Blink and you'll miss it. With about 12 seats inside, it's not expansive. But it's survived, no, it's thrived. I went for dinner, and the locals have beat a well worn path to the door, while we waited and ate I saw at least 20 people served. Most orders were takeaway, but my goodness, don't let the size fool you, these guys are running a brisk business, with good reason. Value, flavour is 5/5. Ingredients 4/5- we thought the dishes could use a few more fresh/green veggies. But the gem is the lady serving, she's warm, friendly and bubbly. I'll go back, just for her!

We have lived just around the corner from Ming's Chinese for over 7 year's and only tried their food once when we first moved here so we didn't really remember what it was like. After reading so many great reviews we decided to give them a try. Well all I can say is that we were very disappointed... The fried rice was terrible, so bland and tasteless!! It's JUST coloured with very little soy sauce and a few pieces of chicken, BBQ pork and prawns sitting on top, obviously not all cooked together. We ordered Beef with Garlic sauce, but it had no garlic flavour at all!! The combination omelette was average and so was the Peking pork. We live in Southport and for the last 30 year's have always had Chinese food from the Good Choice Chinese Restaurant at Helensvale, which we have always enjoyed very much, it's a little bit more expensive but it's definitely worth the drive!! After our disappointing experience at Ming's we now know 100% that it's DEFINITELY worth the drive to Helensvale!! Sorry guys but no where near as good.

NO ADDED MSG. Have been ordering take away for more than 20 years. Always food of choice when we have visitors. Usual Asian cuisine. Always good food. Not oily. U can eat there though very small. Very friendly always. No longer deliver sadly as very small business. Get to know this place as a local.

So hard now to find authentic Chinese fried rice most place's put the packet frozen vegetables consisting of square little pieces of carrots, corn and the pea's in it. Real fried Rice doesn't have corn and carrots in it pea's yes, so good on you guy's at Ming's for providing Chinese food lover's authentic Chinese fried Rice. Will be a loyal customer if this style Rice doesn't change. Also going to try several other menu item's, now I'm confident with their fried Rice. Actually tried the spring roll's, home-made, delicious, anything homemade is a 10 out of 10 for us. Can't wait to try the Singapore noodle's and Ming's Honey chicken. Thankyou Ming's for beautiful food and friendly accommodating service.
