Love this place! We drive 40 minutes and wait 40 minutes for a table. So worth it! The owner is super upbeat and friendly and makes you feel so welcome. Good gluten free options too. Fantastic range of cool teas as well!

First time I came here tonight and I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Food and service was phenomenal!
Love this place. Friendly staff, interesting (and yet tasty) dessert recipes, vegan options and all-round great service! I recommend this place to many people. The only criticism I have is the waiting (to get inside) can be a bit off-putting particularly on cold nights. However, I do understand you're only a small cafe though so this is a tough issue to solve.
Never been disappointed by Eggless's menu or staff. Everyone is lovely and the food is always amazing <3
Enjoying this place! Such a happy vibe! Great desserts and awesome waitresses!! It’s a must try!!!
Highly recommended, the owner is more than friendly, love the way he welcomes and talks to all the customers. Definitely will bring more friends here to enjoy the weekend. Keep this great service plz. It’s hard to find a place like this in Adelaide.
Best dessert place in adelaide, can't wait for the next menu 👌🏻☺️Really friendly staff 😉
Best place for desserts and fist bumps.
Always worth the wait.
Scrumptious!!! Absolutely loved the selection of the desserts they had ! We have been coming for years! Never once disappointed, great dessert, great service too!!!!!!
We had dinner nearby and decided to try Eggless Dessert Cafe for dessert. What a brilliant idea. I ordered the vanilla and fig cake and it was everything I hoped it would be. Very light and moist and the figs and ice cream that were with it were a perfect accompaniment. The other ladies all thoroughly enjoyed their orders and we will all be definitely returning soon. The prices were really good as well. The food came out quickly and the atmosphere was lovely. Thank you
This place rocks, head waiter is classic. Will return for sure, awesome food.

Lovely, friendly staff, and a frequently changing (yet tantalisingly delicious) menu! Eggless has a beautiful atmosphere, and I have been a loyal customer for 6 years. I can definitely recommend a dessert (or two) there.
nice food and owner, he is always friendly
Great service. Frequent changing menu. Lots of interesting south East Asian flavours/ asian fusion flavours. Been there multiple times over the last few years and their desserts have all been above average despite changing menus almost every month! Very impressed. Definitely worth the try!
Great service and our fairy bread cheesecake was yum. Very busy and loud but a good experience anyway. Would return.
Amazing service and very warm welcome from the manager!!
Dessert was very delicious!
Definitely get the tasting platter because everything is worth trying.
Could not decide what to try when I came here so we had the tasting platter for 2. My partner and I had different opinions on which were the best.
I really liked the Pannacotta. The vanilla flavour really came through, it was super smooth and passionfruit gave it that extra flavour punch.
My partner liked the richer dessert- chocolate and salted caramel tart.
The green tea tiramisu was a light sponge. Not too sweet which was good. Gingerbread pear pudding on the other hand was considerably sweeter but not sickly. Loved the string ginger flavour.
The teh Tarik tea served hot was not really to our liking but always good to try something different.
The wait is unbearable but eventually worth it, however, I have always skipped the line and bought takeaways as am too impatient for my turn to sit at the little Cafe.
This place has beautiful desserts, along with monthly specials which are worth trying.
I would love to grab a seat one night, relax and dine in to have my dessert peacefully. The place is little loud, but hey the ambience is just amazing so can't complain. Recommended
So so so sooo good that I am waiting to go again next month. The most amazing thing about this place is the menu changes every month and they are so Innovate that you just keep on trying and never disappoint yourself. Must try for every vegetarian.
After living in Sydney for couple of months, we finally drove back to Adelaide and the first thing on our list was to finally try Eggless!
Me and my husband took two friends with us this time on our dessert evening adventure this Friday and we got there at 10. The queue was long, there were around 10ppl before us so well, we waited! HAHA
After chatting with the extremely friendly owner, we decided to try four mains (DESSERTS YAS)!!
We wanted to try out the tasting platter which has 4mini versions of their "top choices" but they....ran....out....😣
We finally got a table and the place is so homey! It was not too modern looking but it didn't look old either. It took less than 10mins to have all the orders to arrive.
After tasting all four, this is how I would personally rank it;
1. Fig & Ginger Cheesecake
Honestly, I am not a cheesecake person. BUT THIS ONE....WOW EXCEPTIONAL! Fig and ginger... mindblown. If you hate ginger, dont worry, cos I couldnt really taste it.. oh oh and the salted caramel, extraordinary. 4.5/5
2. Matcha and White chocolate tart with adzuki (red bean) ice cream.
White chocolate? Ugh not a fan. i do dark only😂 But once again, I had to admit...I loved this dish..The matcha tart was crispy and the filling was soft and indulging. Accompanied by red bean ice cream, I didnt need to go to Japan!
3. Hot Cross Apple Puffs
Doughballs with apple pieces inside, shimmered with butterscotch sauce and lemon icing. Amazing combo. it tasted like poffertjes, but bigger and thicker and better lol!
Should definitely give this a go if you can share it with someone cos these balls aint tiny my friend. I couldnt finish it alone (i dont think i eat little for a girl😢). You got 4 balls served. But, will come back for this.
