendly and good service. Prices are average, slightly expensive.
Lucy
Such a cute little cafe, the staff are extremely friendly and the coffee is the best you can find in Glen Waverley. Conveniently located at the station. I look forward to my daily brew from them every morning.
Tessa
Managed to nab a table with a friend outside. Coffee here is smooth and milk was nice and creamy. Great location for having a coffee before getting on the train.
Olivia B
Croissant ✔️ Coffee on par with the best in Melbourne ✔️ Perfect spot worth missing the train for ✔️ ... in all seriousness, this coffee spot is ideal and service is prompt. Good luck trying to resist their pastries though!
Gourmet Explorer
The coffee is milky , smooth and a bit sweet taste, no sour taste. It’s not strong enough for my friend. He said it was like milk. Haha, I don’t like too strong coffee.
Karina J
Great coffee. Full bodied and rich flavour. The milk was perfectly frothed. Perfect place for a Melbourne city standard of coffee in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
JW
Great coffee and a small selection of baked goods that truly hit the spot! Prime location right near Glen Waverley station which is optimal for a grab and go situation. A handful of seats are available inside and outside if you prefer the dine in option. Would recommend the bagels, they are fresh and tasty. Great option if you are in the area, be mindful though if you travel to get here, that this is not your conventional dine in cafe - there is more of a casual take away vibe.
Secret Eater
Small beautiful shop just near Glen Waverley station. Friendly staff. What I love the most is the hot chocolate, believe me, try one and u will love it too!

Conveniently located at the junction of the Glen Waverley train and bus stations, Black Flat not only has prime position but also wonderfully meets the need of every coffee drinker who needs their caffeine hit met when it calls. Warm and friendly crew serving up consistently good coffee that always hits the spot. Small setup but well utilised as an uncluttered take-away joint that offers quick service and some cake and bread offerings that are also yummy and popular.

Best coffee in Glen Waverley without a doubt!<br/><br/>Black Flat is located right outside the Glenny station and attracts a large variety of crowd. Their service is swift and wonderful! Really cheerful staff and indeed very good at what they do.<br/><br/>Ordered a flat white this morning and was very happy with my coffee. Was nice and strong and perfectly blended. I really enjoyed the after taste as well! <br/><br/>Will be back for sure :)

The morning had begun long ago for some, yet here he was, staring blankly at the trickling sludge of commuters dribbling towards to the station onwards to the their prison for the day. Yet, the smells of coffee installs a sliver of life in the masses of shambling cadavers, faces lit up by the furiously flickering light mobiles. And it was this that plunged him out of the dreary morning - slate grey, overcast skies, a low moan of a wintry breath - into the welcoming warmth that had been carefully nurtured by its proprietors. A heartfelt smile, a genuine interest in what he wants, and mere moments later, the world was just a tad brighter, with a good cup of Joe and a delectably sweet Portuguese tart. An elixir of life, he thought, sipping the strong brew, feeling the caffeine stirring his very fibre along with the delicious aroma wafting through his senses. <br/><br/>He was now ready to join the commuter’s flood - not as a lifeless corpse, but a Smith. <br/><br/>--<br/><br/>P.S.: The coffee is really strong. The ability to instil life in corpses is not a metaphor, but a truth.
Cynthia Tiong
What else do I need to say except heavy dose of strong coffee. My kind of coffee. <br/>The decor is modern, but limited seating. Recommend it for takeaway coffee as it was just in front the of Glen Waverly station where the bus stops.
Hanley Ong
Great staff and very convenient place to get a takeaway coffee before catching the train. Have been here multiple times and have been impressed with the consistency of how well they make their coffees. Would dare say that they serve better coffees than Axil (the coffee beans they use).<br/>Level of service is above and beyond with the friendly staff they employ. Always nice to have a good chat and the owner Jordan is very approachable. 5/5
Rachel Lai
Best coffee in Glen Waverley without a doubt! Their beans are from Axil Coffee Roasters in Hawthorn but I still think that the staff at Black Flat make better coffee than at Axil itself! 👌
KathBick
Great coffee. Had a latte. Very smooth with no bitter aftertaste. Nice to be able to sit outside under shade umbrellas. Staff very friendly. Right next to station so a good place to pick up a take away or enjoy sitting in. A small selection of pastries available but the main thing of this place is certainly the coffee not the food options.
