Review Miami's Indian Kitchen - Gold Coast

Though this restaurant appears a little run down and lacking dine in customers the curry was quite tasty and aromatic. There is a choice of the level of chilli spice Mild, Medium and Hot. We had the chicken korma, biryani with chicken both Medium however being quite tolerant to chilli heat we didn't find this spicy at all. We also ordered Tandoori chicken which came out on a cast iron hot plate which was unusual and believe this may have contributed to the chicken breasts becoming dry. Side condiments I would recommend to compliment the curries are the raita and garlic naan. The menu is extensive with something to suit most..even children that are not familiar with chilli spice are catered for with nuggets and other finger food!

Done my research first and this place seemed to be a good choice according to other reviews. From the outside and even upon entering the place i got a bit worried i will say. Waiter presented in jeans and a T-Shirt. Andvto say it was a bit outdated would be generous. However. The reason we went was for the food, Papadums and water straight up, menu had heaps of options food was there in around 20 minutes. We had Butter Chicken. Naan. Rice and a Vindaloo. All absolutely fantastic meals. Full of flavour, meat was tender and priced really well. With a soft drink each our whole meal came to $44. Great value for the meal we had. Will be back there at some stage for sure. Excellent value and excellent food.

Butter chicken was horrible. It tasted like it was watered down and had no spices or anything. I am so disappointed! I had mango chutney, butter chicken and naan. All not great.

Ordered a few meals now through Miami Indian kitchen, the food has been exceptional. What's been awesome is that one of my family members has a dairy intolerance, and they happily accept special instructions for changing ingredients to accommodate their needs. Awesome and highly recommended!

The worst butter chicken I've ever had. It was so sweet we couldn't even eat it and ended up throwing the rest out too. We ordered from Menulog trusting the reviews online but clearly people are delusional. I don't understand how this restaurant even has any good reviews because the food was honestly so disappointing. How can you call yourselves an Indian restaurant when you are not serving traditional Indian food. Disgraceful that you can serve food like this and charge people money for it. So many better Indian restaurants on the gold coast, don't even bother!!

I live locally and have been here many times. Food is fantastic. Very traditional and a huge menu. Massive serves too! Cheap drinks unheard of in restaurants nowadays. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great for take away too. I have taken many interstate friends here and they all rave its the best Indian they have had. Would definately recommend!

Bloody good Indian. Every part of the meal here was a good experience. Very friendly, attentive staff. Papadums and water as soon as we sat down. Curries were awesome, I was blown away. I tasted like they had made the sauces from scratch, I could actually taste the different elements. Great flavours, saffron rice was awesome. I don't think the coast has much to offer Indian wise, this is an exception. A very refined Indian at very reasonable prices. Beers were $4 to top it off!!

Worst. "Indian". Food. Ever Seriously, if they serve this quality of food to every patron, then I have no clue as to how anyone can write a decent review of this place. I have simply never come across Indian food this bad in a takeaway. In fact, I don't think I've come across food this bad in a takeaway. Our naan were two, garlic, and cheese, and we couldn't tell which was which. They were also undercooked to the point of being inedible. We threw these out. The butter chicken was bright red to look at, which was unnerving, and appeared as though it had been dyed with food colouring. When I tasted it, it became clear why. The chicken pieces had been dumped into a vat of hot chilli sauce (i.e. like a bottle of masterfoods hot chilli sauce that had been poured out into a pot and called butter chicken sauce). There was no hint of spicing or flavour, it was purely something that had come out of a jar and didn't resemble butter chicken, or Indian style food, in the slightest. Perhaps next time you can at least pour out a jar of butter chicken sauce. We threw this out. The plain white rice, I will admit, was good. Well done on cooking plain white rice. Though, alas, I don't eat plain rice as a meal. 1 star, for the rice. Never again.
