Your at an airport people expect fast food before there flight

Having had very nice food in Sydney hours before my wife and I arrived here on September 22, 2018, the stuff here was pretty ordinary. However, it was nice to try our first meal ever in Gold Coast and the sitting inside the Airport was relaxing. Furthermore, the Coast welcomed us with blue sky and our objective of coming here was not for the roosters!

It's a fast food joint catering to fried chicken based food at the airport Comes fast, come mes hot, has the same taste as outside, and airport rates... Can't really fault it for that now.

Stood in line for around 10 minutes for your 1 cashier to serve me. Never got served. Left, lined up to get food elsewhere and when I walked past to get to my gate the guy Infront of me was FINALLY getting served. He was second in line when I left

Ordered a flavoured wrap got home and it had no chicken. wrote through an email of my disappointed and received an email saying this problem has been resolved...... Interesting as there was no apology. Fast food you get what you pay for but I still wanted chicken on my wrap.

Far to slow for an airport, took over half an hour to order and get my meal.

Half chicken meal chips changed to coleslaw, as you can see the coleslaw consisted of dried veggies with a huge dollop of mayonnaise. The chicken was quite tender

In for a quick meal, a simple rooster roll combo. The server was good and handled the customers really well, efficiently and with a friendly smile. It's hard to judge fast food as usually on par with any other visit. My chips were fine and as expected but my roll was not. Half the filling was in the bag and it was so fatty and it was difficult to eat what looked like a soggy roll.

Service was slow and a bit all over the place. Chips were undercooked and lacked salt. Chicken strips in the Flayva Wrap were not crispy. I normally love Red Rooster, but this was disappointing.

Never had red rooster before, with time before my flight I thought I sill try it's "new" snack of 6 pieces of chicken wings for $9, inclusive of sauce <br/><br/>It was quite shocking in two ways:<br/>1) 5 out of 6 pieces were the drumstick part of a wing<br/>2) some of the pieces were so small it's unbelievable such small chicken were chopped up<br/><br/><br/>The positive: cook to order which means it's freshly hot. Please just allow time you don't wanna be late for your flight.
