what a joke - we have been going here for years. called and asked for a table at 1.45pm I said we would be quick as we know what we want we will be in and out by 2.15 if the kitchen could prepare the food that quickly. I was also happy to order the food on the phone so it was super quick.. I literally had to argue with the lady as she said sorry we close at 2pm.. what is the point of advertising your open until 2pm if your not accepting bookings from 1.30pm onwards!! what a waste of business.. no wonder they're always quiet. I could have been a group of 15 people for all they knew! they didn't even ask me for how many people to see if it was worth staying opening an extra 15 minutes. Won't be back!!

It was our first time visiting the Mr CAI Asian Cuisine restaurant and the experience was good overall. Parking is available at the rear of the restaurant and service was quite friendly. Food was on the more expensive side for what we received compared to other restaurants however food was tasty. Food was out quickly after we ordered however one thing to note was it was very hot sitting inside the restaurant.

Ordered the belly pork and was given a sizzling plate of general bacon. I'm not joking bacon. I've never seen anything like it and tasted horrible. Most of the menu was not available and they only had icecream as desert and no coffee.

Excellent service friendly staff good size portions plenty of flavour no waiting meals served in a timely manner. Will dine here again.

Really good Chinese Food, Ordered San Choy bow, Fried rice, short soup, Sweet &Sour pork, really enjoyed it, Will definitely go back.

Such a shame always got my Chinese here always been ok but this time got my who order wrong rang to speak about was keep on phone for 20 min while lady spoke to chef the said wouldn’t do anything about it then hung up on me

Tried restaurant because of dumpling menu...they were good. We then ordered Steamed Duck with Chinese mushrooms...small amount of duck, button mushrooms and topped with lots of brocoli, however we had ordered chinese broccoli because we didn't know about broccoli in duck dish ...so broccoli dish was left untouched. Mr Cai Fried rice isn't...it's a gluggy rice topped oyster sauce, ham and peas. Couldn't be bothered ordering further so asked for broccoli to be taken away. A takeaway container was dumped on table...the waitress couldn't take broccoli back into kitchen because of health and safety issues...isn't a kitchen the best place to manage health and safety issues? This is a licensed restaurant...we ordered beer and wine however nothing was poured for us. So sick of bad service and inaccurate menu descriptions!

Mr Cai, is the ultimate dining experience, by far one of the best Chinese Restaurants on the Central Coast. My partner, family, extended family, friends and I all love you guys. Thank you for providing top quality delicious food, lots of gf options and friendly staff.

Fantastic food. So many things on the menu, will be back several times to try them all. Lovely staff.
