Well .... $35 for lunch does it worth ?? We went lunch time and ordered Wagyu set .. 1 HOUR limit buffet it's ok ... enough time for lunch .. food service was fast and friendly staff ... but the food was questionable .... The qulaty of Wagyu was so ..so ... in the menu it looks fresh and big size cut .. but it came out all small and already marinade... and taste was not fresh ... Looked like lot of options in the menu but ... only salad stuff ok .... I prefer go Korean BBQ buffet instead, (like go-ha in spendlove ave) more choices , fresh , and only $30 ...

Highly recommend the deep fried oysters and Bangalore pork katsudon! I know it’s a place for people that want a BBQ style meal but we were very impressed by these two dishes. The other two are the Kyoto bento and another ramen (I think it was tonkotsu-soy).

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We booked a table with friends and ordered BBQ, which you cook yourselves. Great experience!

It's been my favorite Japanese restaurant on the coast since I first moved here. Great BBQ and best beef ramen for lunch in good price. Never a disappointment! Unfortunately, it's closed permanently due to the Covid hit. Hope everything is going to be fine.

Amazing quality and amazing food ate until I dropped

This is a great lunch spot in Southport! Dine in or take away I have never been disappointed. Of course, it is Japanese cuisine like chicken rice bowls, noodles etc. Cash only at lunch time ($10 EFTPOS minimum for dinner). Usually lots of people dining in. Friendly staff and affordable meals!

haven't been here for months, was regular happy customer since they open in Southport. This month come with friends to celebrate, we've ordered the most expensive buffet (I always order this before), the restaurant is only half full. You eat a buffet but they make you wait for food, and they give you a 1.5hr time limit. We ordered food 10mins ahead, and still have to wait (nothing to eat kind of wait). Also, the food quality is poor. We all know what wagyu beef and salmon sashimi should be, if you use cheap staff, don't be so obvious please. all of us come back home with an upset stomach. The service, struggling to find a staff in a half full restaurant, well done you guys.

A little jam packed, especially when other customers are consuming the bbq'a you really get a woff off the other tables. Aside from that, I quite liked the dining experience, staffs we're quite efficient and food quiality was quite nice! I ordered the aburi salmon :)

Big smiles and loud welcoming as soon as you walk in! This is one of my favourite Japanese spots to eat for dinner any night of the week... I always order the bbq buffet menu which is such good value for what you can get! Seriously all you can eat marinated meats, ox tongue and chicken karaage!!! + prawns and cheese kabana all that you can cook up on the bbq. Heaps of side dishes as well as free self serve miso soup too! Make sure you make a booking as they are always really packed out during peak dinner time and if you want to order the bbq buffet make sure you arrive by 7:30pm as they take last orders by like 8:30pm. Definitely a cool spot to check out!
