Apologies for the public review but couldn't find anyway of private messaging to give feedback.
Under new management, sorry but was fairly ordinary,
we hoped it was going to be really good.
$10 of chips used to feed a family of 4 with left overs and were always cooked really nicely.
Now a large serve of chips, $10 did not even feed 2 people and they tasted dry, like they had been cooked earlier and then reheated, I'm sorry but they were quite awful.
Disappointing and unfortunately we will not be returning after being loyal customers for serval years.

Service was good however the food has lost the old style takeaway feel it once had. The batter was thin and tasteless, everything was smaller and the chips were not crisp and fresh (they were rubbery and had a seafood flavour, like they were reheated). Everything was packaged in together in a massive lump leaving the fish (with a thin layer of batter) broken apart. One of the last truly old-fashioned takeaway shops now gone.

IV been going here for 17 yrs .after Gavin passed this place gone down with multiple different owners.the new owner. Is a balding man is a very rude person & looks like he don't really want too be there.. seems quite moody ...my suggestion put 1 of the other staff there and put him on fryers out back .better customer service ...chip quantity is small and expensive.old owners we paid $5 got double amount chips ..food for thought always better to be cheaper and sell more..old school isn't this shop anymore

Forget the fish and chips..... I had the juiciest bloody burger I've ever bloody had. Absolute knock oChips were bloody lovely too. We needed this joint. I'll be back, nice couple that owns it too, down to earth

Had great fish and chips on Good Friday - fresh fish and prawns and a very generous serving of chips. The batter on the fish was just right, not too thick at all!
