Review Grilld - Glen Waverley

Great service, efficient workers and high quality results of the food ordered! I ordered a large order and they didn’t get anything wrong, which I thought was impressive. All the food was packed into bags properly, without damaging or spilling any of the food either :) Overall was a great experience with take away food/order. Would definitely recommend Grill’d from here.

Thanks guys, our faith in Grill'd has been restored. We came to you because another branch fairly nearby we used to frequent had gone downhill badly over the course of a year or so. I won't name them. We all enjoyed our burgers and the kids really behaved themselves, which is always a good indication of contentment levels. My wife did complain that the burgers have shrunk noticeably since we first started coming to grill'd but to be fair, we did notice that a while back before we came to you. Just a couple of points FYI if you're looking for ways to improve: The phone app you use to order from the table is rubbish. I made two attempts to order with it and it locked me into a screen that I need to get out of to complete. When I tried to move back it dropped the order. I did that twice on two, four person orders and then gave up in disgust and came up to the order desk. The other thing I noticed. That stick with the red and white ends you are supposed to use to check if the table has been checked by a waiter for satisfied customers was left untouched. I noticed the same thing at the other branch I mentioned on prior visits. If it's not important you should take it away. If it is important and I were mystery shopper checking to see if you were following franchise standards, I guess I would have marked you down on that. Thankfully, we were satisfied and came away feeling well fed and happy. Thanks.

Horrible service!!!!! There should be a zero star option, don't even deserve one star. Waited one hour for just one burger takeaway. The order has been sitting there for half hour, the staff claimed to have called our name few times, no one answered and they just left the bag sitting there. There are only 3 tables occupied (besides us) and there there so many servers. Not to mentioned that the music was blasting away. Surely they noticed us sitting there waiting, yet no one bothered to check. And the one who took our order should have checked. No apologies whatsoever. They bothered to redo the order, waited another 20mins and it is still cold. Horrible service considering there are no short of staff and not busy

Every single time I come here I can never complain. The food is always absolutely outstanding always fresh and amazing ingredients used. It is one of my favourite places to eat.

Grilld is one of the best places to go for a good Burger. Healthier than any fat food Burger place, although more expensive than usual burgers.

We just had the experience of the life time here! They asked us to leave with our food because they are under staff and can't bother cleaning the table after us. I'm still trying to digest this! :))

Customer service is about options. Tell us what you can do, not what you cant. Train ur staff to be positive and be welcoming. We came in so excited to dine in to our favourite restaurant, but this place was different from the other Grill’d restaurants we’ve visited. I understand the pandemic rules, and I get that without vaccination certificate, you wont be able to cater us. I totally get that, but at least be human, take time to think of options and show your customers how you can help. That’s why you are there, not to rush your customers to go away. We were travelling and of all the restaurants along the way, we went out our way to find Grill’d, as we love your burgers! Been loyal, and whenever we have visitors from overseas, or we have friends over, we always bring them to your restaurant! The GPS took us to this Grill’d Glen Waverley restaurant. my wife and I with our 10 year old daughter came in, and very excited to place our orders. The staff then asked us to show the vaccination certificate. I showed mine (mobile). Now, we just remembered, only when we were there that my wife’s phone’s dead and wasnt able to show her certificate. The staff’s first reaction was, sorry we cant help you. Remember, I HAVE MY CERTIFICATE and was hoping that you’d show us your customer service skills. The mentality of “no we cant help you” was in that room. Why not offer options? If that was me, I’d ask what phone do you have, we can charge it for a minute or two, just to be able to show your certificate. Or, offer hey I can only order for take away. I had to tell your staff, cant you do take away order instead? I have my certificate anyway. Eventually was able to order take away and my wife and daughter had to sit outside their restaurant, waiting, feeling not valued at all! Its not that hard to show initiative, and CUSTOMER SERVICE and be human. I think you just need to learn that word, no matter how good your food is, if you don’t have the customer service skills, you will push loyal customers away.

