Came here with the Missus, politely greeted by the owner Jack, unexpected but excellent table service from Mark, and absolutely phenomenal food served up by the team. Missus had the S INK and she is super fussy with Calamari, I've never seen the girl devour food so quick! She wants to come back for her Birthday 🎂 I had the Road Runner and let's say I came running back for seconds. Thanks Team Burganomix

Great place, I really enjoyed the western burger. Chips were inconsistent, crispy one day and soft the other. The owner came up and had a chat. It was so nice. Support local.

Food here was amazing. The workers here are incredible and super nice and caring to the customers will definitely be coming back here.

Loved the food here and reasonably priced too. The owner was very courteous and made a special treat for my niece. Definitely will come back here for the food.

Great chips. Pork burger was very good, with great presentation. Nomix beef burger with buggsy presentation was equally impressive. Eclectic ambience finished off the dinning experience.

Spectacular burgers!!! And onion rings to die for!!! We came here twice in one week. First was a date night on a Saturday. Second was a family dinner on a Sunday night. Both times it was great!!! Busy enough for a nice atmosphere, but still easy it get a table. The prices are very affordable (probably they should charge more given top location) and the staff were very tentative and friendly. Thanks for the happy holiday memories Burganomix!!! Seriously some of the best burgers I’ve ever had!

Such a good burger spot! The staff are really warm and friendly. Always provide quick service. Food is always hot and fresh. I also love that the servers are always happy to recommend stuff if you’re indecisive like me! This has become one of my fortnightly dinner spots this summer and it’s easy to see why.

I visited on Friday night and had the best gluten free burger I have ever had! The Mosley burger on a gluten free bun sooo much love! The service was brilliant and I wanted less than 10 minutes for food! Thank you for making me feel being coeliac is better! Honestly one of the best places for gluten free and will definitely be back! Thank you

We had very little time for dinner, with 3 tired kids in tow. The service was terrific with the kids food coming out quickly. The waitress was lovely and made a fuss over the kids, which they loved. My wife and I took turns eating as the 6mo needed a cuddle to keep him from screaming the place down. 30secs on my lap and he pulled my burger into my lap. Over comes the owner and helps out, then made the generous offer of bringing out a fresh burger. The night ended with the kids receiving m&ms and even a cuddle from the waitress. Amazing acknowledgement of a family in a hurry, but wanting a nice time out. Hats off to you guys, the service will see us back again!

Has got to be seriously one of the best places to eat, catch up or even grab one of there super cocktails. The staff are absolutely wonderful and the owner makes sure that the food is as elegant as the atmosphere. Def somewhere I'd recommend and will almost definitely look forward to revisiting.

I had a hamburger for lunch and another for dinner, simply wow. Not only amazing food, but the decor is to die for. Loved the ambience, customer service and most of all the food. Wow.

Can't recommend these guys enough. After normally ordering through UberEats we decided to head down and check it out as a group. We had one friend who is vegan and as this was our first time visiting he wanted to grab a burger from the local vegan joint and we said we would get takeaway and meet up outside. To start with, the team couldn't have been friendlier on our arrival. Great start. We then ordered and while waiting for out order our friend showed up with his burger from a rival joint. We thought it would be ok for him to just come in and sit and wait with us but that wasn't enough apparently. Without even knowing our friend had got food from somewhere else, solely to fit his diet preferences an eagle eyed Manager (owner?) called out to our friend, told him to bring his RIVAL BURGER in and eat it with us and changed our order from takeaway to eat in and got us some drinks!!! It was such a pleasure to see this - we felt the need to explain the only reason he went elsewhere was cause he was vegan and then the manager said no worries and told us all about their vegan options for the future. The food (as always) was solid, best onion rings going around and will be a definite return customer going forward. Solid stuff guys!

Great people, great concept and great burgers ! I dare anyone to find a better burger experience in Adelaide !
Yvette Maunder
The food was excellent. The guy that served us was fantastic but the girl that brought out our food was not good at all, she didn't say anything just put our food randomly on the table.
Laura Pike
Best burgers in town (Porky P is my fave) and the sweet potato fries are the best. Friendly service!!
Kerrilee Lock
Best burger I've had, with lovely atmosphere and staff. We'll be back!
Bethany Prosser
Super impressed with the service the staff provided. Friendly and efficient. We ate there pretty late and weren't made to feel like we were inconveniencing them at all, although it was almost closing time. Will be recommending them to family and friends for sure ďż˝ The food was delicious and they have great menu. Thanks to Jack and his team for a great experience.
Jenny Koprivcic
Great food very friendly staff great service they have heaters outside which we kept warm and they also supply blankets first time there and we will be back

A very cold evening in Adelaide calls for great comfort food, served in a warm and engaging environment.
Burganomix provides all of that.
I loved that I could order a burger without a bun - I chose a vegetarian option, The Magoo, and asked for it served in lettuce leaves - and it was delicious. The Cheesey Cauliflower was a perfect accompaniment. Add a bottle of red wine and the evening didn’t seem so cold after all.
Around the room is a varied collection of retro objects, signs, homewares and even an old parking meter. Eclectic and nostalgic!
I highly recommend Burganomix if you haven’t already tried it 💜

Good burgers. Cute venue. Great location.

