Review La Porchetta - Gold Coast

Amazing restaurant. Customer service is by far one of the best I have ever experienced. The staff make sure that you get the most out of your money and the food was extremely tasty.

Again vegetarian options are little but the pizza I had was amazing my taste buds could easily relish them loved the pizza n coke of course🤪bought a kids meal for my son wherein he got chips ice cream n pizza he was so happy

Wonderful friendly staff. Experienced with drinks and food. Accommodating with the food. I wanted veggies with my meal, but I wanted them cooked not crunchy. I received exactly how I wanted them. Absolutely delicious. Just so sorry that my tummy was so full. Will definitely be returning. Well done to the owners, staff and everyone one involved with this business.

Looking for some vegan eats and this place did not dissapoint. A whole column dedicated to vegan food! The penne vegano was simply amazing, I can't wait to try the other stuff on the menu. Location is pretty easy close to Cavill Ave tram and the setting is fairly relaxed with outdoor and indoor seating. So devastated to find out there are no resteraunts in nsw from a quick search on Google. Please come to my home state guys! Highly recommend!

We had an disaster of an experience with a certain delivery service. We ended up picking up our food ourselves and Romeo and Fabian, feeling bad for us made it well worth our while. Pizza was amazing and the service exceptional.

Dropped in mid afternoon for a late lunch. Place was quiet. Lunch (pasta) was good value . And was very nice. My compliments to the chef ! Great service. Friendly staff.

A little disappointed with the food to be honest. Wife said her spaghetti prawns was nice but my vegetarian pizza had no seasoning and was served on a stainless steel plate which meant the base was soggy after having the third slice. Couldn't finish it off as it fell apart. Kids meals were OK and did the job though the serving for the kids lasagne was tiny. Value was ok but nothing special. Much better options around the corner.

My girlfriend and I came to the gold coast for a holiday for a week. While walking along surfers paradise area at night looking for food after a long drive, we came across la porchetta and were immediately greeted with a friendly and welcoming personality. We dined and had an incredible meal, which both us big eaters couldnt finish, and for a great price too! Several times since, we have walked past la porchetta and we were remembered by the same friendly waitress which was a nice feeling. Its now our last night here and we decided to dine at la porchetta again due to the excellent service and even better food. Once again we were remembered and greeted by the same waitress, and the service was once again, awesome. We are in the process of stuffing our faces with even more bloody brilliant meals, and just couldnt resist the urge to give this place a big thumbs up, as it is most certainly well deserved. The waitresses name was Anna btw. I wish La Porchetta was still in Coffs Harbour.

Ate here last night - well couldn't eat was terrible ! Since when does an American pizza have no cheese! A scraping of tomato base & a couple of pieces of very spicy � (we asked for mild) pepperoni scattered here & there plus the base was like an old piece of cardboard thin and bland plus burnt. Was so looking forward to the pizza I remember from previous visits but must be cost cutting time or something � won't return �

first off all the chicken schnitzel wasnt a real Schnitzel it tasted like a coles deli one. wasnt happy at all

We had a family dinner here and not only were the kids happy but the service was 5 stars! Anything we asked for wasn’t a problem. A real pleasure

Very kids friendly and decent Italian food. The pizzas were alright, not amazing but enjoyable. The kids meals are very generous in size, and has healthy options of pasta and steamed veg. The lasagna was fantastic. Creamy and full of flavour. Go there if you’re travelling with kids and after a solid meal that won’t break the bank.

Probably wouldn’t recommend this place again. Our la porchetta was shut down in Loganholme a few years back and when we noticed they had one in surfers we were excited to try again. Food was very underwhelming I ordered the kids chicken bites assuming it was nuggets for my son and it came out as grilled chicken fillets, pasta tasted great as we ordered the carbonara but the size portion was not the same as what we would order from Loganholme so left feeling hungry still. Was a bit confused as we use to order a starter which was a garlic pizza but couldn’t find on the menu. Otherwise though staff was great and polite and quick service but for the value of the money we paid was not worth it at all

Food was average, service was horrible. We were left unattended for 20 minutes in the heat without being offered any water. Eventually a lady took our orders including mains, entrees and finally drinks. Our drinks took way to long to come out, especially considering the restaurant was not at all busy. Our mains and entrees came out at the same time and we were provided no cutlery until having to ask. The food was very oily but very bland. We were offered cracked pepper which we agreed to but were not given until we had to ask where it was 10 minutes later. When paying the lady who served us was very very rude. We definitely won’t come back here.

Popped in for a pizza, have eaten here before but under another name? It was a pleasant surprise that the quality and taste hadnt changed. I enjoyed the pizza 'the super special'. The right amount of toppings, wife had a special order which was correctly done.<br/>Overall happy to come back.

