Review Alexander's Townhouse Restaurant - Gosford

I'll be back. Tasted 4 different dishes and they were all superb. Tried 2 desserts (banana caramel crepe pictured) and both were lovely. Reasonable prices and good size servings.

Definitely one of Gosford's well kept secrets restaurant... If you have not eaten here before its is absolutely a place to eat!. Great food, everything is cooked and made fresh with a great price.

Food here is always great. Owner is a catering legend in a city lacking of choice when it comes to fine food. Small restaurant which has been on the same site for more than 20 years with the same owner. Renovated 3 years ago to a modern interior. Still has charm though most of us older locals miss the old interior. Menu has a lot of variety. Servings are large and delicious and at a reasonable price. Service is friendly and the owner takes the time to talk to his customers when he is not busy in the kitchen. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, great value, fantastic customer service!! It was the best service we have ever had. The cashew chicken and avocado in a creamy sauce was fresh and melt in the mouth, the chicken skewers in Korean BBQ sauce and sesame oil was delicious, and the banana and caramel crepe with ice-cream was out of this world!!!!! Would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to everyone! Chicken schnitzel with peppercorn sauce, nachos, Cajun chicken burger - wow Soo yummy and great value!!!

My family and I enjoyed a lovely Mother's Day lunch here yesterday. The food was delicious and the service very friendly and efficient. Music and songs provided by a talented guitarist provided a lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Love this place, been going here with my wife for last 10 year's. Benny knows how to cook. Meat is always perfectly tender. Favourite entree is the lambs kidneys.

The posted menu was non-existent. Wanted steak but all they had was beef which tasted like it had come out of a home slow-cooker. Bland, un-seasoned and chewy. Waitress Louise was lovely and was the only positive of an over-priced and disappointing evening. Won"t be back

A nice local restaurant. Small but decent quality food for a good price. Key word is small - drinks list is limited, recommend BYO? Perfect spot for a quiet meal with a loved one.

Great food and the Brisket curry is great !! Small menu which is a good thing,eaten here a few times and it is always good fresh food.

Most amazing food in Gosford! Service is always amazing, the menu changes enough even as a regular you can't get bored, meals come out quickly and are delicious!!

We held a function at Alexanders on Saturday night for my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary. Ben and the staff were extremely accommodating in all the preparation and planning. The food on the night was FANTASTIC! Everyone commented on how wonderful it was and how much there was. Thank you!!