I would have rated Burganomix higher if it weren't for the chaotic service. We witnessed 1 x staff member take orders, wait tables, and fix up payments. She was most pleasant, but totally under the pump. Her and a chef appeared to be the only workers on-site. Our meals were on the cold side by the time they hit the table. In a popular spot during school holidays, you'd think they would be better prepared.

Great place with great location. Burgers are delicious and the staff are extremely friendly. Always a great place to have lunch or dinner and then go for a walk on the glenelg jetty.
Georgia M
The burgers here and great and I've tried many burger places. The meat is juicy and delicious! I go here all the time! And the staff are lovely.
Junior Tupufia
Nice appealing place, stopped in for dinner and had the grecco vege burger and was a very tasty burger! Good service. Would definitely recommend and visit again for more food.
AHUI
Friendly quick service.

Ordered a Grecco Buggsy Burger
Larger juicy portobello mushroom with haloumi and other accompaniments, served with thick swirled chips.
Absolutely delicious! I highly recommended!

Came in on a beautiful sunny weekday. Place wasn't busy which was a plus. Ordered the Tex Mex and Iced Mocha. Nothing to rave about. Too much sauce going on for me, got a bit messy. Price point a bit high for what you get. It's ok.
Liz Vrantsis
I would have to say the service, food was very good. More then good actually. The burger was so tasty. I definitely recommend this place. The only downfall is it’s a little pricey.
Lindalimebitters
Came here after a chill day at the beach. Ordered the Nomix Burger which was perfect, the beef patty was juicy and succulent. The pineapple and beet was nice and sweet. The chips were hot, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Mojito was a bit watered down, couldn't ready taste the rum. Overall it was good and I would come back.

A staple visit when in Glenelg. Am a big eater if you know me, but was positively starvin Marvin after a long day and flight in from WA. Went for a double up order and forewent any sides this time- The Kung Fu Chook on brioche and The Beginning also on brioche. No issues with any face-slappers or greys anatomy overcooked patties on the Beginning here, just really good quality burgers, cooked with love. Who bloody thinks of putting a fried egg on a chicken burger? These guys. Bloody genius it is. Also love the fact they send you home with a few potato wedge thingies in the takeaway box, and the need for sides is not necessary should you wish to be a fatty-boombah like me and just chow down on some good burger related nosh.
MrCreosote
Pretty good burgers, good range of beers, service was friendly and attentive. To be honest, we were just in need of a feed and a couple of beers without too much fuss, and this place delivered! Would definitely go back, it is pretty casual & relaxed.
Ishita Sinha Trikha
Amazingly delicious burgers..extremely filling and tasty..courteous and friendly staff with both indoor and outdoor seating available so you could enjoy the view of the beach !Must visit especially for the burgers!! ❤️❤️

This place makes really good milkshakes. The fries were hot, crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside - brilliant. The burger was a bit disappointing - the pattie was bland and i didn't love the tomato sauce.
Tom Hill
Had the Nomix burger with a gluten free bun, must say it was delicious ! Best gluten free I have had in a burger restaurant, really good burger..
Laura
Deserves way more than a 3.3! I had the chicken BLT and my boyfriend had the beginning - both amazing. Price is reasonable. The onion rings are an absolute must!
Tam
Best burgers I have had anywhere, i am now addicted to this place. All the sides are also really good. Awesome setting and decor great for special dinner out or just takeaway.

I dropped by this place yesterday afternoon with my friends for lunch. Since we were keen on eating burgers we decided to give this place a try.

Upon looking at their menu, it has a vast range of burgers. It took me a while to get my head around it and decide what to order, haha. I finally decided on getting a musty burger(pork burger) and got a caramel thickshake. Also we ordered the large fries to share between us.

My burger tasted delicious. Succulent shredded pork as well as tasty and fresh coleslaw salad inside the burger. Fries were crispy and crunchy. So it was very good. Also loved the caramel thickshake, it came in this fancy steel cup which I loved seeing. I was very satisfied with my burger and drink. Also my friends were happy with their burgers as well.

