Best pub meal in a really long time! Rissoles were "homemade", vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly and it was delivered HOT to our table on a very cold night. Highly recommend the bistro. Worth the lengthy wait because of a technology issue between front of house and the kitchen. Thanks guys

Went for lunch at the Royal with my daughter and granddaughter today and we had the crumbed steak and veg x 2 and the kids fish and chips. The meals were amazing with nice creamy mash, veggies cooked perfectly and the crumbed steak was the best one I’ve had in ages. Can’t beat a great crumbed steak

Food is fantastic. Hubby had the beef Thai salad twice in 3 days. Stayed upstairs, first night our room had no milk and the toilet in our ensuite hadn’t been cleaned, no toilet brush either so the previous guests couldn’t clean up their poop stains if they wanted to. Room and motel reception were fantastic. Bar staff were great; male and feme. resturant staff was atrocious. Bloody outright rude. Overcharged on our meals. Response was to take it up with the accommodation manager in the morning?? Not accoms problem. Would have made this our regular stay in goondi

Great pub. Staff were awesome. Needs some TLC in areas but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great variety of activities to occupy yourself at this pub, accommodation upstairs is ok but the parking can be a problem even though its designated out the back. The team covering them bistro area do a great job to provide you your meal in the quickest time, food tastes great.

A beautiful meal with mostly friendly staff. One elderly Lady in Bistro was a tad grumpy but we didn't let that spoil our night.

Rooms tidy but needed a better clean. Towels were threadbare. One tiny piece of soap for two people and only three tea bags... Needed checking before putting people in there .
