Lovely place here! Very good interiors and nice staff! Food was fantastic and served quick. Tasty and yummy! Definitely recommend and will be back with my family!
My favourite is the soft tofu and vegetable soup with rice, it is so delicious and filling. A healthy and yummy take away option and they make it nice and spicy.
The cold noodle, spinach pancake are the highlights to me. Reasonably priced and quick service so no complaints. Good place away from the CBD.
Great suburban eatery. The spicy chicken was delicious. Good value for money. Friendly service
The bread garden next door is a good option for dessert.
This is a good korean restaurant. The cost is a bit higj but still good taste.
The service isnt consistent, sometimes its good and others not so great.
Miga korean served homie korean food, delish, healthy and yum. What I like from japanese and korean food, they are light but full in tummy, doesn't made you fat. Just spent $50/2pax for lunch. I had bibimbap, served in a hotpot. I like the broth, light but delicious. My friend had udon and he said was beautiful..the portion wasn't big but your belly will feel okay with it. Will come back for another menu
They've got quite a variety. There was four of us so we ordered . Beef Hot Pot Bibimbap | Hot Pot Bibimbap with Fish Roe, Fried Kimchi, and Veges | Bibimbap with Sashimi | Spicy BBQ Pork with Rice | Spicy Pork Bone Soup | Soft Tofu Soup with Seafood
LOVE their Spicy Pork Bone Soup & Soft Tofu Soup with Seafood as well as their Beef Hot Pot Bibimbap. MUST TRY ! Also, you can choose your level of spiciness :)
I love the korean food here. Best I've tasted so far in adelaide! I would definitely recommend the Pork Bone soup, The beef bibimbap as well as their seafood tofu soup. Seriously tastes really good!
Enjoyed nice food and nice service there. We had pancake, tofu & vege soup, bimbinb, and udon which are so delicious. Ps. Forgot my bag there after meal, but thank staff for taking care of it.
Exceptional korean food at its best. We came in to this restaurant and was greeted warmly by the owner and chef. Interior was decorated as such to portray a homey feeling.
We ordered the bibimbap, kimchi tofu stew, and the kimchi seafood pancake. Bibimbap was delicious - from the charred rice to the perfectly balanced vegetables, matched all together by the heavenly gochujang sauce. Kimchi soup was outstanding too. Perfect balance of spiciness, saltiness and sourness. And the pancake was crispy, full of seafood and at a reasonable price.
We were so full by the end of the meal. Great hospitality and service, great food and ambiance. We will be back!
Decent korean food. Good korean kimchi pancake which was crispy and full of flavour. Reasonable price of the food. Friendly service. Kimchiwas excellent as well. Would return for more delicious korean food
Nice little Korean restaurant run by a very friendly chef and his friends/family. Our favourite here is the spicy seafood/king prawn stew with the option of adding udon noodles but beware, this dish is spicy. The other usual Korean dishes like the bulgogi and kimchi pancake are great as well. Price is good at approx $20/head. Bookings required especially weekends/dinner time.
I love the quirky decor in this place. It's proof that you can achieve a nice effect on a budget. The menu is fairly small, but ticks all the Korean boxes, with things like hand rolls & bibimbap. We have been here multiple times and the food has always been good. The service is a bit lacking at times & if they are busy you may wait a bit for your food, but it should be worth it. They also stock a good range of Korean drinks (beers etc) although the wine list is a bit basic. Check them out, you won't be disappointed!
Definitely a hidden gem in Adelaide, tucked in between shops is this cosy little place that serves great Korean food. The staff are really friendly and I would totally recommend their Samgyetang, especially on a cold winter's night. Miga hwaiting!
Another small Korean restaurant located on Payneham Road, and another one to add into my go-to Korean restaurants. The interior of this restaurant really looks like the ones I've been in Korea and i appreciate their effort in doing so. However, their menu was quite limited in comparison to Sushi Gallery (across the street), but each dish all had an unique flavour. I ordered their signature Bibimbob (stone pot) and Kimchi Pancake, and i have to say this place has one of the best Kimchi pancakes in Adelaide. It was nice and crispy, and could taste Kimchi in each bite. Their menu may be limited, but i would definitely come back to try their remaining dishes.
Another positive for Miga is their customer service. You would be welcomed by each staff when you enter, and a thank you when you leave. They may be shorthanded, but each of them showed passion and really want each customer to enjoy their meal by giving you tips with the sauces and what goes well with it. The type of customer service they provide is second to none, and i really enjoyed speaking to each of them.