I have eaten at La Porchetta Auckland Viaduct so I have a reference point.<br/>I was promised a mushroom and chicken Risotto that would be rich and creamy. I got a risotto that was stodgy ,very oily, dry chicken pieces and awful . Me to waitress , plate minus a couple of forkfulls, " that was horrible". Waitress " ok".<br/>Me to lady maître " that was the worst risotto I have ever had ". Lady "ok". :(.<br/>No apology, no offer for refund. In fact the owner/ manager was only too happy to get us away and get someone else seated.<br/>To add insult to injury by the time I got back to apartment I add the runs and spent some time there.<br/>Bad finish to my holiday, gluggy, horrible risotto. Horrible PR. Sadly I will not go to any La Porchetta any where. <br/>Oh , and I had to pay 15% surcharge on top of that.

La Porschetta is a very nice little Italian restaurant by the road side serving some great Pizza's and Pasta's. It is very simple in its appearance with nothing much on the interiors and there is just a few plastic chairs and tables underneath a roof. The place also has a small seating space inside.<br/><br/>It feels like a perfect getaway spot to gorge on some tantalising Italian food while shopping by the wayside. We ordered for a pumpkin based salad, veg pizza and a gnocci with pesto sauce and all of them turned out to be pretty sumptuous.<br/><br/>The salad was well tossed up with leafy veggies to go along with pieces of pumpkin and balls of cheese. The veg pizza was a lovely thin crust one with veggies nicely spread across. The Gnocci was another good dish to round off proceedings with the chewy potatoes floating around a lovely aromatic pesto sauce with herbs added on.<br/><br/>The service was fairly quick and the rates seemed reasonably nominal. A pretty nice place to have an easy laidback Italian meal.

Nice little Italian restaurant ! My sister-in-law got a gluten free pizza and she said it was pretty good. The salt and pepper squid was really nice and the pizza was delicious. The Caesar salad could have been bigger, lucky I was sharing the food because if I just got the salad by myself it definitely wouldn't have filled me up.

Ordered the pasta special with a garlic, basil and cherry tomatoes. Completely drenched in oil. Woken up now with gastro. 1+1= ? There are many places to choose from in surfers so maybe give that a go first.

La porchetta is located at the famous surfers paradice . Frankly , its a food lover's paradice too. <br/><br/>We were there at around lunch time and we started off with a couple of peronis , then had a mushroom rissotto and garlic bread. <br/><br/>All of it was good. We ll visit again. <br/><br/>We obviously had a great time :D<br/><br/>We had a great time :D

Decent feed when out with kids. Good dependable chain. Kids always happy with the kids meal, good serving size and ice cream to end. For the adults good range of pasta, pizza and mains.

Long Wait, Average Food.. We had dropped into the Gold Coast for lunch with friends, we were on a tight schedule so it was quite frustrating having to wait such a ridiculous amount of time. After waiting around 15 minutes just for the menu, we ordered. Funnily enough, about 30 minutes later a waitress came and told us that a dish my sister ordered was not available! After reordering and waiting another 50 or so minutes, our food finally arrived; before noticing a table that ordered 15 minutes AFTER us had recieved their meal well before ours. The lasagne I had ordered was extremely average, definitely not worth waiting all that time for. We had been to the same restaurant twice in Broadbeach, and I must say the speed of service and food was much nicer than the restaurant in Surfers Paradise. Will be steering well and clear from this one next time.

Very busy night in Surfers, so went to one of my fav "Bistro" chains. This rates very high on my LaPorchetta list. Staff are friendly, service super quick, & food good quality & taste. Had the original porchetta pizza & laporchetta special pizza. Recommend

Service was great, food delicious, I had the smoked salmon salad - serving was huge. Kids had spaghetti which was just as tasty. Others at our table had mushroom pasta, meat lovers pizza and were very impressed with the meal!

We had lunch here using the lunch time specials. I had the chicken schnitzel and my husband had the chicken parmigiana. Both meals were nice but not as good as broadbeach. But the waiter was very friendly and had a good chat with us

My meal arrived then 20 mins later my husbands and daughters meal arrived and the kids meal was wrong and had to be sent back...since when does a kids meal arrive last anyway?? My pizza was inedible, huge unappetizing chunks of raw zucchini and half mushrooms all over, little tomato, cheese and no eggplant or artichoke in sight. Over priced and poor service. Luckily hubby's parmigiana was tasty and value for money otherwise we all would have left hungry!

Kid friendly. A couple of weeks ago while on holiday in Qld we had dinner at LaPorchetta. It was quick and easy. the prices were very reasonable. The calamari salad was very nice and fresh and the kids pizzas were a good size and fresh. We would definitely go back again.

Pizza was excellent value for money in terms of serving size and taste. Service was average.

Bad Service. Meal didn't arrive, milkshakes hot , other meal was wrong meal and pizza had wrong topping,iced coffee ordered but was actually iced choc. When paying big grey headed guy told us YOU EAT YOU PAY didn't even listen to us couldn't care less.

Pizza is beautiful and the salad is fresh and great. Pasta and rissotto is dog vomit with 2 liters of oil
