Review Cheema Da Dhaba - Granville

I am giving you guys two star only for bread. Sorry to say but service is not good. The lady who is at the front is using phone. Hence, we repeated order twice. We ordered green salad however there were only few cabbage which wasn’t looking fresh. Only we found 2pieces of cucumber and little bit onion. To me, It wasn’t a green salad. And, we ordered falooda Icecream as well which was not worth. I don't know why you guys serve Falooda with straw if there is no any milk inside?

Used to love their cheema da cheese rolls. They were amazing, i used to order it once a week. But unfortunately their quality of food is not as good now. Got really bad tasting food from past 4 orders. If you go late nights than even their paneer is tastes like rubber. I stopped going there now. I am not sure hows their non veg food but veg is definitely no for me. 3 stars for the owner. He is welcoming and has great nature. Zero for the food. *gave 3 stars earlier but minus 2 for your response. I live in wentworthville, used to pick up because i loved the food. Can't come back to return. Also i read your replies on other reviews and those are pathetic. What other customers do i don't care, i am sharing my views and experience here. And i am sure from reading other reviews that many agree with me. Thanx.

Love the food,, Just love it. Authentic Pakistani and Punjabi food nan breads are the best,, no where else in Sydney. Dalmakni and Got are the best.😋

Love this place, great customer service and great food. Me and my co workers always go late night and staff are really happy to serve us. The naan bread is to die for.

I had my son birthday party on Saturday and had a great experience all staff was very helpful and kind. Everything i got what they promised me on booking and food was really awesome. Thanks guys for everything. Highly recommended

Pathetic experience.Ordered takeaway. Paneer tikka masala had chicken piece and as a result couldn’t eat the curry. Being vegetarian this is a horrific experience. Customers trust the restaurant and the restaurant needs to take utmost care to live up to the trust. Called up the restaurant to see what can be done and the response was for me to come back to the restaurant. When the mistake is on the restaurant side you dont ask customer to comeback to the restaurant for a compensation. Would expect you to go above and beyond to correct that mistake. Had a good impression before this experience. Will never recommend this restaurant after this horrific experience. Stop putting stupid replies as below mentioning that this review is from a fake id. I have listed the bad experience that happened to me in your restaurant.

I celebrated my daughter first birthday but new management is worse food was so bad management don’t know what they doing dinner time was 8pm we getting the dinner in party at 9pm. So if anyone planning to do family function think twice,

So talking about food taste wise okay quantity of food good enough, customer service was okay. So Overall not the best restaurant but yeah its okay visit.

Good food.. Variety of the food is excellent.. taste is also good.. Just a bit over priced.. the best part is the timings.. staff is also very courteous..

Food is good but staff is very very rude. They behave like they are doing biggest favour in the world. I mean if you a shit treatment, please visit the shop once or twice. Good luck. I hope you won't get humiliated like me. Thanks spending time to read this review.

There are bad restaurants, then are restaurant that are so bad that you feel like swearing at them even when you drive past them, Cheema da Dhaba is one of those restaurants. I went there by myself for a quick lunch as I was craving biriyani. I ordered my food at the counter which was at the entrance and asked the woman how long I might have to wait. She replied about 20 mins, which sounded very reasonable at the time for a chicken biriyani. I sat for about 30 mins no one showed up with anything, I asked the lady if I am getting my food anytime soon , the waitress lady said the chef was on his way( meaning the chef was not there at the time or order) and he will be there in 5 mins and asked if I'm ok with waiting. I was very unhappy but still said yes as i was starving. Another 30 mins went by the lady comes to me again and says'"sorry the chef is not coming today, so we can't cook your food, we can refund you now, really sorry." After 1 hour of waiting I got this from Cheema da Dhaba. Worst experience ever. I know indian/pakistani restaurants are not the best when it comes to customer service, but they took it to a new low.

Food: the first time we have been to an Indian/Pakistani restaurant!<br/>As a buffet, overall the food was average - the butter chicken was great, and very authentic!<br/>There is plenty of selection, from traditional through to a few western choices.<br/><br/>Service: was good - as a busy restaurant we understand that the demand for service and assistance is required. We though they did a job job :)

Hope you like sauce with your meat. As usual indian restaurant cutting corners for profitability. Ordered $55 worth of food (3 mains, rice for 2 and 2 garlic naan). Picked up, got home and all were in very shallow plastic take away containers. Counted the pieces of meat in my vindaloo... 5 tiny pieces. Usually when we get 3 dishes we have leftovers for anotger night but all we had was sauce. Dont bother, spend it at hilalaya.

I been to this Restuarant 10 time in the last month or 2 and it's just amazing the food the staff the atmosphere being from paki background it reminds me so much of Pakistan and the staff are just the best Sammy, Tahira , Ritchie There all amazing people and good to have a chat with they cheer u up when UR down and the food is just delicious and the head chef and owner. Cheema is an amazing guy he comes up to the customers and greets them himself which I really like. Definitely recommended !!
