Review Caloundra Power Boat Club - Golden Beach

Lunch outing - big disappointment. The welcoming and greeting was great. The view - overlooking the beautiful Pumicestone Passage was very nice. Ordered Garlic Bread and two so called "Toppers" - Quaterdeck Calamari and Creamy Garlic Prawns. Bread - two thin slices - cold $ 6.00 Calamari - not crispy - oily - $ 10.00 Prawns - 3 prawns with a watery supposed to be Garlic sauce $ 13.00 - overpriced. The fish of the day - Oven backed Coral Trout - with cold chips and salad and house tartare $ 24.00 was not what one would expect for that price. A very small piece of oily fish. Staff was very friendly and the beer was cold. Rather disappointing because the view was magic.

We had two delicious meals here this week: oven-baked red spot emperor and salt and pepper calamari. The staff are always friendly and efficient and the prices are reasonable.

Faboulous view. Plenty of parking available or arrive by boat. Delicious food. Good prices. Friendly staff. Our group enjoyed lunch at Caloundra Powerboat Club and we'll be back.

Love this club & its location, staff are well mannered also. We love it, the Only disappointment is cocktail taste varies depending who’s made it (recipes should be the same) & the prawns went from amazing local Mooloolaba prawns 12 mnths ago to very disappointing the last 6mths, even taste like they’ve been sitting in salty water to try & revamp old ones ..... what happened???

Good club right on beach at Golden Beach Caloundra, I would like to add the steak was cooked perfect and the wife has the garlic prawns which were beautiful also,

First time to visit, private function, 70 people for lunch, birthday for 80 year old friend. Facilities were excellent, service was very efficient, food was in servers which kept food hot, salads were very fresh. Drink waiter and servers were polite and efficient. The venue was perfect being upstairs, and the view was fantastic. Will consider using this facility in the future, for family and friends venue.

First time here. Meals were great Nuce astomphere in the club would like to go back there soon.

It has a lovely function room 4 wedding beautiful view the staff lovely food we had nibbly not a sit down but it was yummy

The lady at the information centre recommended it for the food and the view, and we are glad we followed the advice. Lovely friendly staff at reception who advised us that we could get a wheelie walker through to the verandah. The view on the verandah looked straight onto pumistone passage. Food was delicious from the restaurant: minute steak, salt and pepper calamari and perfect fries! We will definitely be making the drive out here again!!!

Enjoyed a beautiful breakfast on Mothers Day, with my Mum and two friends. There was a nice variety of dishes, suited Gluten Free and Vegetarian alike. Well cooked and presented with cheerful staff....a nice conbination. Great coffee also well catered for lactose free and soy milks. Thanks for a lovely start to this special day.

A visit to the Sunshine Coast would not be complete without a visit to the Power Boat Club for lunch or dinner. The food is excellent and the staff so very friendly. After many visits we decided that it was about time we became members.

Great spot for good food and child friendly-staff were very attentive and averted disaster with colouring in options

Last night was the first time we have had dinner at the Club and we were very impressed. Definitely great food, great prices and happy helpful staff

I went to Christmas in July Yesterday..had not been before.and was so loving every aspect of the place.�����Food..entertainment..and so close to the water.

Fantastic meal and very reasonably priced, the staff were brillisnt and so very friendly. We will definitely be back

enjoyable evening catching up with an old mate . they had the pad thai which was outstanding i had a seafood platter which yes was crumbed .was ok but would have prefered some battered peices. nice reception from staff loved the raffles and enjoyed a win on the pokies. will be back and become a member. cheers

We eat here a lot! Good choice of meals and always yummy. I can be a bit fussy, but they always cater to my needs. Staff are always lovely.

So disappointed to see this club introduce plastic cups for water consumption. Globally we should be trying to reduce plastic consumption. Until recently, glasses were available. ????

Been to Caloundra a few times on holiday never new about it the resort told us about it went yesterday was lovely when I come back I will visit again
