Jerk chicken n mussels were really yummy..had before as well but wasn’t good at all that’s why think to review it this time..will definitely visit again if the Chef would be same girl..🥰though food is expensive but was really yummy. Thank you Chef❤️! I was in hurry but think later on that we should come to you personally Thank you for the food👌👌Serving staff was not good..the lady was kept standing all the time.

Quite authentic Spanish fare great choices we had the shared tapas platter (albondigas pork meatballs) patatas (potatoes and cheesy sauce) the empanadas as a snack second time around.
Enjoyed a nice night here on Saturday evening. Good food and nice atmosphere. Service was not bad, however considering it wasn't packed we still had to flag down a waitress to take our second order of drinks after we waited for some time. We then asked for the bill and it didn't arrive so we went up to pay.
Ordered the Seafood Paella which we shared ($48) and then ordered the mixed dips and bread and a side of olives. It was definitely filling and nice selection!
Overall lovely little place right near the Jetty with nice mood lighting and fair tapas style options.
The food here was absolutely brilliant. I came here with my boyfriend who has coeliacs and they went above and beyond for us. We had the two course banquet and both courses were delicious. The staff are very friendly and the mojitos were lovely. Just wish there was a bit more food for what we had paid, $74 for what seemed to be more of a one person selection. All up the total was $110 with the drinks.
We dined here on a public holiday Monday, place looked rather busy but service was very quick which is always enticing! As it is a tapas bar, the meals are known for sharing but what was not known was how small the starters were - for example one croquette was about $5 which I find a bit pricey. And onto the mains which were good, the mussels especially - 2 people going out for a bite to eat we assumed 4 tapas plates and 2 mains would be ample however I did leave hungry. All in all the service and food was lovely and fresh; I'll you're looking for a cheaper/filling/big meal look elsewhere.. if you're looking to park yourself somewhere near the ocean for the afternoon, order a bottle of wine to sip on as you eat away the day and don't mind spending a bit of $$ THIS is a place for you :)
We had the buffet choice. Was absolutely amazing has now become my favourite restaurant in Glenelg. The buffet had a mixer of the best things on the menu. Best thing you can swap things out to what you want to try. With a bottle of there moscato was the best restaurant experience Iv had in a long time. Well worth it.

The tapas here were pretty irresistible. There were lots of options in the menu that I would have liked to try but had to hold myself back. Expectedly, the portions were small and it was a bit overpriced. We weren't particularly hungry prior to coming here so we were happy with what we had. Some of the main dishes also seemed steep but I can't speak to whether it was worth the price. It was a pretty good experience and I would go back if I had a bit of extra $$ to splurge.

Tasty food but small portions... best going with a tasting platter to share and you will be satisfied. Lunch specials are fantastic when the sun is shining and you can sit outside enjoying Moseley Square.
The tapas tasted lovely :) all of the plates tasted great, however i would say that they are a bit on the pricey end. We spent 100dollars, and the plates were quite small each and about 20dollars a pop.
Crazy prices but overall great food and quality service. Recomend getting a delicious cocktale, and the paella is to die for. Hoping to return soon
From the moment we walked in from the wind we felt warm and cosy and comfortable. The wait staff are very attentive and the music in the background is at a good volume. The food was amazing. Stand out dishes were lamb skewers, chorizo croquet, beetroot salad (for a non mint lover it was good), patatas bravas and the calamari was absolutely beautiful. Dessert was ok, lava cake was a little dry and churro's were on the small side.....
The food was sastisfying, but a little on the stingy side. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were very inviting, but the service was not the best the entree's came pretty quickly and so did the kids meals but once the kids had finished their meals the mains for the tapas still had not come yet. We waited for what felt like almost an hour for our mains. Not good with young kids!

Not only does this place have a prime location, but the food was insanely good. The sauces were incredible too! I've had a lot of squid in my time, and this place did the best squid I have ever had.
The service could have been a little more friendly and genuine, but they were attentive and on their toes, and made sure they met our needs.

Great tapas and service. We sat outside with out dog for an early dinner. The tapas was great. We were beyond full, the price was $111 for 2 which is expensive but it was delicious and we'll worth it. I would recommend. Maybe don't order as much as we did!
1st time today. First time myself and friend had a meal here. We dropped by this morning for breakfast which was very unplanned where we were going to eat. We were greeted by a lovely waiter as we stopped outside to check the menu out. He was very helpful and we sat outside protected from the wind. The service was wonderful and the time waiting for the coffees excellent, breakfast for me was the portobello mushrooms on Turkish bread with Woodside goats cheese and my friend had the pancakes with cream and maple syrup. They were very helpful with a change from ice cream to cream for my friend. The food was delicious. Will go back there.

