Review Dulwich Bakery - Glenelg

Lynley Clark
Lovely baked goods and great staff. The thing girl was very busy, but nothing was too much trouble. Would have added one more star, but my spinach roll was a little too peppery. Might be my taste buds though.

Just paid $7.95 for a curried egg and lettuce roll. The roll was so cold that it was almost frozen and had no flavour. The bread was stale/hard and the egg was so old that it was chewy and had delaminated into layers in some sections. I would like to say that this is my first bad experience at dulwich bakery but there have been many.

Chicken roll had more butter than chicken. $10 for not much filling at all. Very disappointing. Roll was also placed in paper bag with no glad wrap or anything.

Always a safe haven for coffee and bakery items . Staff are friendly and efficient

Gone downhill over the years. Pies and quiches used to be full of tasty fillings, but their chicken pies are now soup in pastry and their quiches, just scrambled egg with a couple pf mushroom and tomato slices on top. Disappointing for $28!

I ordered a black forest cake for my son in law and I had my grandson with me,who was a littleunsettled,so the young lady helped me carry the cake to my car.there are not a lot of people like that ,bring the good old fashioned service, well done and thank you so much, don't know her name ,but she knows who ,so much appreciated.

I object to a business that doesn’t clearly display their prices. It’s a pity because I have loved this Bakery. Their food is good. Please display your prices.

Avoid the Almond Croisant. Purchased an almond Croisant from the Glenelg bakery today for $4.00. Very disappointing as it was clearly more than a day old, very dry pastry. These are yesterday's Croisant with almond cream added and a dusting of icing sugar over the top. Perhaps the owners should make their next travel destination Paris and learn what a real almond Croisant should look and taste like!

Don't purchase one you will be disappointed.

The Glenelg South store is located towards the end of Partridge Street within a small shopping complex. On top of the products that their known for, they also offer a selection of bread, sweets, desserts, cocktail snacks and biscuits.
