Review Three Ways Tapas - Gosford

It was a beautiful winter's day and fortunately we had a seat on the balcony to soak in the beautiful elevated view over Terrigal. The menu was fine dining with lots of combinations that are unique but all of which we liked. We opted for the three course menu and liked every course. The courses could have come out closer together for our liking but, with that view, who cares. If we return to Terrigal we would definitely go to The Cowrie again.

The food is good. The service from SOME wait staff is good. We've been 3 times and the service was only good once. Firstly, they got the name of the booking wrong. The waitress we had had no idea about the menu. She also made it very awkward when we paid the bill by asking us to tip, "any amount," or nothing. The food was GREAT! The food has always been GREAT! Definitely worth the food but not the service. If you're paying these prices, you expect good friendly service and extensive knowledge about the menu. Some of the wait staff are absolutely fantastic! This could be an amazing restaurant with a knowledgeable and friendly wait staff.

Under new ownership and management but just as amazing as ever. We came years ago for our first ever valentine’s and been back since then with the in-laws and now with our toddler for our wedding anniversary. From start to finish it was an exceptional dining experience and the food and wines were magnificent. Thanks to Michael, Dimitri and the rest of the team there; we are very choosey and all expectation surpassed. Highly recommended. We’ll be back.

Have been twice since the change of owner and have had an amazing experience both times. The menu is well balanced and every dish has been picture perfect and amazing flavours. Great to see amazing food in a remarkable space. I will be back every chance I get and exited to see what's to come.

A night at the Cowrie is an incredible experience! I recommend going for the degustation menu with matching wines. Everything is just sensational, and so well put together 👌👌👌😋 The service & general ambience are inviting and warm also 🕯️ An all-round special and indulgent experience. Thank you so much Dimitri and your team for looking after Shona and myself so well 🙏🙏🙏

Absolutely fantastic. A culinary experience for your tastebuds. Michael the sommelier was great, Katherine is a vibe, Carol was super friendly, all service was great. The food far exceeded all expectations, it can be a little expensive but we went all out, starters, entrees, mains, sides, dessert, cocktails, couple bottles of wine.... Worth every penny. Not one mouthful disappointed. Even the complimentary bread and palate cleanser artichoke soup was too die for. Highly recommend.
