Review Romanas Pizza & Pasta - Gold Coast

The food and cocktails are just so different on the East Coast compared to the West Coast of Australia. I would highly recommend this restaurant the food was absolutely delicious, the cocktails were delicious and plenty of both. The service was so polite and friendly I have not seen customer service like this for a long time. Well done.

It was such a lovely , atmosphere here for dinner. All the staff were extremely professional and did an amazing job . We ordered a soup starter and ravioli, enjoyed choosing the pasta with our sauce deciding on spaghetti bolansge and a large pizza to share. Each meal served was greeted with the option of adding fresh Parmesan cheese , salt or pepper. Very easy to share all meals with the kids instead of getting kids meals .but the option is there. We were treated like royalty and are definitely coming back again to explore more of their amazing authentic Italian meals. 100% recommend this restaurant for family’s , friends and couples.. just Devine.

The staff are very friendly Kevin our host was sensational, food was amazing. Menu was hard to choose from so many good options. The vibe was great it didn't feel like we were waiting long for our food at all. Would recommend.

Ordered lasagne and pizza. The lasagne was so disappointing especially for an Italian Restaurant. It was a few sheets of pasta swimming in sauce which seemed like it had been microwaved. It tasted like a lasagne you'd pick up from Coles. Do not recommend at all

Delicious food in a spacious, relaxed atmosphere. Great to find a lovely Italian restaurant with not only pizzas and pasta, but beautiful veal scallopine (funghi and limone) and schnitzels. Also one of the best fresh tomato bruschetta and sticky date pudding I've had. Staff are attentive and friendly also

They've been there 38 years, at Nobby Beach, so I thought I'd give them a try when I was in the area on business. The pizza was burnt, the dough dry and flavorless. Sauce was ok. Pizza is not supposed to be burnt to a crisp or hard like a brick. At 15$, this was terrible. The salad was good though, so that evens out the score.

Went there a few times for dinner as I do live close by, never had any issues about the service but tonight was such a terrible experience. Absolutely nasty passive aggressive comments from the guy that was serving us, treating me and my friend in a way that you should never be allowed in this industry at all. One star as it’s not possible zero, definitely don’t recommend.
