Friendly staff and lots of vegan options! Our new take away joint! Cheep Prices and Average servings order 3 mains if hungry and eating for 2!
Nice Thai restaurant on goodwood road. Happened to drop after watching a play in independent theatre. Staff is friendly and provided great accommodation according to what we wanted . It was cold and we had tom yum soup along with skews and stir fry. They were delist! And not too pricey as well. Highly recommended!

We have been ordering from this delightful little restaurant for ever, locals of the area, absolutely love it. Very clean, amazing food. Even our kids love it which is bordering on a miracle!!!
Had a fantastic night with my extended family of 20 people. Staff were kind, efficient and very helpful.
We selected the $35 banquet along with other options for vegetarians and etc and all of us were very impressed.
The meals where AMAZING and the people that work there are super nice. While they where bringing out the meal there was a miscommunication between which of the dishs was a meal and which one was the banquet. I ended up getting the banquet which was wrong because I ordered the meal but I didn't mind because that meant more food for me. 😀
Delicious Thai favourites like pad Thai and green chicken curry but awful service! Leave you waiting for yonks before coming over to take your order- you almost have to wave them over for service which really is a pet hate of mine having to work in hospitality myself.
Wow!!! This truly has to be one of the most authentic and affordable Thai restaurants in Adelaide.
A fantastic range of well priced, generously sized dishes with some of the most sincere and friendly service I have ever received.
The Thai Fried Rice is perfect every time, accompanied by my favorite Red Beef Curry and steamed vegetables makes for an almost medicinal meal.
If you have never tried Thai food before I strongly recommend Manee Siam
Bye Bye Chinese food hello Thai!!! Where have you been all my life?
Thanks again and we will most definitely be back to eat here again.
Not the best Thai restaurant in Adelaide, not at all, but it's really cosy and the staff are lovely. The Pad Thai was quite good but lacked that wok-char that a good Pad Thai has.
Very pleased with dinner! Service was quick and portions sizes were great. We tried the golden bags, soup, satay chicken and pad thai and all were delicious and authentic. Staff are very friendly and thoughtful. Great value as well!
Delicious and authentic Thai food. And as an Asian, I was very happy with the serving size. Just the right amount. Left satisfied. Second only to my favourite Pira Thai.
Love this place! Genuine food by genuine family.
Beef was a little tough, as was the squid, and chicken in the fried rice was dry. But for the price it was pretty good I guess.
A pleasant mid-week surprise!. I absolutely love Thai food and I was not disappointed. The food was really good - creamy and very tasty - and the serving size quite sufficient.
Service seemed lovely but somewhat confused. We had difficulty getting their attention. They do not serve wine by glass. We therefore decided to have coconut juice which was nice, but maybe slightly sweet for my liking.
All in all, a lovely surprise as I rarely eat in that area.
Loved it. Yum beef entree was awesome as was our main. Nice atmosphere and good service. Comfiest dining chairs ever
I eat here regularly as I live on the same block. The standard of stir frys and Thai curry has always been very good. Especially considering a typical main course here is around 35 percent cheaper than some of the ' cooler ' places to eat Thai in Unley and Hyde Park. The food stacks up well against these other restaurants as well. my only warning is that due to the cheap prices and good food, the place is crazy busy on Friday and Saturday night. This causes the food and service to suffer especially with big groups. Eat here on an alternative night and enjoy. Drinks are also very reasonably priced.
Amazing food! Authentic, well priced, well proportioned food. A hidden gem!!
Great food and price. This is among one of my favourite places to eat. The food is so good and the prices are also cheap. I have not yet been disappointed with anything on the menu. Just don't expect much of a wine selection especially if you usually order by the glass. The atmosphere indoors are cosy great for winter, and the outdoor seating is great for summer.
A decent Tom Kha and a really good massaman curry was had here tonight. Of particular note was the fall-apart beef in that massaman. The prices are great and the service is really polite. Fantastic.
It was very busy (good sign) however the service wasn't the greatest. Took 20mins for them to take our order, then 30mins after for them to bring it out... Food was good so thumbs up for that, but I would encourage others to get take away and save the dine in experience for another day
Of course, the icing on the cake was how ludicrously cheap and good our meal was. We spent $30 a head, which included a generous tip (so we could easily divide the bill by three!) and included the entrées, mains, rice, one dessert (ice cream and lychees – I don’t think you need a description of that!) and drinks.
Came here on a Sunday night, staff was really welcoming and sat us quickly. I would definitely recommend the yum squid and the yum beef (pictured on the left side) as i love how fresh and tasty they are! Will definitely eat here again :)
I have been wanting to write a review for Manee Siam for a few months now. We visited in late May and we are still talking about the Green Chicken Curry, Basil Fried Rice, Thai Red Curry and Pandan Chicken. All abundant serves, fresh, aromatic and delicious! Basil Fried rice was a stand out with plump prawns, tender chicken pieces and fresh herbs. We enjoyed the ambiance and decor. We felt like we were in Thailand. We would like to return in warmer seasons so we can sit outside in the courtyard so the kids can enjoy the fishpond. Beautiful, friendly service and a very reasonably priced evening. BYO on offer is always a good option but some nice wines on the list too. Best Thai on this side of the city! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love this place, food is always made fresh for your order, lots of vegetables and protein of choice. Prices are great, staff are wonderful, huge variety of food choices. Spices and chilli can be adapted to your liking. Book ahead as they are often busy. Easy oarking and bathrooms ok. Dining outside as well.
Service was a little slow, but they were busy and it's understood that many businesses are struggling for staff during covid times.
Five of us had the $35.00 per head banquet option.
The serves were generously proportioned and very good quality.
Sometimes banquets can be a bit of a rip off, but definitely not the case here.
Really good wine list that is also reasonably priced.
We bought some wine from the wine list, but also did BYO with some bottles.
Corkage = $10.00 per bottle.
Will we go back ? Definitely.

Beautiful old house transformed into a a restaurant. The outdoor space is nice and elegant. The inside is typical Thai dining with Thai sculptures and artwork. The service was very good! Girls were always smiling and happy to help.
I ordered a chicken curry panang and it was nice not too grease with lots of vegetables and enough for maybe 2 small servings. The seafood mix was good too very very mild and with lots of cashews and vegetables.
Great prices! Curry goes for around 14 dollars and appetizers goes for 7 to 9 dollars.
Great experience!
