Great little place to grab lunch, the ramen (tonkotsu broth pictured) and curry are full of flavour and very delicious. Friendly service too

Monday lunchtime and the food was fantastic and fresh .
Came back on Thursday again and it wasn’t the same, rice was dry as it had sat in the fridge. Soup and chicken were still beautiful.
Definitely recommend the dishes they cook fresh. Will be back.

Average I suppose, to put it briefly. I'm sure the other menu items would be very good as I only tried one item. I had a late visit to the place with a friend for dinner. The venue is kind of well hidden, there is a diverse selection of menu items which is very pleasant to the eye. Upon entry there wasn't really anyone to at the counter to service us. I had ordered Katsu curry, which was a little pricey for what we were given, The katsu given was mildly cold and only half a cutlet cut into slices, the meat was processed and the panko crumb layer was falling off and wasn't very crispy. The curry was generous and filling but somewhat bland, it had the classic carrot onions inside. Though Despite this, there was lots of onion and distinct lack of potato. Slightly disappointing, though I'm sure the other menu items would be good to try.

Every Saturday, I stop this little shop to get sushi. It has been our weekend ritual. The spicy kaarage rolls are amazing. I can highly recommend the salmon carpaccio.

Definitely hidden gem, food quality is amazingly over the price tag (considering the fact that it's Sydney). Authentic Japanese flavours, sushi is well made, you can tell by the look of them, it's not like those ones made by non-Japanese. Way better than the Bar Fresko upstairs. Will definitely come back and try more options, e.g. cold soba noodle, poke bowl and ramen variations. If the quality of rice can be better, I'd say this restaurant serves better Bento than Yayoi, ramen is not as good but still above average.

Sushi Village is located on the lower ground of the Gordon Centre, on Pacific Highway in Gordon. The restaurant provides Japanese cuisine at a reasonable price. You can pick-up or have the food delivered for a small fee.
Besides the traditional sushis, I would recommend the poke bowls. The salmon poke is absolutely delicious.
