Great food and drinks and fantastic acoustic tunes on a Sunday arvo. Definitely worth a visit. Dog friendly too I noticed. Great atmosphere it seems like an old converted house. Quite a few rooms and a fire going in one that I spotted on this cold day. :D Oh and lots of art on the walls too. Which is a great talking point and adds a unique touch.
Mischief & Mayhem. What a fun, quirky, happy place. The platter was huge, fresh & varied. The Pink Heath champagne, what can I say, it really did go down well (probably a bit too well, we had more than one bottle, that's all I'm going to say ) Was such a hot afternoon, but the outside misters made all the difference, providing excellent comfort. Art lovers will appreciate the beautiful paintings inside & the quirkiness continues as you wander through the rooms towards the immaculate kitchen at the rear. A big shout out to Mari & Sarah, & of course the lovely chef who created our platter. We were made to feel so welcome. Would highly recommend Mischief & Mayhem to anyone wanting to be spoiled in extreme comfort & friendliness.
A really lovely place, with a beautiful energy around. And the people are adorable. Try out the garden in the back ! A really peaceful place to relax and enjoy your meal.
Hope the best for you Marie !
We visited Mischief and Mayhem on Friday night and it was such a lovely experience. The food was delicious, my cocktail was amazing and I loved sitting by the fire and soaking up the artwork!
Had a top lazy afternoon Sunday, yesterday. apparently they have great bands on once a month and if yesterday was anything to go by (no head banging music) you will love it. I had a fantastic and tasty platter with some gorgeous local wine ( never heard of it before) but stunning, will definately go back, sooner rather than later. Staff were courteous, friendly and big time helpful in picking the wine. Top venue. Must try if you are local. Actually, must try if you live in Broken Hill. Very happy and I have to give 5 *.
Mother's Day breakfast was absolutely delicious!!! Special shout out to the amazing quality bacon, the house made hollandaise sauce (I've never had hollandaise this tasty before!) and the friendly, attentive staff. Will certainly be back!!!
Great relaxed atmosphere. Love the cosy fireplace and nooks in every room. Beautiful artworks displayed set off the rooms just so. The food was delightful and I kept going back for more which is an amazing plus in my books! Definitely recommend!
Delicious platters, Naughty Nanna's gin to die for, superb hospitality, amazing decor!...A local treasure!
Thanks for making us welcome we will definitely be regular visitors.
Rennie and Annie
Great wine ,food & staff are awesome ,plus the paintings take you to another world xxxxx
Best wine selection in Glenelg. Great staff and food to match. We’ll be back.
I love the whole ethos of this place -independently run with the dream of supporting local craftsmanship in the form of showcasing independent wine makers, independent artists, indie musicians etc it's just great that a local has taken this initiative cause honestly, there is so much talent in SA. And the food, wine, service, atmosphere and price all get a tick in my book
Dropped in for a quiet coffee.. staff were so lovely coffee was the best and casual meal delicious.
Definitely will return 😀😀
We had a lovely afternoon here yesterday with Marie and Jackson being so welcoming and a pleasant relaxing garden out back, definitely recommend straying off the beaten track to come here! A real hidden gem
Fabulous atmosphere, fabulous food, fabulous service....Just what our corner of the earth needs...the art enthuses....the comfortable seating relaxes...and the people add "colour" to our lives...We WILL return...
Wonderful setting. Lots of rooms, it seems this place is a converted house with a hallway and rooms going off it. Friendly atmosphere the staff and the owner was lovely. Art everywhere this place has a very unique feel and all the art is a great talking point (So it would be great for a first date or for meeting up with ppl you don't know well lots around to see and talk about). Some of which (paintings) was painted by the owner. Food was lovely we had the potato rosti. Tapas prices seemed reasonable. There's a whole bar section and drinks out the back and a good selection of wines and cocktails. But also plenty of coffee options. And even a tumeric latte in thr list. And they do almond milk :D . There was a warm fire in one of the rooms I noticed, great medicine for the winter blues, and the live music on Sundays from 3pm was fantastic too. Definitely worth a look if you want to go somewhere different or even worthy of a regular spot in your weekly hang outs list. This place is a keeper.
Creative menu, not just the same old stuff.
Fantastic quality, awesome cocktails.
Warm and friendly service. They treat you like family all wrapped up in an beautiful setting.
I will be back over and over again.
A cool little cafe. We popped in for a hot chocolate and sweet snack. Brownie was freshly made, still warm and white chocolate and raspberry muffin was delish.
This place has a full blown bar at the back with what looked like a decent wine selection. Hmmm maybe another time 😊
Found this new-ish place by accident and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The eggs benedict was as good as you'll get anywhere. Beautiful soft centre on the poached eggs, crisp toast and fresh spinach. Had a side of smashed avocado as well just to top it off. Definitely will be going back and recommending to friends. Can't wait until they get their licence so we can sit on the deck and enjoy an evening wine as well.
