Review Red Rooster - Gosford

Prefer RR over the other major chicken chain as you can get roast chicken instead of fried. Ordered a roast chicken roll which tasted great except that there was half a wishbone still in the meat. Could have been disastorous. Please take care , major health problems could have occurred for the diner let alone potential legal issues.

After getting charged twice via the online ordering system, the manager assured me this would be fixed. To date, it has not been fixed. In addition, after waiting 10 minutes I was finally advised it would be another 15 minutes because the fryer wasnt on. Disappointed by understandable. It took a further 30 minutes to receive our order, including the kids meals which were not dependant on the fryer. In addition, other customers came and went with the same food I was apparently waiting on. Asked multiple times only to be met with confusion by the clearly uninterested staff. After finally receiving the food, without a word of apology, when I said I would like to lodge a complaint, without so much of a sign of interes I was pointed to a QR code on the window and to do it that way. It has been 5 days and no response. I am NOT the kind of customer that gets upset over sub standard service but this was an absolute joke, and the lack of care given to resolve not only the issue but follow up on a complaint that was lodged in the manner I was advised, is downright pathetic. A shame, as I enjoy the food but cannot recommend this location. I am now resorting to a bank chargeback due to the lack of interest shown by the management of this restaurant in resolving the simplest of problems. edit: refund has arrived and was offered replacement chicken

GROSS! The chips don't even TASTE LIKE CHIPS. The chicken is bland and tasted like cardboard. I'd rather eat VEGAN FOOD over this garbage! The lineup was long and I waited 10 minute in the drive-thru.

I dont know if the reason why your restaurant doesn't have customers is because of your food or your employees. the other day i ordered at the counter and the worker didn't even muttered a single word and it was just pure silence... I waited for 15 minutes only for them to tell me that the chicken i ordered wasn't available and didn't even apologise for it, and told me if i would still want my order i needed to wait for another 15 minutes..? that's just ridiculous. It was overall a bad experience and i would not recommend this place at all.

Never get delivery from West Gosford, worst customer service! Training is needed for sure. Bags are meant to be sealed - they are not, food arrives cold. When you phone the store, no one answers!! It’s a joke.

We haven't been happy with the other chicken place lately so have been getting Red Rooster baked dinners The meal is very ample and the vegs crispy.and yum We have very much enjoyed your meals Thanku

Nothing but lads running the place - no females in sight. I thought it was very different.. But, we got served fast, didn't wait long and everything was really hot and fresh!

Good food, a bit busy due to lack of staff. Which was making the staff agitated
