Review Eat Street Cafe - Gosford

I haven’t been to Eat Street for about a year after a few average experiences but stopped in today for a hot drink after walking in the cold. What a turn around! The place looked so much cleaner, the staff were upbeat and friendly and the coffee was good! I was informed the original owner was back and you can definitely see the difference. If you’ve been turned off previously give them another go!

I ordered some items thru Uber Eats which includes a serve of Nachos. To my surprise, the nachos that arrived was a bare couple of pieces of nachos!!! The description says Nachos has "house made chilli con carne, shredded tasty cheese, tomato and onion salsa, sour cream. What a joke! You better take your shop down if you play jokes to your customer. And how much did I pay for it? Thanks for wasting my time waiting for my order.

Eat street is one of the regular spots we frequent and we usually have a good experience. We were prepared for it to be busy and have a bit of a wait due to being Mothers Day but it was rather disappointing even with our lowered expectations. We were told 10-15min wait for two iced coffees and 15-20min wait for our two bacon and egg rolls. We took a nice walk in the meantime to kill some time…. 20 minutes later we finally got our coffees and 35minutes later we finally got our rolls. Thankfully the coffee/food quality was good but waiting 35minutes for 2x bacon and egg rolls is unheard of.

Purchased our daily coffee from here today as our regular is closed on public holidays, one word for the taste - burnt! Disappointing as am happy to pay any surcharges for purchase on public holidays, but came very close to just chucking this down the sink. Don’t mind waiting either if the product is good, sorry to say I’m still on the hunt for a decent coffee on a public holiday

4 years ago, I came here last and it was great... Today was terrible, food was cold and barely any sauce on the hot dogs. I ordered a premium dog and the sausage was cut up to cover the roll... Eating here is not worth the time or money... You'd be better to drive to Ikea for a hot dog, their $1 hot dogs outdo these any day...

Just ate here for the last time. How hard is it to know how to cook a hotdog! since when has anyone ever toasted the roll and fried the Frank? Was it because the rolls were so stale ? How much would a bit of butter have cost them. This place was good once, not now. The Bratwurst was like a chilli sausage.

Coffee wasn't up to the usual standard today. I contacted them and quickly received a reply. They investigated the cause and contacted me to thank me for alerting them to the issue. The pro lem was their supplier gave them the wrong almond milk. Having some experience in thos area I knew that explained the problem. They also offered a generous replacement. Best customer service I have experienced in a situation like this.

Nice food and drinks, quick service, friendly staff. Prices are reasonable. The banana bread was a bit average.