NatNicLoves
Super friendly staff /service and great coffee. Too bad the coffee is a bit sour to my liking (my tummy doesn't agree with it) but all my coffee snobs friends rave about it and are a regular there. I tried what they had on display (Portuguese tart) and I'm now hooked and in search of Melbourne's best Portuguese tart.
Jessie
This is honestly the best coffee I've had in a longggg time, I drink milk coffee and the blend cut through really well. This is a hidden gem that I highly recommend. Staff are always so lovely and the owner seems really passionate about what she's doing, always bubbly and happy to tell me about the coffee and where it comes from. Love!
Pete
As a coffee connoisseur who has travelled the world, from San Fransisco to the ever surging Japanese coffee culture, I truly appreciate the sultry undertones within well balanced full bodied Axil beans. It was crafted with care by the barista on the day and I also respect the free extra shot in my coffee! Nice to be served great coffee by fellow coffee lovers. Will definitely make a regular visit whilst in Melbourne.

New kids (girls) in town .....<br/><br/>Glen Waverley is continuously thriving to be the food centrum of the South East and more and more of these "hipster" looking establishments being set up there. I can't foresee end of the line Glen Waverley train is this intriguing foodie joint some 30 years ago as teenagers, but I'm enjoying it.<br/><br/>This tiny cafe is a testament to that, occupying a tiny spot at the rear, shaded area of the newest gigantic apartment at the end of Glen Waverley train line. Predominantly black in exterior colour in line with the apartment building, it will take a bit of SAR effort to find it, as you could easily missed it. <br/><br/>Best to take the train, as you get off and walked out of the platform you will be able to see it right in front of you.<br/><br/>It has a generous footpath area, with some outdoor "camp" picnic bench style seating area, pity it was raining this morning.<br/><br/>Their supplied $4.50 Croissants is buttery but just okay, Portuguese tarts and the rest are available too. <br/><br/>Axil coffee beans and La Marzocco seems to be doing a pretty good job in churning those $3.80 Soy Latte and Flat White, which meticulously made by the hipster looking barista.<br/><br/>Thank you and well done girls .......
Foodgrubbie
Convenient location (it's right next to a train station), friendly staff, fast service and good coffee. Not to mention that $3.70 for a small and $4.20 for a large is relatively cheap compared to other stores who either have hiked up prices or compromised quality. Overall it's the perfect place to get your caffeine fix, especially for people who are on the go.
Vana
UPDATE: added 0.5, came back here for a second time with my partner. I had the cold drip instead of a regular coffee and it was great, also this time round the service was FANTASTIC! <br/><br/>Finally tried this place after my coffee snob of a brother had been nagging me to go for about a year or so! My coffee was really nice, almost perfect and the best around Glen Waverley? I definitely think so! Staff were quite nice and seemed genuine. Cute little set up too, great for when you need a caffeine hit on the go!
The Whippeteers
BEST COFFEE IN Glen Waverley.<br/><br/>After scouting out so many coffee shops in the South/East what a pleasure to find our favourite coffee only 5 mins from where we live.<br/><br/>Axil blends. Quick, efficient, friendly (when they've got time as they get crazy busy).<br/><br/>PS if you are a regular they'll probably get to know your order. "Hot latte?" etc..... Maybe your name too.<br/><br/>
Steven Xueyang Lee
No doubt the best coffee in Glen Waverley, service is quick n attentive, very lucky that I can get such a beautiful coffee before go to work everyday
Hilda Lee
Came here on a Sunday morning looking forward to finally trying black flat coffee, after reading all the reviews. Maybe it was the particular barista, or just that it was a busy morning, or even just my personal preference for coffee - but I was quite disappointed. <br/><br/>Coffee was quite average - strong enough but slightly watery, lacked sweetness and nowhere near enough froth for a cappuccino (it was almost a flat white). A long wait in the cold weather simply wasn't worth this coffee. I would've liked to sit inside but it had no space, and the staff were so busy they had no time to greet me or really provide me with much service except take my money, make my coffee and bringing it to my table. <br/><br/>If I were to get a coffee in Glen Waverley, I would probably go to Piatella.
