Review Kendall's Cocktail Bar - Gosford

Great cocktail bar on the Central Coast. The staff know their cocktails and are happy to advise on what you might like given your tastes. With its friendly knowledgeable staff, comfortable seating, low lighting and New York vibe, this place is a surprise package located in the Central Coast Leagues Club.. Oh, did I mention the cocktails are to die for!

Excellent cocktail bar, nestled into the CCLC. Staff are very friendly and know their drinks very well, and go that little bit extra to provide the very best service! The cocktails themselves taste arrive, with excellent presentation... And if you don't quite know what to go for, ask the bartender for a recommendation, as they have loads of 'off the menu' ideas they would love to make for you - ask for something with smoke! Great place to go.

Received great service and cocktails from Josh and Amy in Kendall's Cocktail Bar on both Friday and Saturday night. They were run off their feet with the Lionel Richie crowd but still managed to smile and do their best to keep everyone happy. They are a credit to the club.

Cosy, friendly spot for a drink. A hidden gem, situated in the club. Brilliant concept and you don't feel like you are sitting in a hotel lobby or barn. Vast range of drinks, staff are friendly and know their stuff. Highly recommended and can be difficult to get a seat when busy.

Absolutely brilliant. Quirky bartender, amazing drinks, an old school atmosphere that you won't get anywhere else on the coast! Ask the bartender about Clint's Revolver, an original never seen before!!!!!!!
Sarah Kidd
Talented bartender, great vibe and even greater cocktails!! Could recommend highly enough.

It's been a trial with the renovations but it's been worth it. I love the new layout of the club. The decor is fresh inviting and modern. The new tank beer and wider array of beers is a definite winner Tonight we had dinner at the new bistro "Archie's" . The lamb shank on a bed of mash with mushrooms was superb and the jus was divine. Jeff devoured an open steak sandwich, try it, you will not be disappointed. Beautiful surrounds professional friendly staff fantastic food. Double thumbs up I can see Archie's being a great place for family dinners.

Was our 1st time eating at the club, we went to all you can eat buffet was very fresh, hot, fantastic variety, friendly staff, well worth the 2.5 hour drive. Will 100% be back highly recommend the buffet 😁

Value for money this place is hard to beat. The food was very good and there was plenty of it. People don't behave like pigs either, which is refreshing to see at a buffet. Plates are constantly being collected and the joint is clean. Group of mates and I went midweek and not a complaint from any of the lads. Excellent range of roasts, sushi, Italian, Chinese (imcluding bbq), fish, veggies, curries, tea, coffee and a huge range of desserts which were really good $14.80 & $3 for an endless cup of soft drinks. I'll definitely be back.

I went to the club before Lionel Richie. The new renovated club couldn’t cope with the crowns and were not prepared at all. Not enough seating, Bars queues a mile long with other bars not even open. The food queues were no better and to top it off they ran out of food.

I have to say after the renovations have been completed the club is terrible. Your ‘sports bar’ if you can call it that is tiny and closes at 8.30pm, a full 2 hours before the dogs and trots finish. Your front bar area would have been the perfect place to set up your sports and TAB area. To close both those areas by 9pm is disappointing for such a big club. Not all your beers are at Kelly’s bar so after the other 2 bars are closed you have to order the beer from Kelly’s and then wait while the staff have to walk down to the other closed bars to pour it. Gosford RSL club (which is a much smaller club)just down the road has their TAB and sports area set out far better than the Leagues Club. Management needs to look at moving the sports and TAB facilities to the front bar area and keeping this open till the races have finished at night.

We recently visited the Star Buffet and it was the first time I’ve visited since being diagnosed with Coeliac Disease. I was a bit nervous as to what I could eat, however one of your amazing staff members ‘Rechel’ (not sure how it was spelt) took me around to all of the different stations and referred to an allergy list that she had and made me aware of what I could or couldn’t have. Just wanted to say a huge thanks to her, she was amazing

Sad. Went to go to the A League match, and thought we would go to the bistro. (no not the all you can eat one) Well the Bistro was only serving hot dogs, pies, and that sort of unhealthy crap food. So we went to the Chinese restaurant, which was ok. I found out later, a person I was goinf to meet at the bistro came later. He ordered the wedges, to be told we don't have tonight, ordered chips instead, which were shriveled and a small serving, looked like a few days old. he sent back. Then, after the A league ( you cannot leave car park for 20 minutes, we went back into the club ( which closes at 3am) to got to the cafe........ The one we used to go to is closed...... The other one closes at 10pm.... Oh, we were directed to a coffee dispenser machine..... About all you could do is buy a beer and play a pokie. This is when an event is on, and the club offers nothing.... Sighs.... Hopeless...... It is sad.

Bar staff refuse to put live sport on if it's a sport they don't like. If/when Someone else does they put it on mute and then proceed to make sexist remarks about it. Sports bar is rubbish, poor decisions about furniture and it's placement. Bistro used to be good when run by a contractor. Now the club runs it it's over priced and not that great. Shame, it used to be a decent venue. Tepenyaki is ace.

It is under renovation. It's been a favourite for locals for various reasons. Friendly staff. Accessible. I give them 3 stars . Waiting for renovations to finish then re-evaluate again.

The cafe/bistro on Mariners match days is dreadful compared to what used to be on offer. The $10 meals used to be great. Now all you can get is an overpriced 'plastic' chili dog, pie, etc.
