Review Paradise Point Chinese Restaurant - Gold Coast

this food is putrid, absurdly disgusting and frankly inedible. cigarette butt really seems to be the main taste and ingredient!! to add to this the food was raw and presented worse. Service is appalling, staff are sloppy and no uniform, the waiters are rude and snobby. Interior very dated, bathroom unhygienic, whole place dirty. Definitely won’t be coming back awful dining experience, especially being so local. rate this place below zero. extremely disgusted.

Just ordered via Uber Eats, waited nearly an hour (understand if they are busy), get the food to find out that I can't eat the fried rice because it has prawns in it when I specifically requested "No prawns" when I ordered due to severe allergies!! You need to take the time to read the notes as these are life threatening situations you put people in to if you don't!! I won't be back...what a waste of money and food!!

I had the most delicious meat I've ever eaten.. salt and pepper pork omg it was good. I've eaten in a couple of times and had takeaway from this restaurant and the food is very good and the staff are friendly and efficient.

Previous meal we had was brilliant, tonight's, a lot to be desired. Very, very disappointing. Must have had a new chef .... Won't be going back.

The food here is really nice but I can't say the same for the service - you get served by two moody teenage girls who seem to be more interested in standing behind the counter talking to themselves or they have their eyes glued to their phone than actually doing their job. Not a good look. 😕 Hence my 3 star rating.

We heard it was a good place to eat. The food was... nice. Flavours were as to be expected as a minimum but were expecting more. However the service was terrible. 15 minutes after being seated, I had to go to the front counter where I interrupted the three waitresses from their conversation saying "I would like to order now" Order taken, food was promptly delivered and plates dropped onto the table. Fried rice came first and then we waited two minutes for the main dishes to arrive. Will have to think hard if we are coming back.

Food was amazing, waiters were very happy and cheerful, you can tell they're really happy working there and the service is great, as long as you're happy to wait a bit on a busy Saturday night, you will love the food. Ordered special fried rice and pork in Peking sauce, highly recommended the pork, waitress were really helpful when deciding our meals and were quick to take care of us despite the rush hour.

This restaurant was closed and not open as per Google's information. Tried to call and there was no answer. There were boxes of products that had been delivered but not taken inside. I hope all is ok with this restaurant. It was lunch time on a Wednesday, so not sure if they usually open at that time.

We ordered a take away from Panda Palace as it was local and we had never been there before. Firstly, the only online presence I could find was a Facebook page - with bad spelling - and no menu. Luckily someone had uploaded a partial menu this site so at least we had some idea of what we could order. The service over the phone and on pick-up at the Panda Palace was great. Friendly, quick and efficient, but unfortunately the food does not match the service. The food was tasteless and dry. The crispy roast duck was not only full of bones and hardly any meat, it also wasn't crispy, and it also had a smell of re-used stale oil which was not very appetising. The fried rice was average, but again, needed more taste, and the cashew chicken was dry with no taste and no sauce. Extremely disappointing all round and we would not buy from there again.

Dined in here last weekend. Food was quick to come out and the sweet and sour pork was amazing, very tender. Service was okay. Going to eat it for dinner tonight!

The waitresses weren't professional and didn't know what they were doing, except the older chinese lady, she was good. Honey chicken tasted like nugget meat, very expensive for small portion.

Worst Chinese food I've ever tasted on the coast. Ordered takeaway vegetable chow mein (advertises vegetarian food) and vegetarian fried rice. Tasteless. Lightly steamed vegetables with soft noodle. No flavour. Must have forgot the sauce or condiments.

Worst restaurant meal we have had.. dry, tastless, vegetables seemed old. Felt completely ripped off.. a real wham bam thankyou mam experience

Ordered some vegetarian Spring rolls and vegetable chow mien for takeaway. It was quick and well priced. A little lacking in salt for the chow mien, but I'm sure it would be good for someone on a low sodium diet. Decent food.