Ruimin
Best coffee in south east suburbs. Axil coffee on espresso, range of quality roasters on filter. Croissants and pastries fresh baked every day
Katherine
This is a nice cozy little cafe. It took my friend and I some time to actually find it. I ordered a cap and it was absolutely amazing. My friend was also satisfied with his hot chocolate. Will definitely come here for another coffee :)
Bel
This chai is great! Not too sweet, doesn't taste like that foul powdered stuff you get most places. It's a good size for a small and the price blew me away! $3.70!! It's right in the centre to public transport, so easy to get to for a warm pick-me-up when waiting in the cold months. The barista was kind and honestly the fastest I've ever seen. Pretty little store too. 100% would come back and recommend.
Pingu
I was there today to pick up my coffee and one of the baristas actually recognised me after I have not been there for a while. The coffee is good and reasonably priced ($3.70 for a soy latte) compared to other cafes around that area. Even though the cafe space is small, the staffs always make you feel welcomed and cosy.
Darius
Prob the best coffee in the area. Offer a variety of different coffee styles- drip, espresso etc. Convenient coffee prepaid cards offered. Boss lady is friendly and loves to share her knowledge about coffee.
ZayC
Part of my morning ritual. Perfectly located close to the train station. Black flat makes consistent excellent coffee. Take-away coffee is really fast which is perfect so you don't miss your train.
Farzana
Sitting here in this gem of a place watching Glen waverley go past and drinking spectacularly good coffee. This is the perfect place to grab a take away coffee before heading to the station, or if you're lucky enough to nab a seat outside or at the bar inside, to relax at. While the size of the place gives it its charm I wouldn't mind a few more seats! Service is excellent - friendly and skilled staff is always a bonus. If only this place were open for longer into the afternoon! Definitely the best coffee in Glen waverley!
DaniB @eatmystreet.net
Excellent coffee at this fetching little cafe near Glen Waverley train station. We nabbed one of the outside tables for a seat in the sunshine. Service was friendly, this place might be the "Cheers" of the GW coffee scene. Nice simple range of food available. We were given a glass of iced water upon arrival, so thoughtful! A very small cafe, but my pick for best coffee in Glen Waverley.
Sinéad Dixon
LOVE! Friendly service, lovely atmosphere, great sarnies and NEVER a bad coffee. Good selection of pastries, a cute selection of art and also a selection of handmade jewellery from time to time.
Ramieleatsshootsandleaves
...If only this place opened during the evenings; there's no better coffee place around after 4pm! <br/>Zest89 used to be the most decent - if not the more bearable - after 5pm cafe, but now it's very inconsistent - I'm guessing there's been management changes? Black Flat also make iced lattes the way I liiike it! :)

Growing up, I knew I was never a morning person. Without fail, I was always the last one out of bed and probably the one that struggles the most to accomplish simple tasks such as brushing teeth and dressing prior to school/ college. With what little time I had to prep myself in the morning, I skipped breakfast. Yep, I was guilty and not ashamed of it. Fast forward, this became a habit that I stick to throughout university and my work life. Not that it affects my performance but perhaps having a source of energy in the morning would have provided me with a much more positive outlook for the day.
Anu
Located right next to station, it's the perfect spot to pick up a coffee in the morning. Definitely the best coffee Glen Waverley has to offer, and the wonderful staff are an added bonus!
JustASlice
Best coffee in Glen Waverley by a long shot (pardon the pun).<br/><br/>Black Flat just goes to show you that great things come in small packages. <br/><br/>Coffee is nice and you're never waiting long for it, which is a marvel because the line is out the door on most mornings! It's location is brilliant, at the entrance to Glen Waverley station, you'd be silly not to time a quick coffee stop here before catching your train into work.<br/><br/>Jordan (owner) is so lovely and friendly and the staff are always welcoming and up for a chat.