4. Peach Sencha Panna Cotta.
Two words : Fresh and Light ❤
This place comes up with a new set of menu every month but you still have 4 more days to try them before its gone!!
Also, EGGLESS cos they have no eggs guys😂 for real..!
Came in on a Tuesday Night with some friends who are local, surprisingly didn't have to wait so long. We were seated almost immediately for a table of 5. I tried their Lychee Creme Brulee and it was lovely and enjoyed the lychee pieces. I also had a Moroccan Iced Tea which was perfectly sweet. Would love to see what else they have on the next menu change.
It's good ... I don't disregard it... It's a difficult task to make Asian dessert taste good and these guys have a flair for it. What I don't think is the waiting time. They don't accept bookings which makes it incredibly hard especially if you go in groups more than 4. The last time I went there it was 10pm and we still waited for 45 mins... I know they've got their ardent fans but I'm not one of them ...
First time here with a friend down from Sydney on a rainy Thursday in Adelaide.
We arrived at 8pm at night. Spot on opening time.
My friend ordered the Moroccan Cheesecake and I ordered the Roasted Green Tea and Adzuki Bean Tiramisu. We also ordered a couple of Vietnamese coffees.
Both dishes were amazing and such generous servings as well. Reasonably priced and like nothing I've had before.
Probably the only down side was the significant delay between my dessert and my friend's arriving.
Will be returning.
I came with a group of friends one night and we were all very happy with our deserts. There were quite a few 'unique' desserts on the menu so if you like trying new things definitely give this place a try. Will be coming back since they are always changing their menu.
Holy smokes the 20 minute wait was totally worth the food. The banana skewers with peanut sauce were utterly divine (it comes with pear sorbet but I can't have pears). The queue outside is comfortable they have a heater, seats with mamma knee rugs to keep warm and a copy of the menu to salivate over. Totally recommend Eggless best dessert bar ever.
As we walked up and joined the queue to get in to Eggless, wrote our names on the wait list and stood around the heater for 20min waiting for our name to be called, we wondered what all the hype around this place was?! We eventually got seated inside, perused the menu which I was happy to see had several vegan options and despite being super busy, our order was taken quickly and within 10min we had our food and drinks. We ordered banana coconut fritters with peanut sauce and pear sorbet, black sticky rice sundae, sweet iced milk tea and a chai hot choc. Everything was beautiful! The place isn't much to look at, there's cute lanterns hanging from the ceiling but other than that the decor is very simple. The service and food are what people line up for up to 45min for. They cater to everyone in the most delicious way. If we get time to go back while we are in adelaide I'd love to try the pandan sago pudding. We need an eggless in Brisbane!!
Hands down a must visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. The staff were friendly and helpful, the wait time was quite reasonable considering how busy they are, and the food was sensational. Frequent changes to the menu make return visits rewarding. If you're a fan of Vietnamese coffee, make sure you give theirs a try.
Amazingly delicious menu! Impossible to get bored of coming here with their changing menu. Fantastic vibrant service! Loved the sky juice 👌😉
Decent range of desserts and the taste is amazing but they can be slightly expensive considering the portion. The owners are friendly and do great job making the shop comfortable and welcoming.Monthly changes in their menu also keeps the experience fresh everytime you visit
If anyone is a chocolate fanatic and/or can handle a sweet punch to the calcium we use to eat, then eggless is definitely the go to place to earn the title of becoming a diabetic! Brilliant stuff!
Amazing food, amazing service. Just wish I didn't have to stand in line to eat here but I understand why! Great family business with an ever changing menu.
Has rose& sakura panna cotta , earl grey, bailey, lavender tiramisu and Pandan infused sag pudding! Theyre so delectable that i couldnt get enough of them ! However i think that the tiramisu lacks some bailey flavour
Nuttella cheseecake was lovely ! It's quite filling that I couldn't finish it. The sticky rice with grilled banana was another champ. Sakura & rose pannacotta was great too, it's soft, sweet & a little bit sour which is a great combos !
Eggless, wow. I must say, I've always been a little put off coming here because there always seems to be a line up to get a table. Honestly, it was so worth it! The wait actually wasn't long at all! Probably about 10-15 minutes? Which was nothing because we went for a little walk down the road.
The service is amazing! The gentleman who seated and served us was really quirky and cool but also polite and humble. The wait staff were very friendly too. Even though it was really busy, Eggless has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Our desserts came quite fast and they were divine. The star of the night though - the lychee, strawberry and basil house made soda. Soooo good. We will definitely be coming back!
Divine Desserts and excellent service. I had the plum & almond pudding with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. It was amazing. I had trouble deciding what to have, and the waitress explained the menu changes throughout the year so the options keep changing. One of the best dessert places I have been to in a while for value for money and quality of desserts.
Totally amazing. The staff are so nice and the atmosphere is great. We totally loved the coffee and have not found coffee that good anywhere else. Love this place.

