A hidden gem, with an uber cool atmosphere. The food is delicious, very affordable and there is something to suit everybody. Definitely check out their cocktails too, they are delicious!
The portion sizes are perfect. I have been here many times and have always shared two or three tapas with a friend, followed by polishing off a full meal and have not felt over full afterwards.
The staff are very accommodating and they really get to know you if you become a regular. They are very friendly, have great advice on what to choose and are very efficient.
I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem. Definitely book well in advance as they are very busy on Friday and Saturday nights.

We were joining a group of friends at Can Tho at 6.30pm and I sent a query FB at 6 asking about vegan options on the menu. They replied within 5 mins. At the restaurant our waitress happily went thru the menu with us explaining the modifications that could be made to make certain menu items vegan.
Unfortunately the tofu in the Viet taco was in the form of marinated mock meat and we couldn't tell the difference. My teenage daughter nearly had a meltdown convinced she had eaten pork. I asked our waitress if it was possible if a mistake had been made and she was so determined to put us at ease she went to kitchen & came back with a little bowl of the mock meat to show us. I really appreciated her effort on our behalf as my daughter is a very committed vegan and quite distraught and only the waitress's words could calm her down. I'm sorry I don't know the waitress's name to identify her here. Thankyou so much. Apart from that little drama we had a great nite ; the atmosphere, the service and the menu are all terrific. 🕉☮
Friendly & accommodating service; food was well priced for good quality, fresh ingredients, great fusion of flavours & portion size; lovely decor & it's setup allowed for both intimate and small group gatherings. Will definitely visit again!

I've been a few times now, and the steamed chili dim sims are to die for!! Need to book at least a week in advance to get a table, other than that food, service, and cocktails are amazing
Great food, great service and even better atmosphere. Meals came out when they were ready, really well presented and sizzling hot while there was a good selection of cocktails and overseas beers. Daughter was impressed with their selection of gin bottles on show.
The ambience is hip and relaxed. The staff and owners are very welcoming. Service is attentive and quick. The menu is Modern Vietnamese, presentation is chic and well styled, fresh and tasty. Great cocktails, again with SE Asian flair as well as classic mixology. Busy but not frantic at peak times, we sat at the bar and got to chat with the owner, learnt about the cuisine and discovered some new favourites on the cleverly designed menu. Book ahead, come back often.

Absolutely deli should dinner. We had dim sims and quail to start and the Barramundi and Chilli squid. Highly recommend and will return to try the savoury pancake.

We went there with a table for four. I'd been there before the three others were the first time. Food was wonderfully unexpectantly fresh,sweet, sour. Bit of a confusion with last beer ordered but was treated with courtesy and sorted. Authentic Vietnamese food...was surprised to be served by Australian waiters...a table turned perhaps x
Been here a couple of times with friends and the experience has been great. The food was delicious, would like to see how this cuisine compares to actual Vietnamese Food in the home country, but it is impressive so far.
Next Vietnamese on the good coast. Food options are so contemporary and delicious. Service is amazing, and the bar/cocktails and drink choices are on point.

This is by far my favourite restaurant on the North Coast. Sexy squid is to die for. Staff are excellent and the atmosphere is vibrant. All neighboring restaurants are nearly empty and it's easy to see why. You just can't compete with this quality of food for the $$.
I went there for the first time on a Friday night with a mate. The place was charming and very family oriented. This place encourages sharing so they don't bring the food all at once. The first to arrive was the Viet Taco. You're supposed to take some of the taco and wrap it in lettuce, but the bean sprouts were falling over the place I decided to eat it like a salad. LoL! The freshness of those ingredients just burst like happiness in my mouth. It was a good thing to try but I probably will not order the viet taco again. I also had the Saigon crispy chicken and the chicken barbecue. My favorite was the barbecue. It was so soft and so flavourful I could eat it for days! There are other exciting things in the menu but you can only eat so much. LoL! I will definitely go back.
I've been here twice, once for a group dinner and once for a dessert and drinks date. Food and atmosphere are both amazing, service is great, prices are reasonable. I love that each dish has something unique about it. I got taro ice cream which tasted amazing! My friends also reported that the pho was delicious. I look forward to going again soon!
I tried the their banh xeo pancakes which they call 'Viet Tacos.' I liked the taste but I feel more lettuce would have been good especially if sharing with others. I will be back tomorrow for my birthday dinner!

The staff are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and the food was brilliant. As good as any Viet food I've experienced on the GC or Melbourne.
I can't wait to come back .

Delicious tapas Vietnamese restaurant that serves beautiful dishes perfect for sharing with friends and family. Food is reasonably priced and so are the drinks. If you don't like noise, sit outside as it can get very noisy and busy inside! Recommend booking!

Try this one for the best Vietnam food on the GC best for 4 or more dining together as the menu is very much about sharing.
Only issue is they don't allow BYO on weekends and their wine menu is a bit weak
But the food is amassing been there with lots of different parties of friends and all have loved it

Amazing dim sims but I've had better pho. Very trendy and new age set up. They encourage sharing which is pretty neat. Would go back to try more share plates but wouldn't get the pho again unfortunately.
Perfect! Reasonably priced, great menu, tasty fresh food. Location is a little crappy but they have done a great job creating enough atmosphere you barely even notice you're sitting adjacent to the car park. Yummy chicken lives up to its name, beautiful beef pho.
Had heard some great reviews about this place and decided to give it a try.
3 of us tried it last night and it was pumping. Luckily we booked as it was very busy. On arrival we were seated and ordered drinks and were informed that we may have to wait a little as was busy and our waitress apologized in advance.
When our food arrived we were not disappointed as it was fresh, delicious and plentiful. Highly recommended and will return.

FAULTLESS!! The food is INCREDIBLE, the service is divine!! This is a one of a kind Vietnamese restaurant and the only the kind like it on the Gold Coast. Undoubtedly the best Vietnamese in Queensland. The Banh Xeo was amazing, the claypot incredible, and my only disappointment was that the Bo Kho was sold out!!
Sensational, ambiance setting, music, staff, cocktails and the food wow blown away this place is going to see alot of me! Brilliant thank you Can Tho for putting the faith back into me re Gold Coast restaurants I was getting worried!

Wow! This is a must do when in GC. Great for locals wanting great service, easy access location and competitive price.
Situated in a shopping strip area, outlook looks bleak with the cars seen through the plastic weather protectors for outside diners. Recommend they add dark shades for evening service. The outdoor area (where we were seated) is lovely!
We were lucky to be seated - make a booking in advance for weekends.
Restaurant just undergone renovations and is phenomenal. Features cocktail bar and comfortable seating. Next door is Thai restaurant. Can Tho will blast them out of the water with this new look, rejuvenated dining experience.

Service outstanding. Request Charlene! Her passion for the refurb and customer experience is hard to find these days. Charlene acted as through she was a stakeholder in the business. Who knows, maybe she should be. The owners should be very proud of this hospitality professional .
tip: if they read this review, would be nice for the wait staff to give water on arrival to every guest- not be a request only basis.

**AMAZING**. I love this place so much, I've been there on 3 occassions now, and always think to myself I should write a review, then forget.
The food is incredible & the service is always exceptional. It's one of my favourite places to go on the Gold Coast, the food is authentic and the prices are very reasonable. LOVE LOVE LOVE