Staff were attentive and friendly. Also really good seating arrangement in the restaurant and I loved the relaxed atmosphere in there on a Monday afternoon. Only a minor complaint, but I'd recommend probably having a small menu for burgers. It's just too big.

I paid $22.50 in total which I think was reasonable. Given I'm from WA, I found this cheap compared to overpriced burgers we have in WA, haha. So a lovely great burger joint with friendly staff and good burgers. I'll definitely come back here again when I'm in SA and try something different next time around. Until then, ciao!

Poppie
Poppie popped into burganomix whilst at Glenelg for a bite. The chips and onion ring servings are too small for the price you pay. Poppie ordered the double decker burger. It was ok, it hit the spot because poppie had been drinking previously. However looking back on the burger itself, it was quite unremarkable. Nothing stood out, infact the patties were dull and leaning more towards the fish and chip shop burger patties rather than a dedicated burger bar ground mince chuck Patty. Poppie won't be back, but it does hit the spot when you've been drinking and are hungry. Worth an eat
Kiley Li
The sweet potato fries we had were a bit over cooked but overall, the place is great. Love the Donald Duck playing on the TV and also the great idea of reusing whisky bottles as water bottles 😂👌.

It's right said, more than food the experience matters. If.you have good ambience, vibe and right staff your food and time at a place will be brilliant. This is what this place offers you, just at the Glenelg Beach Burganomix is a perfect place to hangout, have food and spend some time with your dear ones. The burgers are fantastic, with brilliant service. Thursday they have special deals. This is the best place I have ever visited in Glenelg. For a more brilliant time meet the owner Jack. Overall, must visit!
Prue
Nice looking place, burgers were a good size, tasty and came with delicious crispy potato swirls. Chips were good too. We tried another burger place on jetty road the following day and was disappointed - burganomics was much better!
Saritha Dobler
Unfortunately forgot to take a picture of my meal. But I had a beef burger with fries and it was awesome. The staff was also very nice. The prices are more than reasonable as well. Highly recommend!!
Mashedpotato
Burger was ok, as you can tell by the photo, you don't get excited when this is delivered to you. Cheap chocolate syrup milkshakes were disappointing.
Kitt Davidson
Considering the location, and how many good cafes and restaurants are in the area, this place struggles to justify its existence. Overpriced food, fairly average burgers.
Adventures Around Adelaide
Excellent Service by Nick felt the warm welcome especially after he put another log on the fire. The Burgers are very tasty and filling not like the big juicy patty we are used to but im not complaining im definitely satisfied! The brioche bun was perfect i think the swiss had a bit too much onion and mushroom it was overshadowing the meat patty. But im going to give them a second review once we work our way through jetty road ✌
Not worth the price, very much an overrated establishment. The owner was also very rude to his staff. Couldn't believe the type of behaviour on display.
We visited here on a rainy cold Sunday! As we walk in we are welcomed straight away with our choice of table. We sit by the window and watch the rain. As we look at the menu, trying to decide we have a couple waiters come up to us and ask if we were ready to order, both times declined as we were chatting, we order the double decker, on a brioche bun, instead of red onion we asked if we could Substitute for caramelised onion instead. We also ordered a large chips and some beers. Our drinks come out quickly imported beers from Italy! Very nice! Then our chips, the chips were pretty average, standard like you would get in a pub with some tomato sauce on the side. The burgers came out bout 5 minutes after which was good. The burger was very nice and it made it better with the caramelised onion. The burger was cooked med well, nice balanced. Burger alone 9/10. The place itself was nicely decorated in old style, chairs and tables were picked from second hand shops which was really nice touch. The passage way to the toilets was really cluttered with stock, a bit off putting, and they could use a clean.

Have been meeting few friends here lately. Love the Nomix and Tex-mex burgers, beer list and the sides - sidewinder chips and onion rings are worth writing home about! Friendly staff with table service. The Burgers are served in a high sided cardboard plate which can make them look small, but I have never left there hungry.

Great to go to Glenelg for a lazy Sunday afternoon lunch.
I ordered the Lot (a steak burger) and my friends ordered a Nomix (beef burger) and the Fog Horn (chicken burger). We also ordered a small onion rings and a small sweet potato fries.
The onion rings and sweet potato fries arrived first and boy was I glad we ordered the small - they were generous portions - and they both tasted great.
Our burgers arrived next and they were all quite good - comparable to Grill'd.
My steak fillet could have been more flavourful for the price we were paying for the burgers, but overall it was quite a satisfying meal.

