Review Chicken Time - Glenside

Absolutely fantastic food, so lovely and fresh and the girls that were on were so friendly and helpful. My new favourite chicken (fish and chips too) shop. 🐔🐟🍟

Me and my friends were looking forward to a nice chicken schnitzel and chips without gravy or vegetables but the shopkeeper decided to give us vegetables and a pile of gravy which covered the food. I recommend not going here if you want to have a taste of something that's not gravy. Poor form.

The best hot chip and gravy I have ever tasted in my life well impressed as this is the second time I have had food from here and the staff was absolutely amazing and very helpful and very polite very fast service on both occasions will definitely be back again many thanks. Well I have got to say that today was the best day for me and it has to be said that the food here was unbelievable I am so glad to have found chicken time its has to be my most favourite place for food I today 3.1.21 came in and asked for a chicken schnitzel burger and I've got to say its the best burger I have ever had and probably likely to have ,theses guys that work here are absolutely fantastic always have a smile and greet myself and my wife like we were family and friends you guys really are great people we travel 4 hours to Adelaide and we always stay at the same hotel so we can eat here thank you all so very much for everything kerry

Great takeaway, consistently good food. Their fish is always fresh and delicious and I love their seafood salad. Nice and clean, my favourite of the local fish and chip shops.

When we're in the mood for great fish and chips, we come here. Lovely family run business, great food. Thanks guys

I have been to all 3 of their stores multiple times over the past 8yrs, although some of the faces have changed, the service, food quality, value for money and cleanliness have stayed the same, Fantastic! the chicken hot packs and salads are some of the best i have had.

Best Chicken & Chips East side of the city. Great friendly service along with fair pricing. Do yourself a favour and go try their hot chips for a start..

Frida is very good at her job would really recommend promoting her. She makes the shop better and I really like the new girl Harriette. Great job everyone

Arrived there at 8:00pm on a Saturday night and they had already locked the doors and were closing up the shop. They advertise that they're open til 8:30, 7 days a week, and I didn't think I'd have to ring ahead of time if I'm going to be there 30 mins before closing.Go to the Norwood store instead, it's worth a longer trip since it's actually open.

Have been going here since 1975. But it now crap. Ordered a cold snitzel pack. Got the car, checked, almost no chips and he only put in one piece of snitzel instead of the usual 1 and a half. Went straight back into the shop to question them, they told me that cold snitzel packs are not meant to come with chips. I todl him to look at the sign above which has been there for 10 years.  He said that it was an error on the sign. So I told him I will email every friend and tell them to not go there. I told the shop we would never go again. He just shrugged his shoulders. No wonder he never smiled or said thank you when he took the money and gave me the order. He has no friggin idea. Stay away. This place is sh*t

Poor service ordered 3 items ordered potato fritters got chips ordered seafood salad got chicken salad ordered coleslaw and egg salad got potato salad ..discovered errors on arrival home...they employ staff who don't care I won't return...

Not really worth the take away, time or money. The chips were soggy, the meat dry and overall not that cheap. Very disappointing. I hope they pick up their game soon.

Terrible service and extremely rude staff. We used to only get our chicken and chips from here but we will never go back there now. Extremely disappointed.

Regular Chicken Shop. Always quick service and the chips are easily best in town. $10 for 1/4 Chicken & Chips of that calibre is a steal!!!!

They look good, I'd really want to try it some day, I guess whenever I visit there I'm hitting you guys :D I just hope it's all good when I come :p

This used to be our favourite chicken shop with fantastic chicken, perfect chips & delicious gravy. We would cross town for a visit even after we moved away from the area. It seems there has been a change of owners and there has been a 15% price hike. They now have yiros and ABs on the menu which was our first clue of the change in owners. The chips & gravy were so salty we felt unwell afterwards and the chicken was average. It is such a shame as we loved the place so much. Service was very friendly at least.

Got the runs?. The past 4 times we ordered from this store, we have ended up sitting on the toilet. The new owners are rude and useless along with their staff. <br/>The food was great when the previous owners were there. I will NOT step foot in this store again. Beware. You will end up on the toilet!

This place used to be great, with really friendly service, I think there has been a change in owners.. The food is good but that's about it.. The service is terrible, so rude and doesn't hesitate in telling the customers off. Witnessed the owner guy belittle a junior worker in front of lots of customers, he looked terrified. Not sure I will be back..

Having been to the Chicken Time store in Norwood, I was keen to check out their nearby store in Linden Park. As expected, the menu is exactly the same with burgers, hot packs, yiros, seafood and salads on offer.