Eggless is another one of Adelaide’s awesome dessert cafes (Canberra, please take note), and they shake things up with a new menu every month! I can’t even imagine the creativity that the team has to keep this happening year after year. So I dived right in and picked one of the January specials – the Banana, Passionfruit and Anzac Tart ($12). The tart was beautifully presented, with fresh banana piled on top, abig scoop of soy icecream (yes, that’s right, this dessert is vegan so lactose free!), drizzles of passionfruit syrup and a healthy dusting of icing sugar over the lot. Mmm. The tart shell was made of
Cute little dessert bar and our share platter was delicious! The rose water dessert was very unique and tasty and the owner was a good laught
Great dessert spot to come in late at night with friends. Very friendly atmosphere and the staff are wonderful. It's very popular and there's normally a line up or waiting list to get in, so come in early and get your name down if you can! Their menu changes every month and there's a good variety of non-asian and asian desserts and flavours. Note that every individual that comes in must order a dish. The menu is of standard dessert pricing.
Very surprised with how good vegan dessert can be. The pudding was to die for. Get in quick otherwise you'll have to wait in line. Luckily we didn't have to!
Worth the hype! We got there 15 minutes after they opened and there were only two tables open so better to go early or late. This was the first time I'd been and the food was amazing. My friend and I split the chocolate and peanut butter molten pudding and the banana and coconut bread pudding and they were both incredible! The service was also great, the staff made recommendations that were spot on for our tastes and were really attentive.
Incredibly fun place to go for a date. Ambiance is great, food changes monthly and is creative and service is always lovely. When there is a molten pudding on the menu, get it - it will be delicious! There is usually a wait but blankets are provided and the food is worth it.
Eggless is by far my favourite place in the world. The menu changes monthly and there is so much variety that I never fail to try something I can fall in love with. Have been here consistently for 5 years now and will never stop going until Ken and his wife close the store down. A wonderful dessert cafe run by a wonderful man who stepped up to allow his wife to fulfil her dreams of making desserts. I could not recommend this place enough.
The service here can't be faulted. I was delighted to be treated so comfortably on what was, my first visit to Eggless, a place that's reputation precedes it.
Scored a little table for two right up the back on a pumping Thursday night. Ordered banana dumplings & an iced chocolate.
Not completely sold by any of it, hence my rating but I KNOW I have to come back because I see so many good reviews and salivate just from reading them. Anyhow the banana dumplings were pretty savoury which paired really well with the sweetness of the syrup but maybe the dumplings were a bit too muffiny? So my expectations of what a dumpling should be maybe ruined my experience. Points because this place obviously thinks hard about the balance of its dishes because of the doughiness of the dumpling was complemented by the crunch of crushed hazelnuts and of course a bit of ice cream.
The iced choc was unremarkable, ice cream + syrup + powder.
But don't worry eggless I haven't given up on you yet. Will be back to give it a second innings.
One of the best desserts places in Adelaide. Beautifully presented and tastes delicious. We were lucky to be able to get hold of the last green tea creme brulee . The service was efficient and the owners were very friendly as well
I don't think the Eggless experience can ever be faulted. Been here a number of times and on every occasion the staff are super friendly. The January menu was Australiana inspired and we had the take on a Golden Gaytime as a cheesecake- literally SO good. The pavlova was also great, the passionfruit sorbet a stand out. Don't let the lines scare you, they have a good system and can get you in pretty quickly. If not, it's definitely well worth the wait.
Strange opening hours, but doesn't seem to make them lose any business! There's always a line out front and you put your name down on the list, but the manager was super friendly and gives you a menu while you wait so you can decide before you get a table. Really yummy drinks and desserts so come on an empty stomach and lovely service even though they're run off their feet. The vegan meringue is carbon copy. A real gem
Probably my favourite dessert cafe in Adelaide! Great friendly staff, delicious ever changing monthly-ish menu for a good price. Often a long wait so get in early! Only issue I have is whilst their coffee menu is wonderfully exotic, wouldn't mind having a good cappuccino or latte to go with my dessert!
If you can't spot the place, spot the line. There's always a line waiting to get into this lovely late night dessert place sitting just across Capri Theatre on Goodwood Road. I have been here that many times over the years that I thought I had already done a write up. The doors open at 8pm (7.30pm on Sunday) and almost instantly Eggless Dessert Cafe is packed. You write your name on the list and sit along the path outside.
Eggless is my favourite dessert spot in Adelaide. Menu changes monthly with a new flavour of waffles and tiramisu. I normally can't go past a molten pudding and chai hot chocolate. Staff and owners are lovely.
Extremely popular, no wonder we had to line up! A constantly changing menu always consists of a selection of unique and oh so delicious desserts. A huge range of coffees are also on offer. What a very talented chef! Yummmm....!!
Whilst we're not particularly dessert lovers, every now and then we feel like something sweet and when we do, we always go to Eggless. The wait has never been more than 30 minutes but the staff are so lovely they make it pass quickly. Sharing plates are always the favourite.
Bring back the creme brûlée...please!!!
This was the only place in Adelaide that made a creme so good I would drive the opposite end of town after dinner just to have some. Their other dessert offerings are unique and quite good but the creme was the best.
The lineup sucks but you can put your mobile down so at least you can sit in your car if it's cold out!
