Anyone coming for yum cha can go somewhere else - Secret Kitchen has permanently closed here while the new Hainan Chicken restaurant is seriously understaffed and keeping the SK sign as is. We waited 40mins for nothing served.

The quality of the produce was superb. Prawns perfectly cleaned, Chinese greens fresh, beef expertly broiled.
The service is also five gold stars. Two refined gentlemen (from Hong Kong) attend promptly to the slightest raise of your hand with friendly promptness. I am used to leaping up from my seat to pay at the counter at the end of a meal - but not here, the bill arrived at the table and was settled without me even needing to get up. Ah! Perfect.

Well worth the wait, went for yum cha with the family and enjoyed every minute quick and easy service once seated and although very busy didn't feel like you were being rushed I have had alot of Asian food from various places in Glen Waverley and this would be one of my top picks and will definitely go again, also how delicous and cute were the custard buns?

We have been to this restaurant last week for the 1st time for a birthday celebration. They amazed us for their staff's politeness and diligence, their yummy and generous portion food (eg fresh and sweet lobster, fish, pork, beef, vegetarian dishes, we name a few) with reasonable prices. Thank you Secrect Kitchen. We will come again and recommend you to others 👍👍👍
