We enjoyed the banquet tonight and the food was amazing! Fantastic flavour and so many options, will definitely be back. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Thank you!
Went back twice and it was great service and awesome food at a decent price. Had a beef vindaloo washed down with a Kingfisher!
Fantastic food and amazing service. Seriously worth trying if you like Indian food.
Beautiful food. Even better service. The chef even took my son to see the kitchen. He was wrapped. Will definately go back. The incredible service hasn't changed in years. The location is a hard one to access especially for the mobility impaired. Unfortunately that comes with many of the upstairs resteraunts in Glenelg.
Their curries are great. Will go there again and again
Never had anything but good service here, staff are super friendly and the food is quite nice. it's tasty and fresh but I'm someone who prefers chicken breast in a dish so Asian cuisines can be a little hard to completely fall in love with at times. But if you don't care about that then yes this is for you!
Cannot fault the food. Have been here a number of times and it's always amazing. Staff are always friendly, and $2 corkage per person for BYO makes it a very reasonable priced night out eating one of my favourite cuisines.
Don't let the dated decor and thread-bare carpet put you off; family & I shared butter chicken, mango chicken, lamb rogan josh and beef masala. Two servings of rice, pappadums and plain + garlic naan..... YUM!! The waitresses were okay but the food was GREAT!
Neat and spicy. Hey i am so proud make a few comments on Pride of inda. I am a chef specialized in indian ..working in melbourne. recently i came to Adelaide to visit my relatives .. one day we planned to go to Pride of india for a dinner .. in fact it was a test too . they really made me wonder that it was exactly what i was expecting ..i am so glad to see that they do what they say .. the pride of India .. Good on you mates.. Thanks again ..
First time to Pride of India and I wasn't sure what to expect. The decor was very dated and no Indian influence at all! There was an Eiffel Tower clock, old Christmas decorations and a party lights. We were seated and offered drinks immediately. We then ordered entrees, they came out quickly, however one of the dishes was cold. We still left our plates clean as it was too delicious
not to eat and we were hungry. Next up was mains, chicken vindaloo, beef bhasla, roti and rice. All were amazing!!! This is now one of my favourite Indian restaurants!!! Service was good and food was superb.
The cheese naan n butter chicken are so delicious. Friendly staff. Will definitely come back:)

If you ever want to taste Indian Food in Adelaide,,,Pride of India is the place to go,,,,, Cheers to PoI
Great!. Had a wonderful experience at pride of india last Friday night! The "butter chicken" and "chicken tikka masala" were mind blowing! The service was good! Thanks a lot!
This was my second time eating Indian food, and I continue to love it. The vegetarian options are great and if you want mild - that is what you get. The prices are pretty good, the service was lovely and I enjoyed the whole experience. I have a feeling hardcore Indian food lovers might find it lacking, but not me! I would for sure go again.
Pride Of India. We found the food fantastic, of great quality. The seekh kababs, fish pakoras and the mixed pakoras were just the starters to a perfect dining experience! Loved the Beef Madras and the Chicken Tikka Masala!! Best Naans and Baturas I have had in Adelaide. ooh and the Gulab Jamuns just melted in our mouths!! An elegant place to dine in or the perfect place to do a take away!
My Daughter and I come here frequently and have always had good service and really good food. My daughter (8yr) has requested we dine here tonight as when we tried another Indian close by she was disappointed. Pride of India is our favourite. Thank you
Excellent food and friendly service. Sides such as chutney cost a small amount extra, but are clearly visible on the menu.
The heat of each dish is listed next to it on the menu, with several choices available for each heat rating.
Prices are very good given the prime location.
The entrance is hiding down a side street and has a flight of stairs, so it's not wheelchair accessible.
Went to Pride of India over the weekend. If you werent looking up you would certainly miss the restaurant as its upstairs with the staircase down the side street, could do with better signage. Upon entering we were given a table and menus but then waited a while to be asked for drinks. Finally our order was taken. My husband ordered the Vindaloo and I ordered the Tikka Masala. I am a bit of a indian critic but the food tasted beautiful, couldnt fault it. The staff were very friendly and checked in a couple of times to make sure we were enjoying the food. I think this indian place just became my favourite indian restaurant in the South.
The food was delicious however it was difficult to communicate with the waiters and my food arrived much later than everyone else's. They catered well to a large group.