It’s favourites month at Eggless! Last month desserters got the chance to vote for their favourite ever cheesecake, tiramisu and other favourite dessert with the October menu then showcasing the most popular. Last month the Co-Pilot and I straight away jotted down the Moroccan Cheesecake, this one definitely stood out to us and to my excitement it must have been everyone else’s favourite too as it made the cut!
Was looking for a desert place one night and ran in to this one the place was packed but until I got inside I realised why. It was well decorated and even while waiting to get in the service was great staff were attentive and the menu... Oh the menu that changes every month give me a reason to come back the food was magnificent and they even catered for a indecisive person like me with a tasting plate which included the more popular deserts on the menu. The pricing is made for student so I would can be affordable by anyone looking to indulge in something yummy. Will be coming back monthly for more delicious surprises
Zomg. So much deliciousness and even a free fist pump. A bit more unique than your standard dessert fair. New menus monthly too! Should be open on Monday and Tuesday though to soothe those post weekend blues.
When you drive past a place at quarter to 8 in the evening and there is a large queue outside every night they are open – you know it’s a line worth joining. Eggless Dessert Cafe have carved themselves off a nice large slice of Adelaide’s dessert market all thanks to their hospitality, here the staff will have you feeling like regulars in no time.
I came here a while back with a friend on a Saturday night, it was quite busy so there was a brief wait for a table.
The cafe itself was nicely decorated and they had a jar of water labelled "free sky juice" which was quite funny and cute!
My friend ordered some spring rolls and a bread pudding and I ordered an apple pie. The apple pie was quite small, but I finished off my friends bread pudding as she was full, but the food was delicious & it was a good experience!
The menu changes regularly too which is encouraging to return!
Wonderful experience! Was there ten minutes before opening to ensure I got a seat. By far the most delicious dessert I've ever had. Had the dessert platter and felt like a masterchef judge tasting the four different desserts.
It's a very interesting little place with great concept. Menu changes every month so customers can always come back to check out the latest. Hay place to hang out with friends. Very great service. Desserts themselves are not too bad.
My only dessert hang out. Their menu changes monthly and it is always incredibly creative and delicious. Perhaps more importantly is just how lovely the staff are. I genuinely love coming because it is always a happy and positive experience. We love you, eggless!
A very pleasing experience from start to finish. Great attention from staff given to customers as well as great service. Good vibe and love the rugs and heaters provided whislt waiting to be seated inside. Love the desserts and wished we couldve gone here instead of going for a curry before-hand (which gave one of our party a Delhi-Belly the next day). Great tasting desserts and great staff. We may have list with the curry but won with our chouce of where to go for 'afters'. Definately worth queuing for.
Love the desserts at Eggless. I've been here regularly, and each time they never fail to impress. The service was amazing as well. I guess you can Eggless was eggcellent!
the dessert was great! the menu was quite limited but its great how they change every month, so thats a big plus!
the milk tea was amazing!
I like it, actually I really like it! It's always busy but it it's worth a visit if you haven't been before especially. A great dessert place for vegan/ vegetarian options. The sticky date pud is great!
another #tbt
this one is from the vegetarian/vegan dessert place. well, not only dessert they also have savory menu.
they are very unique because they change their menu every month. this is a very good strategy to make everyone come back to their place because people will wondering and curious about their new menu and the taste. so far, their menu never fails me :-)
one of my favorite menu is the one with 'nutella' and 'pana cotta' superb! if you are vegan / vegetarian try try try!!
Would return!. Extremely friendly staff!
The dessert menu felt like there was a Malaysian twist to it, with coconut milk, sago and even some Malaysian staples.
A great Friday night hang, though I must admit it was a little busy
Lovely place. Usually i wouldn't expect a busy place to have accommodating staff but eggless proved me wrong. Thumbs up for the great desserts and ohhh ice chocolate!
Delightful place. Been here for tbie first time after hearing countless word of mouth hype from friends.
I must admit the Creme Brulee on offer was truly declious.. and unqiue with added corn starch..
highly recommend it !
Eggtastic. A truely wonderful place. From the second we entered the place the staff were beyond welcoming. Although they were clearly near closing time they made sure we were comfortable, well accommodated for, and given everything we could have asked for. They really were fantastic, friendly people. The food was to die for. As someone allergic to life, finding a decent place that's not expensive and actually makes food that tastes great is amazing, but this place did it with ease. I had the crumble and it was so fresh and tasty and fast! The food arrived on our table so quickly! The decor was warm and the Chinese lanterns were a nice touch.
In general I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. It by far my favorite and I look forwards to going back time and time again.
Delicious vegan options. It's clear why there's always a Saturday night queue out the door. The food is totally unique and of a very high standard, and the service is very friendly. Noisy, but great atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Awesome food + Excellent service!. I go to this place every time I'm in town...and I always try to catch a repeat because it's just that good! Love that they switch up the menu every few months. The Teh Tarik is really lovely here - strong and sweet. Anything with fruit and sweet caramel also works for me. I also like the hot teas for when you don't want to have sweetness on top of your dessert. I am particularly partial to the chrysanthemum or the peach tea. It's great that they have a gluten-free, soy, vegetarian options. Options, yes, so you get to have more than one! The staff are always friendly and the owner is a really great guy. He saw us waiting in the rain and tried to get us from out of it. I totally recommend going to this place. It's worth the wait (which isn't too long if you get in early)!