I travel around different parts of Australia often and I have to say this is one of the best most relaxed restaurants I've ever been to.

I ate here every night of the 4 nights I stayed here. The last night I even sat on my laptop working for 4 hours with table service. Extremely friendly staff that know what they're doing. The burners were great and the chips were something that you'd go for by themselves!

The owner is a champ and they've got a fan in me after the week I spent in Glenelg for work.

5 Stars Burganomix.

Cal (The Afternoon Delights were great, even with the strawberry addition haha)

Couldn't have been happier with our visit to Burganomix.

Nothing better on a seedy Sunday than a juicy burger and burganomix really hits the spot

Great service

Great atmosphere

About the only thing this place has going for it is the beautiful location. The staff seemed nice, but they were also on edge thanks to the constant temper tantrums from the owner/manager. His perpetual barking at the staff, followed by nauseating flattery of customers, paints a pretty clear picture of his character.

The food is nothing special, there are better burgers in Adelaide, such as Enuf or Burgastronomy.
Joey_77
Reading the reviews on here there is not a lot of love for this place. The burgers we had were quite tasty and there is a great selection. However they are a little overpriced I'd say and a tad small. In saying that we didn't walk out disappointed.
Funky retro style cafe and service was ok without being anything to rave about. Had a coffee at the end which was also of decent quality.
Spoke to the owner at the end of the meal ..was pleasant and friendly
Foodie Gal
Very average burger, my alladin falafel burger was super dry. Opened the burger and only saw a smidge of sauce and the other side of the bun was dry. Not even buttered. Had to add tomato sauce to it!

Recently back in Glenelg after. Long hiatus and decided to try this place out.
My partner got the beef burger with mushrooms. I have to say, it was nothing special. It's not nothing in Nordburger or Burgastronomy. I think I've made better beef patties before.
I got the grilled chicken burger which was not bad, but nothing to rave about, average.
The worst part about the meal was the OWNER/MANAGER. Yelling at staff, very awkwardly scolding a young staff member in front of other staff (and public) and just barking orders constantly in the kitchen. Really ruined whatever vibe there was left.
Most likely wouldn't go back there unless I had no other options, which in Glenelg is unlikely.
The spiralled potato chips that came with our burger were A+, which is the only thing that saved them some points from me.

Worst burger place in Adelaide. Started with terrrible service. It never occurred to any waiter to wipe down our table even though it had sticky chocolatey stuff all over it. Then we waited ages for our food, the onion rings showed up with a tub of mayonnaise that was solid with a gelatinous layer on the top. Long after we'd finished those our burgers finally showed up. I was expecting a felafel patty on my veggie burger which is what the menu said, but instead I got 3.5 felafel balls (nice felafel, but dry as not enough sauce) which were hard to keep in. My husbands beef burger was just ordinary and all that with a latte came to $47. Can't see it lasting.

Your portion sizes are shameful, your prices exceedingly inflated and your quality lacks anything to proud of! However, your name is kinda cool...
TPD
We like the chips, the place and some of the burgers. We thought that they could add more spices to the supposedly "spicy" one. We went a couple of times on a voucher and were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and nice atmosphere. We enjoyed being able to order a wine with the burger, even on a scoopon.
Carmel
Terrible service! Came in for dinner last night and waited 45mins for our food and after such a long wait, they still forgot part of our order. Burgers pretty average but must say, onion rings were good.

Step up your game guys, you have the potential to be great!
Lou
The burgers are small sized and don't have a lot of flavour. Very little sauce, so it tasted quite dry. The few chips that come with the burger are great though
C3patient
Best sweet potato chips ever, the onion rings are pretty good too. Fast and friendly service. Burgers were fresh and filled with quality produce. Great place to eat at the bay
Gastronomist
was expecting a lot more for what I paid. The burgers looked like they were packed with ingredients but lacked that good juicy flavour other places have to offer.
Also be careful about ordering chips, you actually get some with every burger but the waiter made it seemed like you didn't and asked if I wanted to order some so I ended up getting 2 lots..

Dinner Saturday 9-07-2016

This place is well situated on the strip overlooking the tram stop, and pier of Glenelg. We walked around the numerous places to eat in Glenelg on a cool winters night and this place was busy, so we thought if the locals like it must be good.

The dining room was busy and full of life and a little noisy for us on this night as we wanted to discuss the day’s events, so we seated on one of the tables outside. The tables are a trendy example of a rough sawn timber which looks good, but was a bit of a worry for my glass of wine. The chairs are a collection of the eclectic retro, which is great as it gives this place style and personality.

