Review Dulwich Bakery Grange - Grange

The shop is quite small. Not a lot of options but it has Nice coffee and friendly staff. The packet of cookies are delicious. You must try them.

There are many Dulwich bakeries around Adelaide, only a few have I been to. This one didn’t impress me a lot. It’s a small shop, so not a lot of comfortable seating, and with the counter right in the middle of the store it was quite noisy and crowded. They had a big line up of people but seemed to have run out of a few of their bakery items.

Absolutely wonderful service, fantastic food and the best coffee I have ever had! My daughter loved her vanilla slice. Will definitely be coming back.

Dreadful pastries-stale. Pastry on small tarts dry and inedible. Expensive food considering quality of it. Coffee that would make you want to order tea instead. Don’t waste your money

I've gone here many times. About once or twice a fortnight. Staff are nice, food is good and it's clean.

Friendly , efficient staff , tasty pasties . Bit pricey but .

Stock availability is always a bit hit and miss. On Monday, at 11.40am they had no normal pies and only 1 pastie left. On the other hand they had a much better selection of prepackaged cookies and biscuits than other times I have been there.

The Dulwich bakery at Grange provides a place for people to grab a bite to eat on the way to the beach. The shop is very small with a few tables for people to sit in and eat. The food is like everything you can get at any of the Dulwich bakeries. We once got a loaf of bread here for convenience but it was quite expensive and nothing amazing. Worth a stop for a pie or pasty on a cold winter day if you want something to warm you up.

Dulwich makes the best coffee I have ever had!! Unfortunately no gluten free food options, but my parter loves the selection of pastries. :)

Nothing special, really. Dulwich Bakery offers a solid selection of pies, pasties, cake and breads. However, my croissant was on the dry side which is disappointing. My boyfriend friend a pasty which was ok. Coffee, in the other hand was pretty awful, very milky and weak. With so many fantastic places around, not sure why I'd return.

Went in this morning to grab a coffee and some breakfast, ended up walking out with just a coffee. That I paid extra for, cus it's a public holiday...?
Again, this place do not know how to prepare for a busy public holiday, with food running out.
Only two staff members on, which lead to long wait and and stressed staff.
I agree with the other reviewer, this place seems to be more about the money than the staff and customers!
They even put up a note today, complaint about paying their staff double time and even the amount they are getting paid an hour!
Just to justify putting the prices up for the day, I mean, don't worry about opening the bakery for the day if it's sucha hassle.
The owner feels greedy and careless.
This place has gone from great, to really disappointing! This place was the place to be on a Sunday morning with amazing staff and plenty of them. That would bend over backwards to get to know your name and provide and awesome customer service! Since the change in management, decor and staff, this place is sooooo disappointing.
Under staffed, no atmosphere as they have put in massive fridges. No funky music! I asked for a bacon and egg roll and it was 9:59am on Sunday morning and they told me the chef has gone home as they finish breakfast at 10am! What a joke!!! As a local, the staff make no effort to get to know you! I'm sure this place has lost a great clientele as everyone I now speak to in the area has lost their support for the business.
Seem to be about the cash and not the customer service!

I visited this bakery in the spur of the moment on my way home from a disappointing wedding on the beach. I was pleasantly served by a lovely employee who was enthusiastic, asking me how my day was. I ordered the bush ranger's pie, it was good. The atmosphere was ambient, I felt at peace. I was impressed with the customer service and would come here again.