Always great!. A few weeks ago.... Early October in fact! I had one of their cheese cakes (can't remember what it was called now, it had fairy floss!) and I'm still craving more!
Ethical and yummy.. Our group went in the other day and were pleasantly surprised to find that the hot chocolates were Fairtrade - something very difficult to find in Adelaide. Good on Eggless for being conscious of where their products come from, as there is so much slavery in the cocoa industry. The staff also spoke at length about their fairtrade coffee.
The rest of the evening was great. All the desserts were delicious, the coffee was amazing, staff were friendly and had a lot of personality which really helped the atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
I'm actually lactose interolant but i don't even care. It was good, a shame that it's not a tad larger so that you don't have to line up, but then again I guess that'd take away from the whole experience. the seats are cosy and the ambience relaxing. the desserts are decent and quite enjoyable. the drinks and mint tea were put together with care, which shows through the taste: yum. the owner is adorable, saw us off with a greeting of "you beautiful ladies have a good night!"
So amazing!. First time @ eggless, and I loved every bit of it.... maybe except waiting to be seated (so come in early!)
I tried the tasting platter, and I really liked it. Usually, I'm not a turkish delight person, but I ended up loving the turkish tiramisu. It was light and the flavour was very subtle & ended up being the highlight of the evening for me.
The staff were friendly & the atmosphere inside was warm and inviting. I am already beginning to anticipate my next visit!
Delightful. - Staff & owners are delightful
- Food is always perfection (I had the Mexican chocolate pudding this time!)
- Yes you have to wait outside, but its never long, plus they have blankets etc. Well worth the wait.
- Will come back for sure!
Incredible. I love this place! the desserts are all delicious and the staff are so welcoming. When I last went there the owner made a point of going to each table and introducing himself and talking to us. really, really great place!
This place is the bomb!! Even though you wait for what seems like eternity its totally worth the mouth water dish this place serves and did I forget to mention it chamged monthly!!! Heheejej
This place makes any savory lover a sweet lover! The platter is a superb way to taste a variety of different menu choices. The staff also have a wickedly sweet sense of humour!
Great work. Always perfection & plenty of vegan options.
Friday, 11:45PM, I visited this place with my family at this cafe. Its a bit hard to digest to wait for a table for 3 on weekends in Adelaide so late :P
So I started with Peppermint Organic tea. The fragrance of the peppermint makes us feel so fresh. The climate around us changes as we take the first sip of hot organic tea. Big pot of green tea served for $5. Definitely Worth the value as it serves 2 (4 n 1/2 cups). Ordered TiraStoutMisu and Red Velvet, White Choc & Passionfruit Cheesecake. Mind blowing deserts, beautiful presentation just like seen in MasterChef shows :) also ordered Wonton filled with Sweet Potato, Tofu n Spinach served with the traditional Soy sauce..
Truly amazing adventure to this place. 5stars.. Highly recommended.
Yummm!! Love the vegan options, so tasty! Service is great and atmosphere is fantastic. All in all a great place for desert.
Cannot beat it. For amazing dessert, energetic atmosphere and the best service, you cannot go past Eggless. The menu changes each month with the most popular items making comebacks often. Never gets boring.
What's not to love?. I've been here several times now and every time the service is friendly, helpful and fast and the food is delicious! Yes, you may have to line up and wait however the staff do what they can to make you comfortable. On cold nights they make sure the outdoor gas heater is on and that you have a blanket to wrap around yourself, the owner has been known to pop out and check on the line and say hello. The highlight for me is being dairy intolerant but still knowing that there will be plenty of great choices on the menu - at a dessert place no less!
As an eggless virgin - I loved it. Just her here at 8pm and line up. It's all good.
Fist Bump. Eggless is a great dessert cafe in a great spot just out of the city. The best thing about this cafe are the owners and the staff; they are helpful, friendly and always on their feet. The monthly changes to their menu are a great way to keep people coming back to try their wonderful dishes. I find myself coming back here a little bit too frequently.
Panna cotta paradise. These guys make the best panna cotta I've ever had. Great service, great atmosphere. Be prepared to wait unless you get there at 8. Sometimes it's just as good to get takeaway if you can't wait to taste these great desserts. Some of the more Asian style desserts might not be to everyone's taste, but not me. My wife loves the Pan dan cake. I often have a sweet Vietnamese coffee just to complete the sugar rush. The last dessert I had there the Moroccan Cheesecake - a white chocolate cheesecake topped with rose cream, pomegranate, pistachios & rose Persian fairy floss. Mouth watering yet ? Crazy good.
Wonder why everyone loves this place!. I'm a bit late on this one but I can see what the fuss is all about this little place down at Goodwood. Not only are the desserts and drinks are of top notch quality but the service is absolutely wonderful!!! The staff are incredibly friendly and are not without a genuine smile, and they also take their time to explain the menu. The owner is very, very friendly as well and his wife and him seem to have put a lot of care and love into this place. I think this is my new favourite dessert cafe. Will sure to be back again quite often in the very near future!
