Review Cha Cha's Chinese Restaurant - Gosford

The WORST Chinese food I’ve ever had! The mixed entree was full of grease and dry. The prawn toast was burnt and chewy. The honey prawns were tiny and awful! The batter was so thick and tasted like wet flour. The short soup wontons had next to no filling and only an inch of broth in the container! I waited over 2hrs for delivery and ended up throwing most of it out!

Save your money food arrived an hour and a half later then their Eta. Food was cold and honey chicken was soggy and the beef dish was chewy and the sweet and sour sauce spilt all thru the bag. $50.00 order was unediable. Stay well away from these guys.

Very disappointed. All batter, no chicken in the honey chicken, absolutely no honey flavour in sauce, chicken that was present was very stringy. Chow mein noodles stale and inedible, overall no flavour in all dishes. 1 star for good large spring roll.

Save yourself and go to the leagues clubs Chinese just up the street. Honey chicken is like a Chinese staple- I don't know what I tasted, the sauce came separately but i thought it was accidentally put in our bag, it was a mix between a bland lemon and combination sauce but dish soapy. The duck tasted dirty and greasy, the fried chicken for the honey was like the batter from a soggy fish and chip shop Mongolian lamb was just ok but I'd never order it again. The chicken and cashew had zero flavour and tasted like boiled frozen veggies with some cashews thrown in. The only good thing was the fried rice. $120 for the dogs to eat it.

Ordered food at 5.30 because we have young children. Were told it would be 20-25 mins. After 3 phone calls the food arrived almost 2 hours later. Satay was very unpleasant. Rainbow beef was ok. First time customers and wont order again.

I came in with my partner for dine in, we ordered the mixed entree, prawn toasts, combination short soup, salt and pepper prawns, fried pork, and special fried rice. Everything was recommendable, however the fried pork with plum sauce was a standout!! So soft and juicy, we both loved it. The broth in the short soup was also delicious and the prawns were large and juicy and cooked beautifully too. We have been here a few times in the past for eat in and takeaway and it is always great. Absolutely delicious food and very friendly staff too!

We frequently get delivery from Cha Chas and have never been disappointed! The food is always amazing and delivery is always very prompt. Tonight we decided to dine in and once again, service was efficient and the food was delicious! As a long standing customer I would not hesitate in recommending Cha chas for delivery or to dine in. We are NOT easily pleased, we are quite participle but it's all ticks for Cha chas. Very reasonably priced, delicious and great, friendly service. Highly recommended
