My favourite food of kuroneko includes their chocolate cake, tunkustu ramen, tuna sushi roll and wagyu salad.
Craving ramen and found out there’s a ramen place at Sutherland. What a surprise!
We came at 2:30pm so the restaurant was empty and service very prompt. Ordered tonkotsu and spicy ramen. The noodles were well cooked and the broth is flavourful (a bit on the salty side for the spicy one). Egg wasnt soft boil unfortunately.
The tempura cheese was interesting. It’s delicious!
For my appetite, it is not enough food, but price is reasonable and there are plenty to choose apart from ramen.
Super happy to find out that there’s a ramen bar in Sutherland! Tried this place with my parents and I was quite impressed. Soup was flavourful with a little bit of heat (got the spicy ramen) and I really enjoyed the lotus roots chips and tempura I ordered. Would come back again.
I love love the broth, it was definitely one of those broth that was boiled for a long time, rich and flavourful!! Especially the seafood soup omg. Friendly staff, suitable portions, would go back ...
I’ve only had the spicy miso ramen but it was very delicious. Unfortunately would like it with a bit more spice but other then that I cannot fault!
I now crave it weekly!
Amazing food, lovely staff, great price! I love the chicken paitanmen, it always fills me up and is my go to feel good dish. The owners are lovely and the beer on tap is delicious.
After deciding to tey a different ramen place to our usual, Kuroneko was a good alternative. The decor had a very Japanese feel and the food was fantastic. As I enjoyed to eat my ramen very spicy I had added a lot of chilli powder and to seeing that one of the cooks saw and gave me two different types of sauces to put into my ramen. The only thing I'd have to say is that the wait for the food took a while and it was a little non satisfactory that you can see the kitcken with the food being cooked which makes you very hungry. Other than that, very enjoyable.
I absolutely love this place. The staff are friendly and fast, the food is fresh and delicious, and the prices mean it’s a viable midweek dinner option. The chicken karage is a definite highlight.
Who would've thought there would be a ramen joint in the Sutherland Shire? :O Anyhow, passed by the area and decided to stop by for lunch. Ordered the tonkotsu ramen and yeah it was nice ! The soup was on the thin side contrary to some thicker bases you'd get in the city but still was decent in flavour. Wasn't a big fan of the pork though, it was really... porky. Noodles were eggy, a bit on the softer side but the egg was cooked well so that's always a bonus. Overall an average but decent bowl of ramen :) Service was friendly and restaurant environment was also pretty clean.
Local favourite of mine, amazing food always busy great ambience excellent value and tasty Kirin beer on tap. Best ramen you will get this side of the bridge
This little restaurant took me completely by surprise - the food here is delicious! My favourites are the Tonkotsu spicy ramen and the spicy karaage chicken wings. It is a small venue so you must book to secure a table inside on Friday and Saturday nights, but they do take away as well.
A little bit of wait for food. There was a keto friendly option for ramen using shirataki noodles. The spicy ramen did actually pack a little bit of a punch! Karaage and tempura cheddar were both okay.
Very good recommendation from a local to The Shire. Dining solo, did only the Tonkotsu Ramen and a karaage chicken side. Broth was hearty and full of flavour. Egg was soft and the pork neck was tender. The karaage was crunchy and served with Kewpie. Quick service, easy parking and friendly staff!
We ordered pork gyoza, Tonkatsu Ramen, some sushi and chicken Karage. Everything was really good, although it took a while to get our food. It was also super packed so it is understandable. Staff is also super friendly.
Late lunch, this place is sort after, ordered ramyun with dumplings, gyoza and har how,the food was good, better to make a reservation before going in, rather than counting flowers luck 🤞 wonderful atmosphere, every staff followed COVID safe . Would definitely recommend and go back again
Seriously yummy food and really lovely, welcoming staff. Still working through the menu but top faves atm are the tonkotsu ramen, wagyu salad and crispy brussel sprout salad. It was busy but the wait wasn't long at all. So gooood, thank you!
Good menu, not trying to impress, but to serve an excellent Japanese meal. Beers on tap and true to the flavours :)
Thoroughly enjoyed the food at Kuroneko Ramen and can't wait to return. The pork belly domburi was the pick of the lot, tender, geneourous serve of melt in your mouth Pork belly but I forgot to take a pic. Prawn and Chicken ramen soup had amazing prawn stock flavour. Katsu domburi was crisp, saucy and enjoyable with shredded salad. Karage Chicken had been nicely marinated with a lovely hint of ginger. So glad we stumbled upon this well priced delicious gem of a feed.