I try to go to eggless once a month to sample their ever changing menu and they have yet to disappoint! Completely in love with anything that as avocado mousse in it. Service is great. Staff are all friendly and attentive. Best thing is that for the quality of food, the price is extremely reasonable compared to other places. Individual dishes are never over $10.
Always incredible! Great service and well priced.
Creative desserts and enthusiastic and friendly staff. I love that the menu changes monthly. If you can't decide what to have try the tasting plate for two.
Expect a wait, it's popular, but blankets are provided outside.
A joy ! :). I enjoy each and every bit of their desserts ! wonderful.. keep up ur good work guys !
Walked out feeling like a fatty... Was so good I couldn't stop eating!
Highly recommended. Awesome staff and owner is super charismatic and friendly. Their menu is always fabulously put together with very innovative creations. A menu that changes every month is most definitely a winner and I'm definitely a regular. Love it
The key to my heart!. Eggless is my happy place. Yes, there's usually a huge line and yes, it's a little pokey inside but I am NEVER disappointed by the food!
I always get there early to guarantee I am not standing out in the elements for too long. Service is quick once you're seated and the tasting plate is more than enough for two! The variety of vegan options is awesome for going out with friends or people with allergies and the staff are so friendly and welcoming.
It's miles away from my house, but I always come back!
Really nice experience! Service superb, drinks & desserts wonderful. Hope they open a second shop so have excuse to go more often :)
Loved it. Was amassing and the people are cool would go again
Pandan tiramisu was amazing. Great friendly service, arrive early very busy.
This is my favourite dessert place ever! The owners are amazing, always make you feel welcome. Are very accommodating for any dietary requirements, and the food is amazing.
A love that will never die!. I have been a long loving customer of eggless since it opened. Desserts are always tasty and original. The best thing about this place tho is the friendly staff and service. Ken (the manager) is the nicest guy and always comes over for a chat. I know you have to line up to get in, but it;s worth the wait!
One of the best evenings I have spent there was called 'silent night' All evening staff and customers were not to speak, we were provided with pens and table cloths to write on. It was a lot of fun and a great idea!
A beautiful, warm place. You won't be disappointed!
Just wonderful. Can not recommend this place enough, great desserts, very creative and lovely service. True there can sometimes be a long wait for a table but its well worth it :)
Really nice little place, got there 10 minutes before it opened and there was already a line. Good size serves and prices to match. Great that the menu changes every month and the ice cream in the iced coffee is yummy as well as the desserts
Cool little place, went with my girl friend and another couple, the girls had the banana chiros which were very average and my mate had a gateau which he also did not enjoy. However I absolutely loved my dish, from memory a soufle type dish with a butterscotch sauce. So I have to say that I really enjoyed egless.
Dessert!. Boss and the staffs are friendly. Desserts are tasty, guess you need to know what to get and what not to. Generally their cakes (cheesecake, tiramisu etc) aren't that great.
Great place! Great food and drinks! Have been there at least 7 times and would go back plenty more. Definitely worth the wait out the front. Service is great and friendly-food is delicious and quite low priced.
My first time at this dessert cafe tonight! Was well worth the line up!! The food we ordered was beautiful, perfectly presented, great flavours and a unique menu. Serving sizes were generous and pricing was absolutely reasonable/cheap! The food was a highlight and Eggless has a buzz/atmosphere which is just delightful. What I found even more impressive was the fantastic service, I would eat here if they served dirt or carob chocolate. It was so REFRESHING to be served by waitressing staff and a man who appeared to be a humble, lovely owner who a) obviously loved thier jobs b) were dare I say it "happy" to work there. I have worked in food/retail customer service for 6 years and I have eaten out at my fair share of eateries...I know how easy it is to have less than perfect customer service skills. I have come home from this experience and taken the time to write this review because I am just so passionate about supporting Adelaide businesses, especially when the owners and staff of that business are passionate about what they do, and obviously deserving/hardworking individuals.
If you are tossing up about whether to go or not because of the 1-2 obviously confused individuals who have "disliked" thier experience. I would say ignore them, because there are a lot of people who think they can do everything better than everyone else, so they should just stay home. For those of you who want to eat out and have a great experience...try Eggless, you will not be dissapointed!
Love the service, good desserts especially when you have friends with special dietary needs :D
Yummy blackforest tiramisu.. Love their seasonal menu. We last had their blackforest tiramisu and the boyfriend thought it was amazing. Also had their platter - was lovely. Annoying factor however is that you have to wait for ages to be seated - worse if it's only for two people. Will visit this place again if we happen to be in the area -and if there isn't a long queue.
Perfect for a late night treat. Nice atmosphere. Staff very friendly and helpful, as is the owner (he clearly enjoys interacting with his customers). The wait can be long to get in, but there is a nice little heater outside to keep people warm while waiting! The place gets busy, but i've never felt cramped in there. It doesn't tend to get overly loud, just enough to lift the amosphere. And even though there are people lining up out the door, you aren't rushed to get your food and get out. Not overly impressed by the food itself however it isn't a very expensive place to dine - so decent quality for a decent price. A really nice place to go to for a late night dessert and gossip with your girlfriends. The best thing about this place is that they cater for those with allergies or intolerances - so I can take my lastose intolerant family there!