One Piece Left
If you want the best food in Glen Waverley, go to Shira Nui. If you want the best coffee, then it's without a doubt Black Flat Coffee Brewers. It really is as simple as that. Glen Waverley has been without a decent coffee place for way too long, and it's great that Black Flat Coffee are here to fill this gap. They opened around a year ago, and I'm slightly annoyed with myself for being a year too late!<br/><br/>We were wandering around looking for some coffee in the area after lunch. I remembered someone telling me about a new-ish coffee joint. A quick Google search and I was here in a flash! First impressions were really positive, it was small and had a warm cosy feel. It had a rustic style decor and the aroma of the coffee beans are really exaggerated due to the small layout. <br/><br/>I ordered a Latte which had a Axil Seasonal Blend of 33% La Folie (Guatemala), 33% Condor (El Salvador) and 33% Ceroalto (Costa Rica). First thing I noticed was the nice layer of froth along with beautiful Latte art. I touched the glass softly and didn't burn my hand, that was a good sign. I probably should have drank the coffee straight away, but I had to snap some quick pics for you guys! After which I took a sip and it was just the perfect temperature. Texture was smooth and creamy with no burnt taste either (as expected when it's served at this temperature). Full credits to Jordan for preparing such a nice cup of coffee, and for also using quality coffee beans. <br/><br/>Speaking of Jordan (owner of Black Flat Coffee), she was wonderful and even went out of her way to have a chat with us. She spoke to us about her background, the business, how the name came to be, etc. This type of human interaction is a great example of how to make a small business shine. In a world full of multi million dollar organisations, it's refreshing to see this type of service from the owner. This is evident in the loyal customers coming in which she addresses them by their names. With this winning formula of great coffee and excellent service, they've definitely earned my following too. Now the big question for me is... how does the pre-paid wall work?!?!
NappyMomma
Probably the best coffee in the area... Never disappoint, consistently good coffee... Friendly staff always greet me & my little one with big smiles. The pastries that they have there are not bad either, try the palmier... Big, the right crisp & chewiness to enjoy with your coffee.
Crispybacon
Don't come here often but when I do the coffee is consistently good and the place always busy (not much room for seating) but ideally located near GW train station so likely to do predominately takeaways anyway. Service is great, friendly and efficient!
Paul Helmers
Coffee by Axil. Very knowledgable staff. One of the great small almost hole in the wall style cafes of Melbourne. Coffee is always quality! Must visit
Elisha Lee
Best coffee in this suburb I would say! I absolutely love their cappuccino. Great ambience, prompt service, a good take away coffee joint overall
TimTamEats
My My.. The coffee and chai latte here are undoubtedly the best in Glen Waverley. I come here quite often, and they never fail to disappoint. The coffee is served at a perfect temperature, and the flavour is very nice. The mini butterfly wings are also very nice, and would come back here definitely! Keep it up guys

Amazing ambience, Amazing coffee & Amazing company! Overall... A+++. And I'm not even exaggerating. :D Highly recommend to all young, old and in between, especially to the coffee lovers out there... ENJOY!
LB
Super friendly staff, good food, great coffee. I've been there a few times now and have never been disappointed. Definitely the go-to coffee joint when passing through Glen Waverley.
Peter Kotaridis
Finally an kick ass coffee shop near the glen. black Flat has perfect coffee, excellent staff/service and easily the best place to get your caffeine fix in Glen Waverley.
Andy Chow
Finally a decent place in glen waverley to get coffee. Although the coffee doesn't have the strongest of flavour compared to my go to coffee joint, still the best in glenny.
KazPaz
Hands down best coffee i've had in the south east, dare I say Melbourne. I've never been to a cafe that's had such consistently good coffee and service, every single time I'm there :)
Stephanie Harris
Coffee is superb, and the cafe has a wonderful friendly intimate feel. Been in several times for coffees and I always always get a friendly hello and happy smiles - almost feels like family! Hands down the best long black you will ever find in Glen Waverley!
Mahmah
Great coffee and super staff. I don't live or work nearby unfortunately, so its not my daily coffee place, but I get there whenever I can.<br/><br/>Food is also good if you're after a pastry or lunch from the simple but yummy menu.
