Average place, the bento box in a take away container? Teabag for brown rice green tea? Teriyaki Salmon was hard and fishy? Hmmm service is very good and fast.

Without a doubt in my mind the best Japanese restaurant on the Central Coast. It's obvious to tell when things have been created with passion, especially when you are tasting them. The owners/staff are wonderfully kind and welcoming. Could not recommend this place enough. A diverse menu full of meticulously crafted dishes, all made with love.

The Japanese curry here has to be tasted to be believed. It's sensational. Better than Indian. More delicate but zings with every mouthful. Generous servings too. I order it every time. I'm also a big fan of the people here. A friendly bunch. You always feel welcome. Two thumbs up.

Don’t be deceived by the look. The place is run by Japanese and you can taste it. Sushi rolls are modest in size but great in taste. Very fresh. So much better than what you get from a typical sushi place.

This is a Japanese and Korean fusion restaurant with a 90% Japanese menu. They have delicious bibimbap available, but only in 3 styles. They are very friendly and are quick to prepare food. They have seating both inside and out, but take a jumper if you plan to sit outside as it can be quite a windy location at times. I have eaten here multiple times and the quality is always of high standard.

Eat here multiple times a month. The staff always greet you upon entry, they are exceptionally friendly which is complimentary to their absolutely beautiful, well-crafted food. Hands down the best sushi place in Gosford.

Incredible service and delicious, freshly made food with lots of options to choose from! I tried the chicken udon noodle soup and it was really nice and really good deal for reasonable price. Dine-in or take-away, both options are available! The sushi is amazing and worth tasting! My new favourite sushi shop on the central coast and definitely would recommend to anyone to check this one out!

The service was great, super friendly and the food was terrific. The pork and chicken katsu (crispy) were some of the best I have had. All really good and fresh. Will definitely return and really recommend New sushi maru..

Love the Beef Soup Udon that I had 2 days ago. It was great to have a delicious, warm soup noodle with sumptuous of ingredients in it on a cold day! Tried the Chicken Katsu Curry Don today, it was so nice as well ! Not forgetting that the owner and workers here are very kind and friendly ! Definitely gonna come back again to try the other food available on its menu!

Chicken katsu curry is heavenly! And the Japanese lemonade was so refreshing, not overly sugary.