Went in tonight for the first time, must say the figgy sticky date thing I had was absolutely amazing and I usually hate deserts because of many bad experiences elsewhere. I also had some coconut panama cotta with icecream which was nice (mind you I got them take away after being sick of waiting for a seat) Yes the 45 minute wait On a freezing winters night wasn't pleasant, nor was the crowded feeling and noise inside, but to have a chat with the lovely owner and enjoy some beautiful food was defiantly worth it. I recommend everyone to at least try it, defiantly worth the wait! (not for the next two weeks though because there going to new Zealand for a holiday) oh also menu changes monthly (: x
Unique and wonderful desserts. Eggless Dessert Cafe is a unique and wonderful dessert place. The Unexpected combinations of ingredients make for some truly delicious desserts and the drinks are also great, both for the range available, as well as the taste. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.
Fantastic. Great ambience with a menu to match. You will find a selection of the most unique, tastiest deserts I'n Adelaide! And open late nights-woohoo!
I love Eggless. Sugar runs through my veins, and if it does in yours too, this is the place for you. Every month they change the menu, and every month I make a booking. Generally you need to line up at 8pm to get a seat, or find friends and make a booking for more than 6 people.
I think most of the desserts are really well priced approx $8 but for the last few months there has been some price rises on some desserts. Service can be too slow sometimes. Usually takes 45 mins for our table of 6, and some have finished theirs before others are get theirs. Due to the 930 sitting they are pushing you out the door even though you have only just finished eating due to the slow service. But to be fair, since they dont take bookings, people line up for 8pm, so they have 30 orders coming in at the one time.
They have a tasting plate, which is awesome, but the serves are too small, you are better off getting a taste of 3 of the full sized portions for only $1 more.
EDIT: With all the new desserts bars popping up, eggless has gone down the ranking with me, especially as their pricing has increased. I call eggless womans weekly cooking. It's nice, but you can do the same at home. If you want something special go to Steven ter Horst or Devour, or if you are rich Onyx.
Worth the wait. Delicious array of vegan friendly deserts, appealing food for even the biggest of meat eaters. The wait for a table was made easier by their outdoor heater and booking system. I'd highly recommend booking ahead if you're going in a big group.
Absoluletely superb! A good friend & I visited last night (first time for myself) and we both had a terrific time. The staff (including the owner) were professional, efficient and friendly, the interior was charming, and of course the desserts were utterly mouthwatering. We ordered the tasting platter and the Peach Millefeuille to share and all were extremely enjoyable and of high quality. Presentation was outstanding too. Fantastic range of drinks also, I finished off with a pot of Sencha green tea which was a perfect end to a fantastic night. We'll definitely be back!
A regular customer.... Eggless has found a special place in my heart! The menu changes every month, and although this means favourites come and go, it does mean the menu is never dull or boring.
The staff are all amazing, friendly and ever so helpful! Never had a single complaint about them!
Yes, there is a line, but I've never waited more than 20-30minutes, and it is soooo worth the wait!!!
I have been a regular Eggless goer for possibly two years now, it will never get too old.
Eggless rocks!!!!
Worth the wait. There are several dessert places in town, and this is the best for the price. You will have to wait a while for a table, on occasions it may be 45 minutes. The monthly menu change makes it always interesting and worth coming back again!
Something different. You may have to wait for a table but it is worth the wait. There is a wide range of desserts to choose from all which are well presented and very delcious. They offer a menu of desserts which are inspired from flavours of Asian desserts ( I think it may be Malaysian in particular)and their menu sets them apart from other places. The boss travels overseas frequently to see what ideas he can bring back and the menu changes often and is always impressive. The service is lovely and the owner is just a delight!
QUIRKY AND YUMMY!. My boyfriend and I try to come here once a month for dessert (they change the menu monthly!) and it's always a great experience. The staff are VERY kind, the desserts are delicious and there's a mixed deco of 70s/80s/indie feel to the place. Would recommend the Vietnamese hot coffee and the creme brulee to newbies!
Be sure to be there 5 mins before 8pm when they open, it's a small venue (only about 10 small tables) and if your going with more than four people get a reservation to make sure your not disappointed.
Also, if your a local or just driving by, they do take away and usually the desserts are marked down during the last hour open - good if your going home late!!
Odd, Fun, Happy Staff. This place is just a little bit kooky and entertaining: I'm going to put it in my "like" category even though the food is not really to my taste.
I tried a slice of peanut butter and chai tiramisu, clearly a crime against desserts everywhere, but nevertheless strangely compelling and tasty.
Their desserts are quite reasonably priced, but I think they must recoup this in the drinks menu - $4.50 for hot chocolate from powder is ridiculous, and you need to pay for an extra cup if you want to share a pot of tea.
The staff were friendly and efficient, and there was a nice vibe to the place - even the JB HiFi kids (seems to be a bit of a refuge for them, and hippies,) were smiling.
I want to try a drink other than teh tarik here.... ...but everytime I think about ordering one, I realise that I just want their teh tarik. They make a smooth brew. And it always compliments whatever flavour panna cotta they have on the go (I can never go past their delicious homemade panna cotta regardless of whether the flavour might be green tea, lavender, or whatever else it is that month. I want to go there right now!