Maria A VD
I have only had coffee at Black Flat Coffee Brewers and i would have to say it's one of the best places around. Lovely staff and quick coffee that tastes great!
Jenny Malloch
This cafe is so handy to the glen waverley train station and main bus stop. Stop off on your way to work or on your way home for a delicious coffee and a bite to eat. You won't be disappointed. Best coffee in glen waverley!
Martin Kelly
Great Coffee, Great Service, Great Food !!!!!! It is perfect to grab a quick coffee or a snack, the sandwiches are great value and really fresh.
Lisa Wang
Nice little stop for coffee, great taste, sells coffee beans of good quality as well, unfortunately they don't have decaf option. Good for take aways.
Edible Melbourne
Coffee is yummy and the guys here are very friendly. But you would think twice going to this cafe especially if it's a cold day in Melbourne because the venue even though small and inviting, has a chaotic atmosphere once you step inside. The limited nibbly options is another minus and also points taken for being overly pricy when it comes to their food products. Otherwise coffee is good and priced well.
The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Grave
Sometimes all you need from life is coffee. And sometimes all you need is a cafe that does just that, churning out consistently good Axil roasted coffee to an early morning crowd waiting for their morning train. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Black Flat. <br/><br/>For an area that was really missing some good coffee, this "hole in the wall" has hopped on the scene. And when I say hole in the wall, it's pretty literal; there's a handful of seats outside and a bar with four seats or so, but this place is made for the "take away" coffee. But even if you fancy taking a bit of time out (or if your train is delayed), you can always grab a coffee in house or perhaps a selection of the ready made pastries on offer. The staff are all eager for a chat and will definitely make you feel welcome. Although due to its size, it's not the most suitable location for a catch up with friends, but a great go-to if you have a few minutes spare to sit down and relax. A welcome addition to the area.
MummyCino
Favourite coffee stop for our family - coffees are always spot on and the little kid loves their babycino. Parent note: babycinos are really generous in size and come in a disposable cup with lid + straw - perfect to contain any potential spillage.
EdSnails
Best coffee in Glen Waverley hands down. <br/>Maybe even Eastern Suburbs? certainly up there. <br/><br/>Lovely little hole-in-the-wall place near the train station. Small inside with a high bar and a few seats. Outside are a couple of picnic tables, great if the sun is out. <br/><br/>There is a pastry cabinet with tasty treats. <br/>And great, great coffee. <br/><br/>I'm here nearly every Sunday for a caffeine fix. <br/>Can't say much more about it really. <br/>The staff are friendly. <br/><br/>:-)
Brod Asakura
Glen Waverley has finally been found worthy of decent coffee. Black Flat delivers a rich velvet brew with a subtle fruity hint. The cabinet food is equally magical. Food is assembled simply and with excellence in both presentation and taste. Black Flat have mastered a rare quality of cafes: consistency. The staff are friendly and now well established as a necessary part of the heart of Glen Waverley. One of the best caffeine stops in the country, rivaling, if not surpassing the source roasters. Beans: axil
Tim Heng
An update to my review which was a year or so ago. Blackflat continues to evolve with different foods. There is no more pulled pork but they do really nice bagels. Pastries are always good. The standout is always the coffee. Consistency and the fact that they remember your name. It's like coming home.<br/><br/>Love a specialty brewer. Great pulled pork burgers. Always appreciate a place where they remember your name. Will be interesting to see how they evolve given the nature of the Glen Waverley dining scene.

Coffee.... Coffee....Coffee & a bit.... #coffee<br/>#quality<br/>#passion<br/>#class<br/>#innercityinthrsuburbs<br/><br/>These guys have it going on, they meet you with an enthusiastic smile and go about producing your cup like it's the only one they will now all day...

