Review Tommy's Cafe - Gosford

A very lively host with generous portions of delicious food. The ambience was well set, and service was quick, excellent for a working lunch. I requested some heat in my burger which they generously complied.

Friendly relaxed atmosphere, in a great location. Friendly helpful staff and there is a good selection of food and drink available.

By far the best fresh juices on the coast (big call because there’s some yummy juice places around) and the freshest food with a beautiful view. But hands down the staff are my fave part about this cafe. All very friendly. Big thank you to the kindest man who works there who always serves you with a smile! You made my day this morning :’)

The BEST coffee on the Coast (mocha is especially fab). The staff are always friendly and service is quick. When we eat in, the food never disappoints either. Our daily haunt!

It was a cold, windy & rainy morning.. we didn’t book a table but the waiter found us a table. We weren’t happy at that table so we moved again. Still not happy with the table the waiter K set us up in a nice cozy spot. Finally settled with our table we order 2 breakfast bowls and they were yumdiddly! So grateful to the waiter K that said if we were happy he was happy. Nothing was too much trouble for him! Will definitely be back!!

Amazing place with a great feel. Casual friendly staff. I had a rude lady push in front of me and was very demanding. The owner himself could not apologise enough and we had a laugh at how ignorant some customers can be. All in all I would highly recommend for a great meal.

The tastiness caught me by surprise...chilli scrambled eggs seems ordinary to me but damn this one packed some good flavour. At $20 for some eggs on toast it's fairly pricy, but you get some very flavourful food, decent amount of heat and the marinated feta is pretty damn good! Would love to try their lunch menu at some point. Service is polite.

Excellent breakfast and coffee and lovely setting. Only downside was that there were no high chairs, the staff were welcoming of the kids but it was a bit of a battle (for a few other families there too) to keep the little ones seated and eating.

I have been to Tommy's previously and experienced great food and service but I have had the opposite experience today. I ordered the chicken burger which was very disappointing. The chicken was very burnt and I didn't eat half of the burger, at no point did the staff ask about the quality of our meals. I use to recommend Tommy's to people visiting Gosford but I don't think I will recommend them in future. Note- Food and drink was served quickly and my milkshake was perfect. The issue was with the food quality.

Came here for breakfast over the weekend. We waited 50 minutes for our food (cafe wasn’t remotely busy when we arrived) then when I went the the bathroom I saw the food ready and sitting on the counter and it then took another 10 minutes for it to be brought to our table and it was all cold. Over priced and rude staff. Will not be returning and will not recommend.

Walked into Tommy's thinking what a great little cafe. Sat where I was directed and waited. I had to ask for a menu and then waited some more. I had to ask to have my order taken and when I asked for some water was told (not very politely) that I could get my own. Went to find the water only to spill it when getting back to the table as it was so wobbly (no one offered to help). So I shifted tables and waited some more - 45 mins to be exact - and watched others being served who came in after me (one family came in half an hour after me and left before I had my meal). I had time to witness four other couples sit at my original table then move as it was so wobbly - please get rid if it!!!! My burger was advertised as being served on a Brioche roll so when a lame looking burger arrived between two pieces of bread I was quite surprised. A very ordinary burger in no way resembling what was on the menu. When I pointed out how long I waited I was not charged for my meal which I appreciated. I would have preferred to pay for a decent meal and service. Dreadful cafe experience - don't waste your money.

Hubby and I travelled from Newcastle especially to have breakfast with you on Sunday 6/5/18. Took ages for our order to be taken, and then for our food to finally arrive. Coffee was lovely but stone cold. I ordered the sweet potato hash which was absolutely DEVOID of any flavour whatsoever - I think I've actually tasted better air!!!! All in all, an unenjoyable 60 buck breaky that my wallet and my tastebuds both regretted. Staff were lovely, but didn't question the almost full plate of food which I returned to their kitchen. Completely disappointing.

Amazing customer service. Was greeted with a smile and shown to a table within seconds of arriving. Friendly and helpful staff, amazing food at such great quality. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Took the family there yesterday for a birthday lunch. The service wasn't great meals mixed up and food was still on the plates that were asked to take of. Menu sounds nice but when you get your meal it's not what is on the menu. Pork burger doesn't say with tomato but comes with tomato. Rosti comes laden with seeded mustard also not on the menu and you couldn't taste the lemon Also very heavy and so salty. The lightly battered John Dory was heavily battered with very little fish. We also ordered a side of onion rings which was very heavily battered. Proberbly wouldn't go there again. Very disappointed as the prices are high for a cafe.

Tommy's is such a great place to dine. Great location, service, food and coffee. I have never been disappointed here. I came for breakfast and got all my things super speedy. This is a must visit if you are in this area, even if you aren't make the trip to try it out. The Cocoa Banana is life changing!!

I visited this cafe today with a large group with young children as well as young adults they were very accommodating,respectful beautiful food lovely service amazing atmosphere we thank you for your service have a wonderful new year and all the best for 2018

It was a terrible experience, food was very ordinary, it is our second time to eat at this cafe, first time 12 months ago was very good. This time we took friends and were very disappointed, I had what was supposed to be a spicy chicken burger it will fire listen appetising. We will not return

Rudest staff and customer service! Not a welcoming environment. Don't bother going here if you have small children as you will not feel welcomed

Went there for brekkie with my family. All the meals were tasty except the bun for the bacon and egg roll. It had a strange taste and a weird texture, my son couldn't eat it. Also for younger kids the option of "normal" bread (instead of sour dough) would be a winner.

Great location. Wouldn't recommend lunch .. Very Pricey for cafe and lunch very average !! Gosh side handful of chips cost a mint! Maybe breakfast is better.