Different desserts each month, quite interesting concept. Makes you want to come every month
Five Stars. Eggless was great, I stopped off once for a late night chai. The staff were friendly and attentive - service was fast and the staff even asked if everything was alright at the end (something i've seemed to miss at other places) I love the decor. As it was extremely busy, and the room is small, the chatter of patrons is l.o.u.d but the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Five stars :)
Eggless is an amazing late night dessert and snack cafe. They cater to vegans with some amazing desserts n savouries and gluten free :) cute retro decor and lovely staff top this place off to be a must go to eatery!

Overall another epically fun and delicious night at Eggless. This place is an Adelaide institution and still remains one of my all time favourite destinations to indulge my sweet tooth
Eggless Dessert Cafe is this fantastic, popular, sugary sweet cafe catering to those of us with delicate constitutions. You know, the gluten-free, vegan, polarising souls in society. Poor dudes. Their menu indicates helpful options/items with soy substitutions, gluten-free and vegan options. Maybe eggless options as well? They open at 8pm from Wednesday to Sunday. It’s common to have a line up before 8, even on a Wednesday. Usually if you get there 10 or 15 minutes early, however, you’d got a good chance of getting a seat. Every month, Eggless puts out a tasting platter of four of their dishes for the month. You see, every month, Eggless has different dishes. They rotate through a few and others are new. Eggless is a dessert café, one of the first of the new wave, as I like to think of it. There is a decidedly Asian influence to their desserts – such as, the Pandanmisu situated third in this picture. Like a Tiramisu, but with pandan! They also do yummy doughnut

Eggless Dessert Cafe has been my love since I first came to Adelaide. Me and my housemates are the regular customers of the cafe (to the extent that we got 10% off every visit. Shhhh!). It was founded by Ken and his fiance on 2009. A Malaysian and a Singaporean, together they create wonder in the dessert world, coming out with a different menu every single month. This uniqueness has made their customers to come back without fail every month.
If you’re after a fun, unique dessert experience in Adelaide, Eggless is a must. The menu changes monthly to keep regulars coming back (aka me!) See you next month Eggless!
I would recommend for anyone visiting Adelaide to definitely make a huge effort to visit Eggless Dessert Cafe and if you can get Ken to stop running around for 10 seconds have a chat to him and hear his passion for all thing dessert related.
My peanut butter pie thing is called the peanut butter pie thing because I can’t remember what the exact name was. Hehe. It was yummy though! It’s like a Reeses’ peanut butter cup in a cake form! And the waffle was good too, I like their raspberry sorbet :)
Oh Eggless, it’s been too long!
We arrived early before the doors were open and there was already a line outside. Popular dessert haunt!
This peculiarly named Café is at 162 Goodwood Road, opposite the Capri cinema and the Brown Dog Café . It is popular dessert venue and provides some wonderful and original taste options but is only open after 8pm from Wednesday to Sunday. It is also an e
Can't rave enough about this place. Had their Feb 2022 Tasting platter and as usual, amazing! Out of all the four, my favorite has to be their Kaya Toast creme brulee!! I can eat it everyday.. my second favorite would have to be the tiger chocolate orange cheesecake! Everything was crafted carefully and divinely. Always a treat to go back. Although the queueing line was 40mins, it was worth it 👌🏽
Yummy desserts! Exceptional service, beautiful vintage style crockery, tables and chairs. Very chic!! I recommend booking so that you get straight in as it's very popular 👌👍
Eggless has been my favourite dessert cafe since they opened. I always feel welcomed whenever I visit. Yes, some times you have to wait in line to get a table, but they're accommodating by supplying heaters and blankets on cool nights.
I love their unique blend of flavours and their monthly menu changes.
Always keen to get their tasting platters and a chai hot chocolate 💜
One of the best dessert places available in Adelaide. Very friendly staff and the desserts were top notch. The creme brulee was not too sweet and mixed well with the toast. The wait was not too long (15 mins on 8pm arrival)
Pictured (Feb menu): Kaya toast creme brulee, matcha tiramisu, and matcha latte.

The owners are so lovely. The menu changes every month. It's exciting to see what's on next month. This the platter for two get a bit of everything
Been here for the 2nd time and it always amazes me for the amazing food. Will always be one of my fave go to dessert shops. Just wished thwy had an option for a share platter like last time I went here. 😂 but over all 10/10
This place has always been amazing and somehow continues to be amazing after so many years and so many different desserts. The staff are just as incredible as the food and it’s always a great experience. Be prepared to wait in line or call ahead and order takeaway. Either way you’ll be happy you did.
Side note: for all the people complaining about having to order 1 dish per person, who would honestly want to share anyway!? But in all seriousness, it’s a small business charging modest prices for the quality of desserts. Why is it fair you take up one of the limited seats while people outside who WANT to eat wait patiently in line. Either order something and take it away if you can’t finish it or let somebody else take your place. Don’t be selfish and expect not to spend any money but take away their opportunity to get another paying customer inside. Respect the small business.
Good quality of dessert and hot chocolate. Very yummy happy to pay for🍰
