Review Bay Salt Cafe - Gold Coast

I don’t give five stars to most places I visit, but the service and food at Salt is one of those exceptionally easy and comfortable decisions. The staff were attentive and friendly with us being greeted and shown our table promptly. Lunch for two was delicious and all at fair prices. The King Prawn salad was exceptional and the Salmon perfect. Our meals were quick, fresh and full of flavours you can dream of. The cappuccino after lunch was tasty and robust with the overall experience impressive and a sure place to return to as often as we can.

We had good breakfast at Salt Cafe. Nice environment, friendly staffs and good food. Location is very convenient in the Brickworks shopping complex. Happy to come back.

The food and drinks were really good! 😍 But hopefully they will remove that big umbrella that they put outdoors because I was accidentally hit by it. I’m okay no one’s fault it’s just the heavy wind that time. 05/02/2022

Great Food and a lot of variety. This place offeres All Day Breakfast and Lunch. The food tastes great and has little sides that compliments the whole dish.

Had coffee and Pecan pie waiting for optometrist appt. Coffee was fine but a little on the cold side..asked for a shot of hot milk... Was surprised that they made another cup from scratch. Great customer service... Also free glass of cold water served and refilled by attentive staff.

Food was below average and considering the price we paid for it, was a $10 quality meal not a $20 meal bacon dry and over cooked hash browns were straight from McDonald’s eggs undercooked whites still runny. The man wasnt very friendly not someone you would want front of house to top it off we were overcharged by 20% do not recommend this place for Breakfast better off with a McDonald’s breakfast.

We had a delicious lunch at this cafe. The location is very convenient if you would like to do some additional shopping in the area: TkMaxx, homeware, chemist, deli, hair salon, skin care and other small/large boutique shops. The cafe itself is large and has indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is very friendly and the meals were delicious. (Stars given: 5) Edit: we visited this place again this time for breakfast. Unfortunately, it did not fulfil our expectations. My coffee was not hot enough. I had asked for my poached eggs to be runny yolk, but well done/firm egg white. Unfortunately, the egg white still had very jelly-like consistency. The avocados were somewhat oxidised already, which was a shame. The onions in the Shashuka were unfortunately still raw. Nonetheless, the service and staff members very friendly. (Stars given: 3)