Best restaurant in Adelaide I've been to in a long time. Quality food, amazing service and very good prices. Everyone inside the venue was insanely friendly and very helpful to myself and my girlfriend who were pretty unfamiliar with certain foods. 100% going to go there again and will definitely become a regular place for us to go to. You're doing yourself a huge favour checking the place out!
Perfect. Group of 4 ate here on an extremely hot night. All staff unflustered, helpful, efficient. Restaurant is small, attractive decor, plenty of space at table, effective air con. Open kitchen. Spotless and shiny. We took two bottles of wine. $10 corkage. Waitress promptly delivered ice. Each person had an entre and a main. I chose kimchee seafood pancake and Bibimbob with fish roe and kimchee. Both crunchy and delicious. Husband chose handmade pork dumplings and seafood tofu soup, both delicate and tasty. Friends each had hand rolls and bibimbap. All dishes beautifully presented and served promptly with usual accompaniments. Total $106 was a bargain. Thank you.
Tasty and fresh. Recommended.. Just had a lovely dinner at Miga. It was our first time, just the two of us. We ordered way too much but we wanted to try everything.
The restaurant is small but very nicely presented, with about 6 tables of 4 chairs. It was very clean. We didn't use the bathrooms, so I can't comment about that. They take visa/mastercard.
We had the kimchi pancake, takoyaki, beef bimbap, beef rib soup and two imported korean beers. Total price $60.90.
The mains are around $12-$15 each.
Everything was fresh and tasty! The bimbap bowl was super hot and made my rice nice and crunchy, plus it came with miso-like soup. I would highly recommend the pancake. It's not normally something I would try/like but we had heard good things and we weren't disappointed.
The staff were super friendly!
For a cheap and delicious dinner (you don't have to go overboard like we did) I would recommend this lovely little place.
Great food, great price and great service. Would recommend this cheap eat!
Good food, good price; the kind of East Asian restaurant that's largely missing from Adelaide: one that students can afford to eat it! Japanese and Korean usually only get a 'premium' showing in Adelaide (with the exception of Korean BBQ) so to get an authentic Korean restaurant with a decent, varied menu is refreshing. Just be aware it is a small operation and you may need to wait for both your food and your service on a busy night.
Probably the best out of the many Korean restaurants in the Payneham, Glynde and St Morris areas. Their portions are slightly smaller than their competitors but their focus is the quality of their food. Very flavoursome mains served with well dressed salads.
Hands down, one of the best Asian food places we have eaten at. Good food and good pricing in a small but friendly complex. Miga Korean Restaurant is based on high traffic road, but it can be easily missed! We had a number of entrees including Korean pancake which we had never eaten before. The dumplings were freshly made, and the hand rolls were perfect. The mains were a good serving and used quality meats that was not saturated in fatty oils. This is a place that students will be able to afford but that doesn’t mean the quality of the food is sacrificed by the pricing. Verdict – Get down there today! Miga Korean Restaurant 474 Payneham Rd, Glynde
Was recommended this Cozy little place by a friend - couldn’t believe I drove past this place several times a week!
Such a hidden gem, if you are looking for some tasty Korean Food...this is the place!
The food is always fresh and the service is super quick + friendly.
Go to dishes are the “Sweet Chilli Chicken” & “Spicy BBQ Pork” when are both tasty and consistent everytime!
Oh, and the beverage of choice to wash down the fabulous meal is the brown rice tea 🍵👍🏻
Quick and good service. Warmth welcoming family run restaurant. Mixture of Japanese and Korean style dinning experience. Good quality of food, it was okay but not impressive. Good variety as well. I had takoyaki as entree, BBQ beef for main and wife had "bimbimbab". 7/10 score as a standard restaurant not fine dining.
It has lovely Korean food in a nice setting. Staff friendly and polite.
Authentic & scrumptious! The best Korean restaurant in Adelaide. It gets quite busy around dinner time but has only one server, which means you will have to wait a while to be served. The restaurant has only 8 tables, when it gets full, they can do much better with another waiter/waitress.
Easily the BEST Korean food in Adelaide !!. Affordable and oh so tasty food. The Korean pancake is the best I've ever had. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful in helping you select what dishes would suit best. Highly recommend the varieties of 'tea' too -buckwheat (LOVE IT). Great restaurant, wonderful atmosphere.. GREAT CHEF!
Great dining. Friendly staff. Menu has a good selection of authentic Korean dishes but the chef still took the time to make a special dish for my daughter. Also reasonably priced. Well recommended.
I would say this is my favourite restaurant in Adelaide - very good food, friendly staff, even the kitchen is open! You can see all materials are stored in very organised way and two cooks work nice and fast. Their staff always look happy and they look after you well from start to end. Everything is perfect, just can't expect they do any better!
