Review Copper Spoon Thai Restaurant And Bar - Golden Beach

My partner and I went there for dinner when we were staying in Ramada Resort by Wyndham Golden Beach as we’re offered a 10% discount coupon for dining in this restaurant. We ordered the salt and pepper calamari as an entree, green curry duck, Choo Chee Jumbo Prawns and some rice as our main. We had to wait for a bit of time for the food, but all came at the same time. It’s not an issue to us if the food could be kept warm enough, but it’s not. The prawns especially cooled down so quickly that it’s lost the actual flavour. So remind the staffs(we did actually) to serve the entree first and then your mains. Beside that, the staffs are friendly and attentive and the food was good.

Staff were friendly and smiling. I had kaho soi beef(may have spelt that wrong) see pic. It was yummy. Beef was falling apart and curry was delicious. My partner enjoyed his coconut soup with seafood. For entree I had some veg curry puffs. Not much curry flavour but very nice. We also got fish cakes. I've only had one lot of fish cakes that I really enjoyed at a place that no longer sells them. These fish cakes tasted like fish but nothing special. Will definitely make the effort to go back again. Price was also good.

We (12 people) went there for dinner to celebrate a birthday of a family member. We ordered various dishes and food was tasty. The issue we had was only a part of the order was served within a reasonable time but two simple dishes (2 fried rice dishes) took about 30+ minutes to arrive the table and there was no apology.

Very nice Thai food. Authentic cuisine and very tasty with certain dishes you can't commonly get elsewhere. The whole fried fish is a standout.

Very disappointed with this expensive food. The quality and flavor was very poor Thai food, extremely salty and the prawns served were green, wasn't game to eat it !! I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all I'd give a 0 zero if able..😳😳

We were walked ins, and were seated immediately and the service was quick, the staff friendly. The food could not be faulted.. absolutely delicious!! The male owner/manager was very professional and had his "finger on the pulse" of every aspect. Everything was clean. We will definitely return on our next visit. On street Parking was easy at night

Ideal comfort Thai food. The only restaurant at the local hotel. Food was tasty, but it did need a bit more seasoning to be perfect. The Per Person menu is just the right amount of food for a reasonable person. Only issue we had was that it took about 2hrs to finish a 2 Person sitting. Especially true as it took about 40 minutes from finishing the entrees to getting our mains. Staff seemed a bit overworked and such service did suffer. Though all the staff were nice. A little niggle point is that the crackers had to be paid for where even cheaper places give them away for free (first bowl worth) or as part of the set menu. Otherwise we weren't upset and the food was very tasty, if a little under seasoned.

Nice ambience and friendly waiter, but be prepared to wait over an hour for your meal. We came at 12.15, ordered soon after and waited until 1.30 to receive our meal. We ordered the tamarind sauce fried snapper, but the fish that came was a barramundi (again an hour after we placed the order). The waiter was apologetic and slightly discount the fish (ended up charging $30 for fish dish). The flavours of the pad Thai was great and the sauce for the fish lovely, but just be prepared to wait 1hour for your food. The waiter has the job of sole waiter for all the tables, taking phone orders and also the one behind the bar. He is polite, but the lack of staff just means things are slow. Wont be coming back.
