Review Grilled @ Grange - Grange

I haven't been here before as I live in the Northern area, but was meeting up with some old friends so gave it a try. I thought it was a delightful place. It has such a beautiful scenic view while you wait for your food and whilst you're eating. The staff were lovely, the food delicious and not expensive at all, it has easy parking and heaps of car park spaces as well. I would dearly love to eat here again if I have the energy to drive this far again. It is a place I would highly recommend

The maintenance is very good, but the quality of the members is not very high. The middle-aged member ignored my tee, and slowly crossed my hole, affecting my performance.

So came here for a wedding. The venue is very good and the size is great for a wedding. The food is great. The only thing I would suggest is that the lights be turn down a bit more as it was to bright for most of the night which didn't set the atmosphere for the venue. The golf surrounding the building is great to sit on the balcony and look out at. But definitely worth the visit

Restaurant: Definitely won't be going back - very poor experience! The menu was extremely limited, and two of us in our group faced the sun and had to ask them to pull the shade cloth blinds down but still had it in our eyes throughout the whole dinner experience. We had to keep shifting our position to avoid the sun. They brought out hard rolls that were hard to chew and no butter. We had to ask for butter and the meal was very average - glorified fish and chips for $33! You won't see us back here with this kind of service.

A bit dated in the restaurant but the food was very nice. The views of the golf course in the summer months when the days are longer would be awesome.

Good food in an unrushed environment. Great outlook over the golf course.

Don't get the fish.
Frozen and not cooked through! Eek!
Was very disappointing.
Hope the place picks up its game as its a nice place to come.

My date was lovely. That was the highlight. Now for the meals. Ok. Not super filling. Harissa spiced chicken was a little dry, as were the beans and chorizo. Squid in salt & Szchuan pepper (probably spelled wrong, but if so I spelled it like it was cooked ie wrong). To be fair, the spice flavour was quite nice. But the squid was a bit on the tough side, salad was pretty much dressed in olive oil. Service wasn't bad.

The golf course has a long history, it is where the professional golfer Greg Norman won his first tournament. It is ranked in Australia's top 100 golf courses. Near the east putting green is where the Grange Restaurant is located.
