Review Zambrero - Glenelg

They donate meals for meals to those who are needy. They have lots of mexican food options. Kind of like a subway in that ingredients are built in front of you. I love their nachos (mini is good if you want a lite snack- or a kids snack). They’re hiring at the moment.

The food was amazing as always. However as soon as we had entered the store the staff had become Covid Marshals, literally yelling orders at customer. The staff were more concerned about the way customers wearing their mask rather than the customers order and experience within the restaurant. The staff at the restaurant need adequate coaching on how to treat humans fairly. Won’t be coming back here.

Portion sizes are terrible lately. The same guy who served me a couple months ago served me again and he made the smallest burrito ever. Looking at the reviews, apparently a lot of people feel the portion sizes are not up to standard of all the other zambies! Recommend the owner/manager at Glenelg actually does something about this. Won’t be going here again.

My partner and I both got pork burritos and within 30 minutes were both violently ill with food poisoning, neither of us finished them as we thought they tasted odd. I’ve had pork from you many times so this is very unusual but wanted to let you know so you can look at your wholesaler/storage processors.

Great service, even though it was super busy staff patiently answered the questions and helped me to make perfect meal. Flame chicken Burrito bowl ( white rice) was delicious. Cons Outside sitting is not super comfortable.

Shocking portion sizes. The tiny amounts for the price you pay. Should have known better than coking here. Prime location underdelivering

When we were looking at menu preparing to order , the guy that served us was very rude he did not have a customer skills at all. the amount of money you paid is not even good for the portion you received.

Cheers for getting all THREE of our burritos wrong! Unless I’m under the wrong impression that a chicken burrito should have chicken in it? Not to mention we ordered two vegetarian options with DOUBLE beans but apparently whoever put the order together decided to instead add a ridiculous amount of sauce instead... aka, barely ANY beans WHICH WE PAID EXTRA FOR! What’s worse is that this isn’t even the first time this has happened! Not a single person finished their bland flavourless burrito, which is sad because we love Zambrero but your Glenelg store has left much to be desired as of late! We’ve wasted our money with this store one too many times! If we wanted bland, tasteless food, we could get that for free with a lot less excuses AND it would probably still taste better! Tired of paying for poorly made food and even poorer excuses! Pick up your game or get off the field!