I ordered the Beyond original Burger and the mighty melbourne burger during their promotion where you purchase one burger and get the mighty melbourne for free.

I want to give a huge thanks for the Manager there, because it turned out for some reason the mighty melbourne wasnt in my order, I explained what happened and he told me it was okay and would make it for me. Really appreciated how nice he was and the team too.

Both burgers are exactly how I liked them to be, flavourful and delicious. Highly recommend the mighty Melbourne, I definitely will be back!
The delivery order took an hour, the chips weren't crunchy and the presentation was very rushed because they were really busy but the burgers were tasty as usual - juicy meat and fresh ingredients.

Cozy venue with a good selection of burgers. It was bit of a wait but worth it! Burgers were delicious and the meat patty tender and juicy! Fries were crunchy and chunky. Quite generous servings, we were definitely full after this meal!
Besides the slow service, everything else was really good!

Always loved the burgers at grill'd, but the experience is just that much better when there's great customer service.

The Glen Waverley branch have really set the bar high for quality of service. I had made an online order and the waiters greeted me with big smiles and were very hospitable; offering me a seat, checking on the wait time and providing me with water.

They leave you feeling satisfied before you've even had a bite of your food!

Had the wagyu beef patty wiz low carbs buns. Chips and a juice. To be honest couldn’t taste the difference if the beef. And the chips were too salty......

A very welcome instalment into the already bustling Kingsway community after previous failed businesses on that lot. Was quite busy while we were there, mainly catering for hungry teenagers and students making for a lively atmosphere.

I ordered the Crispy Bacon and Cheese burger which was hastily constructed to my delight. The burger itself was delicious - however the bottom bun was quite soggy and did not support the rest of the burger.

Sweet potato chips with the chipotle mayo was a standout. Delicious and cooked to perfection - packed full of tasty seasoning and flavour while remaining a crisp crunch.

Overall, almost perfect.

New on the Kingsway strip and bustling which is great to see since the burger competition in the hood is pretty fierce. Had the Simply Grill’d and it was fresh, juicy with minimal drip which was good. For $10.50, it’s great value for money especially when you can swap out the normal mayo for truffled mayo at no extra cost. Chips were done well too - crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. Very friendly service and love the white/red stick sign concept on check-ins by front of house.

Love me some healthy competition - especially when it comes to the burger variety! We had the Simon says & crispy bacon cheese (how perfect do these burgers look & they tasted great too!) and I have to say that I think that there is room for both burger venues on Kings way as they both offer very different fare (no brioche buns here)!

Came here tonight for dinner, great to see this place is packed and thriving on a Friday night, decided to grab the new vegan burger which was delicious and was a perfect imitation of a cheeseburger. Only thing is I got a regular sweet potato chips which only came with 6 or 7 chips it wasn’t much at all.

Chill vibes and friendly service.

Ordered the sliders which came with a crispy bun, tender meat and was flavoursome. The south east pork was average. Lots of veggies but kind of plain. The option for the pita bread was kind of disappointing. The bread went soggy quick making it difficult to eat.

Food Rating: 😀 4/5
Atmosphere Rating: 4/5
Service Rating: 👏 4/5
A good burger place on Kingsway, but not yet my go-to place.

A fairly well known name serving up good burgers despite the tight burger scene on Kingsway.
I ordered the Simply Grill’d and the burger was juicy and delicious this time around. The first visit had burnt buns and charred patties, but this time they were great.
The chips were crispy and quite generous in their portions.
Service was quick and very friendly; and the atmosphere was vibrant. However, there are other great burger joints a few metres away, so it’s yet to be my favourite place.

Never going here again.

The burgers were small (I got the mighty Melbourne) and the chips were too (we got the 3 in 1). We had to go get desert after as we were far from full.

Service was also unusual. They have this stick system where if one colour is up they'll come help you. It was awkward.

Relatively newly opened place.
Staff were friendly and despite it being a little busy, burgers came out reasonably quick.
I had the Mighty Melbourne and chips which was very nice.
Will definitely return and try another burger.