Yes it was a more than 30 minute waiting for our meal, but as we were talking the time went. I would feel sorry for the families with hungry younger team members as they do not sit well in restaurants and do not wait quietly for the arrivals of their food.

The burgers came out they were freshly cooked with fresh ingredients, and this is why this place is pumping. Burgers are not hard to do, don’t over complicate it, keep it fresh, serve it hot and don’t overcook the protein (chicken, beef patty, etc)

If I was going back to Glenelg I would be having one of these burgers. Thank you.
Aidynoconnor
Classic example of a wasted opportunity due to poor decisions from the owner/management. A series of outbursts and poor treatment towards staff from the owner (not to mention issues with unpaid wages) has caused almost half the staff the leave in recent months. Would be surprised if it's still in business by the end of the year.
Imjustagirl
One word. Disappointing.
- unfortunately nothing special going on here besides the decor! The waitress got our order wrong twice & one item we never received. The burgers were bland & the melted cheese was closer to plastic than cheese!
Feed Me, Adelaide
Burganomix is the latest addition to the burger bar scene in Adelaide, and another to situate themselves in Glenelg. It has some prime real estate too, being right at the start of Moseley Square, just off Jetty Road. We were invited by Adelaide Food Central to come and sample their wares, so all food and beverages were free of charge. As always, this has no influence on our review in any way.

Over priced, no substance, bad atmosphere and no flavour. Would rather go to Mc Donald's, I bet that the patties are better quality. Please save money and never come here or recommend it to anyone, whether you know them or not.
John Smith
Just ate here and I have to say... pretty terrible. The beef patty was probably bought in the frozen aisle of the grocery store and the burger came with 6 chips (I counted). I read some other reviews and I have to agree that the atmosphere is shit and the food is shit. It just wasn't right. I can't wrap my head around how restaurant owners rip off customers and wonder why their business is making almost 0 profit. My advice: learn to cook with fresh ingredients, try to make your restaurant more classy, give people good side dishes, have a clean store and please just try to make the experience enjoyable. I hope this helps.
Adventures In Winterland
Adelaide is definitely going through a burger phase, and personally, I hope it’s here to stay. The latest addition to the burger scene is Burganomix, offering classic, fresh burgers the way I remember them from my childhood. I ordered the Nomix ($16), basically the burger with the lot – patty, mayo, beetroot, fried egg, tomato, lettuce, pineapple, pancetta, onion, pickles (seriously, as if the beetroot and pineapple wasn’t enough of my favourite things on burgers) and chutney. Phew. Served on a cradboard tray with a small handful of fries, the burger was huge – both hands required! This is what burgers used to be like, packed full of
Hollie Moran
Really great service and good food too. Open late and very friendly and welcoming, had a nice falafel burger, second time added beetroot and avo for only $2 and it was not as dry, probably one of the better burgers I've ever had. All burgers come with a small side of side winders (delicious thick curly chips) and the sweet potato chips are a must try. Super great little place, only going to get better as time goes on. Can't fault it (apart from the misspelling of Moseley on the menu!)
The Adelaidian
Last night, The Adelaidian had the opportunity to sample some of the delicious burgers at newly launched Burganomix on Moseley Square down in Glenelg. There is no doubt Adelaide adores its burgers, and the newest addition to our ever-growing burger scene is proving some of the best beachside burgers in Adelaide (yes, burger scene is a thing).

Burgers?? Is it the trend at the moment?? I certainly think so. Burganomix has opened up at the end of Jetty Road in Glenelg. It is an open cafe / restaurant with plenty of seating inside and outside. You can take in the sunshine just by sitting there. We were invited as guests to sample their menu on a beautiful hot summers night.

We went here tonight for dinner, great burger joint, onion rings were on point, friendly service and they were always checking on us if we needed anything. Manager was friendly and burgers were great, I recommend the pull pork burgers. Good value too, we will be back.
Tempting Palates
Burganomix at 2/1 Colley Tce, Glenelg is the latest burger joint in Glenelg and Tempting Palates were invited to the VIP media launch. It's a casual retro looking place with plenty of seating that suits the vibe of a burger joint in a beach area. Head Chef Aaron Roussos is at the reigns with his team of merry men like the "Tasmanian Devil" on plating up duties and the "Bad Boy" watching over the grill which makes for a dedicated and boisterous bunch of guys serving up some tasty burgers!
Goodfoodthyme
There are so many new burger places that have opened, and the latest is Burganomix, 2/1 Colley Terrace, Glenelg. Open just five weeks it has prime position overlooking Moseley Square and catering to locals, tourists and beach crowds alike. It’s spacious with funky wooden tables, retro tables and chairs spilling out onto the footpath.