Finally, Specialty Coffee in Glen Waverley!. It's been too long, but I'm glad it's happened. Roasted bean in Hawthorn (Axil Roasters Burwood Road) makes my day - sweet, cherry aftertaste, lingering mild bitters and great crema. Lovely. Keep it up guys, good cafe position, and (hopefully) great opening hours. Great pastries, but I'll be coming for the coffee... 8.5/10

Best coffee in glen
Luke Purcell
Walked past a million times. Today was slightly cooler so felt like a "dirty chai". Thank goodness I did. I mean it when I say it was the best one ever. Absolutely loved every sip. Staff were pleasant given it is 6.30 am
Bill Panayotou
Best coffee in the southeastern suburbs!. This is my weekend take-away ritual! There is not one place that makes coffee better than this place in all of chadstone, mt waverley and glen waverley!<br/><br/>The staff are amazing and produce quality coffee every time! I have had at least 60 coffees from this place and not once have I been disappointed!
Gary Grewal
Good coffee. No minimum eftpos credit card
Bella
I went here with a friend and the coffee was amazing. The iced latte was served in a mason jar and absolutely delicious. However if you come to the cafe late you have a limited choice of food, so get in early!
Rebecca Cambrell
Great coffee. Finally found a decent coffee place in Glen Waverley.
Luke James
Love this place. Jordan and the team are awesome. Glen Waverley was crying out for some good coffee, now its got great coffee.
Christine.song
Just the fix you need. Little coffee shop conveniently located on the corner of the train and bus station in between the newsagency, convenient shops, banks and multilevel apartment complex. just what glen waverley needs, is a little quick takeaway coffee place that is able to satisfy my caffeine needs before or after work.<br/>The Portuguese tarts from the noisette display are the incredibly addictive, to compliment with a hamcheese toastie and a hot cheeky dirty chai latte. <br/>The staff are friendly and are always up for a chat. keep up the good work guys!
Legiong
Great little cafe. I tried these guys out today after a friend recommended them and they're awesome!<br/>A couple of very nice guys working there who were happy to talk, the coffee was really nice, and they were using Axil beans. All round it was a great experience, they're just what the area needed.
Mobbo
A well run coffee shop. A really well designed shop that serves delicious, quality coffees and pastries. Well worth the visit if you're in the neighborhood. Also all of their staff are always personable, positive and charismatic. Places like this are rare to find.
Kush Kumar
Best coffee in Glen Waverley. It's about time we got a specialty coffee brewer in Glen Waverley, now there is absolutely no doubt where I'll be going for great tasting coffee. The staff are great and they are conveniently located right next to the station which is handy for when you just need a quick take-away before you catch the train. It's a small joint but they have a few seats and tables to sit and enjoy your coffee in a nice, relaxing atmosphere. Excellent all round - this is my new go to coffee joint in Glen Waverley.
Sarah
I love this coffee joint! I've only been around a couple times but the staff are so friendly and their coffee and skills are great. Located so conveniently to be one of the best places to grab a coffee for the train ride.
Alex-hogan4
Absolute winner. Best iced latte in melbourne! Jason and jordie are absolutely delightful! Recommend to anyone who enjoys good coffee. LOVE
Mitch
Diner from Melbourne. So exciting to have a coffee shop in Glen Waverley! Before realising Black Flat existed I refused to buy coffee from anywhere in the Kingsway strip, everyone serves rubbish! I really do mean that, I didn't buy from anywhere because I expect crap to be served to me, which is a shame but.. :(<br/><br/>Ordered a Piccolo, my first time, didn't feel like a wanker because it was on the menu board. Really really nice coffee, beautiful latte art in such a small drink in a cute cup. Wasn't sure what brand of coffee they used until I sipped at my coffee and the brand name 'appeared' inside the cup. They use Axil, and its delicious!<br/>Was great to see a glass of water put on the table for me without asking (THANKYOU!!!-take notice other coffee shops!)<br/>Cute shop and great coffee, will be back and hopefully they stay open late like the other shops in GW. :)
Meghan
Great coffee and friendly staff! I really love the baked goods :) muffins are always fresh and moist when you eat it. Will be back soon
Brett
Best coffee in Glen Waverley! Friendly staff make great coffee from this tiny caffeine oasis by the station. Coffee has good character, they use beans from a small roaster which helps elevate it above all other coffee in the area.
Craigo
Great coffee & friendly staff. Conveniently located outside the station, this new café will become a regular for my pre-work caffeine hit.
