Review Crema On Jetty - Glenelg

Came here for lunch with wife after having terrible entree elsewhere (see my other reviews) food was top quality and fast, had a pizza and salt n pepper squid. Nice staff who served with a smile.

7pm dinner booking on a Sunday night. Only 4 patrons come and eat while we were there. Zero atmosphere, disappointing food. Our Rekorderlig’s had clearly been frozen and then thawed out to serve. Never had oyster mushrooms in a carbonara sauce before, hopefully I won’t ever again either and the Gnocchi was over-cooked. Pizza was ok but nothing special at all. Lacklustre presentation, no background music Our two wait staff were very polite thankfully.

Owner &staff were great! Really made an effort with our food intolerances. Was so pleased to have a beautifully cooked steak with all the trimmings unlike lots of places that just serve it without any effort to replace or make a gluten, garlic & onion free sauce. Traditional but with a modern pimp.

Lovely food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Recommend sitting outside on a sunny day, it's beautiful!

Waited about an hour for food and we ordered garlic bread as a starter. The main courses came out before the garlic bread and we only got the garlic bread after asking about it. Only reason this place got 2 stars is the food was okay. Just have to wait a long while! Not overly impressed and definitely will not be returning

The food was the saving grace here. But well its an adventure getting the food though. The staff all seemed lost and confused. No one knew if they were running food, making drinks or serving customers. Meals came staggered, mains came at the same time as entres. Oysters shucking forks were served with main meal pastas. But the scary thing was all orders had to be placed in person at the counter and paid in advance, but even with some kind of numbering system the staff couldn't get the meals to the right places. This little restaurant has great potential as the food really is good value for money. Just the staff need some TLC.

A very tasty breakfast for two very hungry Melbournians. The smashed avo and the eggs benie were great. The coffee even met our Melbourne high standards for coffee. The only criticism we had was that it was a little pricey but looking at other restaurants in the area, this looks to be on par for the area. They also forgot my hashbrown but I probably didn't need it. I am meant to be watching what I eat. I would happily come back. They are also pet friendly with water for the pups. Staff were very friendly too.

Crema has the best coffee on the Glenelg strip. They have an interesting and comprehensive wine list and the dinner menu is excellent. I've eaten there three times now and the food was always good. They also have super helpful (and nice) staff and a huge range of gluten free items.