Pretty bloody good, lamb skewer melted in the mouth, no complaints about service on a busy Saturday night. On a few of the tapas the sauce was used to place the tapas on which is a huge disservice to the food, more sauce! Otherwise all great.
Excellent tapas and the churro s with melted chocolate was to die for.. excellent sangria too..cant have tapas without sangria !! very friendly service and the waiter took time to go through was was recommended on the menu
A very pleasant place to lunch. Funky atmosphere, great location, and good menu and wine selection.
Couldn't fault anything I ate today and while some of the servings appeared small, it is tapas, and the overall bill was very reasonable. Vegetarians would be appreciative of the large and varied menu choices.
Nice place to eat and sink a few Sangria's come Summer.

Fantastic Spanish wine selection, which was perfectly recommended. Its amazing to have a waiter who knows so much and is confident about his wine/food recommendations.

Had a great family dinner here tonight. The night began well when being greeted by what was to be a very attentive and efficient wait staff. Set us up with some impressive Mojitos while we just about ordered the entire menu! It all sounded so good it was hard to leave items out. My personal favourite was one of the specials, a broad bean, mushroom and polenta dish with gorgeous saffron flavours. This is a Must Try! As a couple of us don't eat Chicken or red meat, the Chef was very accommodating in leaving these out of our now seafood paella. It came out looking like a picture and tasting like I remember a good paella should taste from my travels years ago in Spain. I will certainly be recommending my friends to dine here. Warm cozy ambience, authentic delicious tapas and paella, I'm sure it would be a huge hit during the hot summer months too. I'm told you can just go in for a drink or coffee and dessert as well. Will be back!
Went here for the first time today just in time for breakfast... And I cannot fault it! Service was great.. Very attentive! Food was ready at our table within 10minutes.. The food was great...You can't really stuff up bacon and eggs! Wish I has known about this place earlier! Overall a very pleasant dining experience.
The food is delicious - loved the stuffed peppers and fritters, and the churros were amazing! Pretty decent prices too, and the service was great. I'll be back!
Great experience. Very surprised now by other reviews as our whole experience at Tasca Viva was above expectations. Service and setting was just great and as for the menu could have ordered one of everything, just a great way to experience the many food styles and flavours without maxing out on one dish truly a pleasurable experience. Also the opportunity to try again a new and not so common drinks list is always a great combination to good food, in warm surroundings catching up with friends we had not seen for some time.We will certainally try to make it back on our next visit to The area.
Meatballs & paella r awesome and the winelist compliments the food beautifully. Jess, the waitress was amazing. It's like there is new management or something.

Great new place in Glenelg. The food was a good selection, they also have changing specials which is good (have to get the Churros, they are delicious!) the staff, friendly,however don't know the basics. Don't know the difference between wines, and charged for something completely different to what we had. We will try it again though!
Amazing night friendly fast service and the food was to die for! The pork belly will melt in your mouth and is out of this world! So glad we went will be going again!! And the new chef is damn sexy ;)
Great - congratulations!. I visited Tasca Viva for the 2nd time last night. My 1st time was ok, but there were a few issues (which you expect with a new Restaurant). After being told there is a new Head chef and manager I decided to give it another go. I must say, both the food and the service were exceptional. We had a couple of Tapas to start and then the Paella. The tapas of meatballs stuffed with manchego cheese and a fresh tomato sauce was sensational. The best meatballs I've ever eaten (meatballs don't sound that exciting, but these were!). I must say the Paella was also the best I've eaten outside of spain. It is great to finally have somewhere in Adelaide that can do an authentic Paella. Overall service was friendly and efficient and food was very tasty with generous serving sizes. Well done to the new Chef! I would definitely put this on top of the list for restaurants in glenelg.
I enjoy food, love it in fact , one of life's pure enjoyments and after my visit to Tasca viva tonight I have to say simply "wow" , our nz waiter was very funny and suggested a few dishes we tried them and they were so good we had them again!! The 'sizzling prawns' to the marlin and back in for the wagyu and cheesy blue sauce just sent our taste buds flying, easily the best tapas I have had even back from Spain, even talking to people next to us they were buzzing to, thanks Tasca viva big thumbs up!!! See you again soon . Overall amazing food and exceptional service. Cheers for the great night.
Very good Spanish food. Tasty but bill process little bit slow. Maybe because of a lot of customers. Recommended.

Really tasty and fresh food, chorizo had a lovely flavour but a bit over cooked for my liking ... but that's being picky! Staff were friendly and accommodating, had to flag down for another drink they might just wanna be on that could be $$ your losing. Seriously though any negatives only very minor.... wonderful experience. Will be back.
Great restaurant with nice decor. Choice of dining indoor and outdoor, right next to Moseley square in Glenelg Very handy if you plan on using the tram in and out.. We went for lunch on a weekday and it was pretty quiet so the service was excellent the food was fantastic. Price was fairly reasonable but you could easily spend a lot.
