I had been hanging to go here for ages! And I was not disappointed at all!
We were greeted warmly and seated straight away.
The fried chicken is the best chicken I have ever put in my mouth - packed full of flavour, had an awesome crunch and was tender and juicy. The buffalo sauce was so good too.
My partner has the fried chicken sandwich which was just as amazing - the chicken again perfect and the salad and bun were lovely and fresh.
I had the brisket which was tender and had a great smoke. Also had some pulled pork too which was just as tender and tasty!
I couldn’t help myself when ordering and just to add to the gluttony I got the Mac and cheese. It was smooth and super tasty and the crumbs on top were so good!
When leaving everyone made sure we enjoyed our meal which was great.
So if you want amazing customer service, wicked chicken, awesome smoked meats with great sides - this is a great place to go!

The restaurant felt really warm and homely.
I couldn’t have had a better to beginning to our first date night in a couple of years!
Best brisket, best ribs, best pulled beef, pulled pork and baked beans ever ... AND the deep fried pickles! And the warm potato salad!! The coleslaw, the bbq'd corn and mac 'n cheese!! OMG just go and get fed. Too good for words... and the staff are just so friendly. Going to The Pickle always makes me happy!! 😁
Absolutely awesome food, staff, atmosphere, would definitely recommend this American style food restaurant.. we were visiting from The Gold Coast & Sneaky Pickle was recommended to us by numerous friends and it lived up to the hype.. we will be back again
Had a wonderful night with the most amazing meat that melted in your mouth, with a fantastic smokey flavor. I have never ever tasted corn so good. Wonderful salads with a great atmosphere. I can not forget the staff. Very friendly with efficient and smiling face staff. Compliments to the chief.
This place is unbelievable. Within 5 to 10 minutes of ordering, out comes the chicken wings and fried chicken. Fried chicken is amazing, so tender and juicy with crunchy crispy coating. We also had the brisket which melted in the mouth, hot links were smokey with a nice bit of heat, excellent. Everything we had was spot on. Great friendly service too. Can't wait to go back.
Arrived to be greeted by “Welome to the pickle”. After waiting for only a few minutes we were led to a booth and the menu and drinks list explained.You order at the bar which is overlooked by an imposing Deers head! The place was buzzing and it was supposedly a quiet night! Whilst waiting for my half rack of pork ribs which were so meaty and tasty I tried a Brooklyn Lager , also great! A side dish of slaw was a perfect match for the ribs and my husband really enjoyed his Brisket sandwich and a Bud! We will definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu!
The brisket was the best meat I've ever eaten and the hospitality was absolutely amazing. They were very busy and all the staff, especially the owner, were going above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. Such an enjoyable dinner and their hoodies are awesome 😁
Came here last night with our 2 year old who has developmental delay and wouldn't have been able to sit in booth easily so they accommodated us with a chAir on end and we bought our booster seat in that attaches to chairs
Food = amazing!! Special of burnt ends this week were just like heaven
And we got the share plate which was a bit of most things on the menu
Our 2 yr old devoured the meat and pulled pork he wasn't overly keen on mac cheese tonight ( however was nice )
If u want to come try true American barbecue you need to come here get in early tho ( like opening ) as does get busy fast!
If u want an idea of American barbecue watch a few episodes of man v food and it'll get your mouth watering for it!

Seriously such an incredible place. Ordered take away after being there a few times to eat in, and they have to be the only place in South Australia that does such beautiful tasty chilli cheese fries. Amazing meat, amazing service for such a busy venue. ��
Time and again we marvel at just how good this place is. The food is always amazing, it's delivered almost before you sit down after ordering, and the staff are amazing. They always remember us, and make us feel so welcome. The specials are always fantastic, but it's the brisket that gets me every time. Superb.
Some people judge a place on its authenticity to American style BBQ. For anyone who knows BBQ, you'll know there is no such thing. BBQ differs in every US state, and even within.
The Sneaky Pickle should be judged on its uniqueness. It draws from the various smoking techniques and delivers an identity all to its own while maintaining a truth to its genre roots.
If you're new to this style of food, know that your getting the real deal. Food cooked from passion.

Oh, that brisket was so damn succulent! Can't wait to be back again ;)) Staff is very helpful and the restaurant is pretty cool! Hot link sausages were to die for.
Good service. Staff are friendly. The pork ribs were on the peppery side. Drinks available are fun and different. The burgers are generous. Definitely an unsuspecting joint from outside...which works to make it fun! Very nice place to go with friends. Washroom facilities are well fitted and they offer a good sized sink for washing up the greasy mess you make.
Absolutely best American BBQ food in Adelaide. Meat is so tender it literally Falls off the Bone/Fork. And the house made BBQ sauce is amazing! Hoping they bottle that magic. The decor is funky and the staff so friendly! Tops a awesome night. Oh and nice beer selection to go with the top notch food.
Seven of us enjoyed some really nice food. We covered most of the menu and no one had anything bad to say. Not much of a wine menu, but there was a big range of imported beers. Even the fried pickle was nice!

The staff are always amazing, the BBQ is equal best I've had in Australia and the bar has a great little select of USA microbrews (no coffee though). The only critique I have is the sides are (on my opinion) sub-standard. I'm not sure if the awesomeness of the BBQ has made me too critical of the sides but yeah I feel like I've had better at just about every BBQ place I've been too.
N.B They do a special dessert each night and it's always good but the apple pie was next level. I had it in 2017 and I can still remember what it looked and tasted like as if it were yesterday.
We threw a surprised birthday party here last night. The food - pulled pork, BBQ ribs, sausages, corn bread, beef brisket, pickles etc were so delicious that we really enjoyed ourselves here. Love the atmosphere here with great and friendly staff services.
Will certainly come back again.

Food came out quickly and was all very tasty, staff were friendly.
Have a few beers and spirits to choose from but limited apart from that also was pretty hot inside, not sure if its from the kitchen or no aircon.
Overall would go back for the food, the Cowboy Feast is the way to go you get a bit of everything for $36!
The deepfried pickles with ranch are amazing, as are the ribs and the pulled pork.
Good was pretty good. Good range of beers & good service.
It may have just been their style but the bbq meats (briskit) was lacking a bit of flavour...in my opinion... Super tender & juicy meats but maybe some different seasonings or rubs. Not a criticism.. just an opinion. Fried chicken was Great! Enjoyed the tacos.. the Mac & cheese...I smashed it. Will go back.
There are pros and cons to here.
Pros: are that the place is cosy and appealing. The staff are awesome and friendly and helpful. The brisket was lovely and tender. The best part of the meal was the bbq sauces on the table, so tasty. The corn bead mixed with cheese and jalapeño was a bit different with a nice warming afterwards flavour.
Cons: the size of the servings was a little shocking, I was glad I ordered the fries also with the brisket. Eating slow to savour the Flickr is need or it all disappears too quick to enjoy the atmosphere.
