Review Wokinabox - Glenelg

Very disappointed with our meals. My chicken noodle box only had 2 small bits of chicken and the rest was slightly flavoured noodles. Tissues to use as serviettes rather than serviettes. I won't go back!

Freshly prepared fast food cooked while you watch. Quick and tasty. Good value. Can eat in or takeaway. Friendly team for our lunchtime visit.

I had Mongolian beef, which was quite good, but Dim Sims were doughy and bland. Spring Rolls had no meat and half full of soggy vegetables. Restaurant area clean and tidy.

I've honestly had better Chinese from the microwave section at Coles. Well over priced, extremely under delivered. The counter girl was very helpful and polite.

Overall good food... Dim sums extremely bland so needs a sauce...but the boxes were really good.. had a mee goreng, Mongolian chicken ( had ordered beef) and hot and spicy chicken in the family meal with dim sums crackers and coke... freshly made and good quantity.

Not worth the money. I ordered a Nasi Goreng regular costing $14.00. At this rate you should add more meats to your dishes, you guys gave us next to nothing in terms of beef and pork just alot of rice and peas. Came back here after about 2 years but the mentality still remains. Not worth the money at all.

I’ve tried Garlic prawn noodles and steamed dim sims. They are filling (I haven’t seen anywhere is giving 8 big prawns for less than $20), tasteful and very very fast served. I got there at peak lunch time and I liked the vibrant atmosphere in the restaurant which seemed like they really valued customers’ time.

Sorry to be mean, but in my opinion this is not real Asian food. If I was starving and there was no other option, then I would eat here. Otherwise, I'd give it a miss. I suppose you get what you pay for...it's quick, cheap and simple. On the bright side, the ingredients are fresh.

Quick, easy, and always fresh.

Currently, there are 18 Wok In the Box stores in Adelaide, with each store offering a fusion of Asian cuisines. The menu is fairly straight forward with a selection of noodle, stir fry, fried rice and bento boxes to choose from. If you don’t like what’s on offer, you can select your own protein, noodle type and sauce to create your own customised dish.
