Review Huxtaburger - Glen Waverley

I had a tasty Sondra burger here on their second day of operations. At first glance it looked like a rather plain burger, iceberg lettuce and tomato obvious. But, there were a perfectly correct number of embellishments, so it was a tasty meal. This vegetarian burger pattie is cooked crispy on the outside. I can’t stress enough how important this is! My burger, to eat in, still got presented in a giant paper bag. I took it home to recycle.

Ordered for dinner tonight. Burgers arrived hot which is awesome as other burger deliveries tend to come cold. However, the quality of the burgers was less than average. The patties taste like store bought frozen beef. Hard and not at all juicy. Burger buns were greasy as and overall not much flavour. Will not be going to huxtaburger again.

The staff were very polite and helpful, no complaints at all about the staff. My burger was somewhat small, disappointing for the extremely high price tag. Part of the chicken meat was not breast fillets so the texture was totally different. I regret paying so much for a fairly mediocre burger.

Friggin great burgers and chips, really friendly staff. I came up at 11am and wasn't sure if I wanted a brekkie, beef or chicken burger and one of their staff walked me through their menu and most popular choices. She waited patiently while I spent an inordinate amount of time picking, before settling on the Dillon. The burger was so effing tasty. The smoked paprika sauce had a great kick to it, the patty was great, the bun was soft and buttery - exactly what you'd expect from a great burger. The chipotle chips were great and went well with the burger, too. 10/10 great experience, and keen to go back again!

I've been to this place 3 times and each time it's been bad food. The burgers are always too oily and the only taste comes from a tiny splatter of sauce on each of the chicken and beef burgers. The only part I enjoyed was the customer service which has been great each time.

They make the best (only?) burger in the Glen, and if you're there and you're craving a burger, definitely hit this place up. But if you're a lover of food, there a place right next door that makes epic hand made noodles, so... You've got to ask yourself why you'd choose a regular burger over that.

My second experience, 17.6.18. The burger was much better but still not as good as Eastland Huxta burger. I will raise my star from 3 to 4. The 2 dollar coffees are good. 5 dollars for a large coke no refill is a bit rich. An improvement non the less. Not well presented and extremely cheesy. Not enough suace. I went to Huxta burger in Eastland and was extremely impressed. Could not wait to try this new store in the Glen but was let down. Was it expectation? Honestly I don't know. Have I had to many burgers? Maybe. Honestly it was a let down.

Paid $19.50 for a burger and very salty onion rings, which were ok, not great. But $1 for some ketchup considering the prices charged is really not good value. I totally get the charge for dipper sauces, but not ketchup. I think that you should really re-think this. Also the staff seemed so, not interested. I guess they hear customers complain about this often.

1.5 <br/>I was truthfully disappointed with the taste of the burger I ordered. I tried the breakfast burger, it was very flavourless, no sauce, just a hash brown and some veggies. <br/><br/>I tried some of the sides, the onion rings and potato totes were alright. But the amount was so little, in particular the onion rings, and its batter was falling off. Fries were okay as well, no seasoning.

Good service but food was below average and tasteless. Burger fell apart and impossible to eat without the contents all over hands and face.

We ordered via UberEats. Our order was wrong, with items missing, items we didn’t order and ingredients not removed (although labeled on the burger box they were). The chips were undercooked and soggy. The burger bun was literally oozing oil, so much so I had to soak it up with paper toweling. The patty was gristly and horrible. For $20 I’d be expecting so much more, it was horrible.

For a place with the word "go" in it, it sure took a long time (almost 20 minutes) for my Rachel burger to be prepared. There was no explanation and no apology. <br/>The burger itself was mediocre. The only redeeming feature of the meal was the chips. For $20, this was truly one of the most disappointing meals I've had in a long time. <br/>

Grabbed burger from here when I was really hungary! I guess everything tastes great at that stage LOL. pattie was juicy, and cooked just right, chips were nice too. Overall, their food is OK for a quick bite. will visit again

Ordered on UberEats and specifically put in an instruction to omit one ingredient in my burger, it was very disappointing when this was not taken into consideration when making the burger. This is not something that can be removed after it's cooked. This rendered the burger very difficult to ingest as I had to hold my breathe while eating to limit my taste bud senses to avoid tasting the ingredient.

Had the cheesus burger and chips. Really good burger, very juicy and tender pattie, very well seasoned. A little bit oily, but it tasted so good and in some ways thats how a burger should be. Will definitely try more burgers from here

I got the Britney burger (fried chicken). The chicken was tender and juicy, bacon was cooked just right; not too crispy.<br/>I could actually taste the freshness of the avocado, tomato and lettuce.<br/>The bun was sweet and oily (classic burger style), but the top half of my bun was cold.... from the salad, I guess?<br/>Every bite of my burger tasted different. Sometimes it tasted pretty boring, sometimes if was simply an amazing burger.<br/><br/>I also got the hash bites. Delicious! Crunchy on the outside and super soft inside!<br/>I found the smoked paprika mayo nice, but a little boring after a few dips.
