Review Wong Ming - Gosford

Sadly people try to support local business’. This was the worst Chinese food we have ever eaten. When a ph call was made nicely to inform this place, the reply was arrogant and non apologetic at all. There was not one piece of green vegetables in any of the four dishes that were brought, except for a couple of peas and so much onion that it was inedible. Instead the response was that they had been in business for 35 yrs and that there policy is to.. I couldn’t understand the policy of what I was told as it DID not make sense. Also the customer service was non existent, from the person who answered and then the supposed manager. GREAT quality Chinese food is everywhere but not at this place. Very sad to say...

I'll keep it short. I have had ok food from Lunch specials previously. Dinner biggest portions which is good. However the chow mein really needed a boost of flavour as was insipid not a good reflection on this cuisine. veg was nice and crisp would be the posirive.

I have not had a good experience from this restaurant in a long time. Over the years their customer service has declined and so has the quality of the food. Do not recommend. I will never order from here again.

I order from Wong Ming when ever I want Chinese. They are the best on the Coast, probably the best I've ever had to be honest. I always get garlic vegetables and fried Rice or boiled rice. The food is delicious filled with so much flavour, the vegetables are cooked to perfection, they are nice and fresh. Thankyou Wong Ming I won't go anywhere else since I started ordering from you.

We usually love Wong Ming but our latest order was well below par not only was the rice burnt and we only recieved 4 of the 9 Spring Rolls in the dinner pack but upon delivery we were told we needed to pay a delivery charge which is not stated on their menu or when we called to place the order. Very disappointed!

3rd visit for takeaway on a night we were too tired to cook. First 2 takeaways (selection of 3 meals plus rice) were passable, the vegetables tasted fresh, the sweet & sour pork batter crisp. This last visit - similar meal choices. They advised the food would be ready in 20mins, due to circumstances we were only 5mins away. On entering store to pay (we were prepared to wait for pickup), it took 5mins for a staff member to come to the counter, our takeaway was already sitting waiting for collection and was already cool. On trying to eat any of them, it was obvious they were all reheats from either the lunch runs or more likely, based on the soggy batter, rubber rice other disgusting meals, that they were left over reheats from the previous day. Also over priced & overcharged. Will not recommend or go back, we've been advised of a better & consistent chinese takeaway less than 2 mins from this store. there's better
