Review Silvers Place Thai Restaurant - Gold Coast

This place is my must go in GC. However my last visit wasn’t that impressive. The fish is much smaller also not as soft , juicy like it used to be. You can see in the photo is same length but much narrow fillet. Also fish taste like unfrozen product. Crab expensive but very waterish, feel like soak in water for a better selling price. Also crab is not that fat, you can see gap in the shell. Lift up the game please.

Great selection of Seafood. Our lunch of Oyster, Spanner Crabs and Prawns were very enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Long time fan of Charis. Decent quality seafood at a reasonable price. I typically grab a dozen or two of their fresh oysters (this time we got pacific and Tasmanian) with a few wedges of lemon and sit outside on one of the benches to devour them.

Ordered sea perch and small chips $15.50. What a joke! Fish was battered and overcooked Chips were overcooked The meal even came with two green chips Have a look inside the box before leaving the store would be the best way before taking home That’s the last time I will be going to Charis Seafoods

Charis Seafoods has a huge selection. Staff always obliging. Great location on the water with park and swimming bay outside and toilets etc. Seafood always fresh and tastes great.

It was a joke that we drove an hour journey for the booking in a restaurant last Saturday but the restaurant was closed by landlord. We felt so hungry so went to the next door and had the Thai dinner. There was absolutely no regret to change the mind because food at this restaurant really delivered the Thai taste. Ordered the Soft Shell Crab (just one piece) and the Fish cakes for entrée. Both of them were only average. When the main came to the table, particularly the Tom Sab (Hot & Sour Pork Rib Soup), the steam-boat presentation deserved thumb-up and so was the taste. Duck with Red curry came in reasonable portion and the curry sauce was perfectly matched with the spicy seafood fried rice. Well, it was a luck to miss the pizza shop and experienced a good local Thai restaurant in Labrador. Nearly forgot to mention, the service is very friendly and sincere, so give it a go mate!

Jon and Tuk Brady are well known to the Gold Coast dining public. The couple had won many awards at their well-known Thai restaurant, Kin Kao: Best Thai and Best BYO on the Gold Coast for consecutive years, as well as contender for Best BYO in Australia. Tuk’s aromatic Thai food and Jon’s hospitable service gained them a loyal following of local patrons.

We have just been to at Thai on frank and we were very happy with the overall result.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming to us. We didn't make a book in, but they were more than happy to have us there.

Our weightier was, friendly and quick to serve us, which we loved.
The first thing that I noticed about our meal was the COLOUR so bright and fresh!!! And the crunch of the vegetables said it all. We ordered the chicken curry and it smelt and tasted fantastic, it was mild but you could taste the flavours in it, which was lovely. We also ordered the pork belly and beef fried rice, the pork was tender and the crackle was crunchy, but not at all chewy and there was hardly any fat on the pork, but there was alot of meat 😊 it really was delicious.
Our fried rice, was moist, tasty and bright in colour, you could tell the food was local and fresh.
We had such a lovely dinner here, and we would recommend at Thai on frank to anyone who wants to have a nice family night out, with good food, a great atmosphere and really good prices.
Thanks again 😊

My first time At Thai on Frank, the decor and feel of the restaurant was fresh and relaxed. I dined with my family who all enjoyed the beautiful fresh food we were served. We shared a red duck curry and the pork belly special with a chicken stir-fry with cashew nuts for my Mum (no spice). Service was prompt and understanding, when we took so long to decide on what to have! I'll definitely be heading back for more :)

Traditional Thai restaurant, well priced with delicious meals and polite staff. Cheaper lunch menu and will be definitely worth a return visit.
