It may look like your average neighborhood shawarma joint, but Mr Shawarma is anything but!
I wandered in with my family on a Friday night, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of fresh cooked shawarma. The restaurant was filling up quickly (it was almost 7:00 pm) but we managed to snag a table. Food was beyond enjoyable and the service was amazing. Rob the floor manager made sure everyone was happy with their meal.

This an absolute best shawerma. Just melts in my mouth. Loved every bite of it. The taste, presentation, service and ambiance was excellent. I never had such yummy shawerma in Middle East. My kids loved the kafta and Tawok. I just can’t wait to go back again. Thanks all.

Just left and it was our first time there, the reception was welcoming and professional, the staff were respectful and attentive! One of the wait staff asked if we’d like his recommendations as it was our first visit hubby agreed and a good choice it was! We shared a shawarma mixed plate and hubby had meat sambusa and I had kebbe nayeh which I haven’t had in years it was beautiful! We’ll definitely we going back as it’s close to home and affordable and a great experience
The best shawarma i have tried so far in Australia brings back memories from Jordan as the taste is similar but dryer which I don’t mind because I hate the fat! And the Arabic ice cream � yum !

Mr Shawarma is located in Greenacre and when you step inside you feel you are transported to the Middle East, the aroma of fresh food, the décor and the friendly hospitality. This place was busy with people coming in and out during the course of my meal. As someone who loves Arabian food I was immediately drawn to the shawarma mixed plate and the kibbeh.
The meats of the shawarma mixed plate were wrapped nicely in wraps, making it easier to dip in the accompanying hommos, baba ghanouj and garlic sauce. Corn was fresh as were the pickles with a nice acidic touch. The meats here were really delicious; they are shaved off rotisserie like any genuine Arabian restaurant. The kibbeh was crisp on the outside and succulent on the inside, full of flavour with fresh ingredients.
Finished with a nice refreshing lemon and mint crush.

These dishes came right out of the grill so hot and fresh with the smell tempting me to eat the food straight away instead of taking photos!
A pleasurable moment was when I ate the kofta meat (part of the BBQ mixed plate) dipped in heavenly garlic sauce and then assembling it with tangy tabouli wrapping these condiments in a piece of Lebanese bread.
Plates came with garlic sauce, baba ghanouj & hommous. The hommous was so smooth, flavourful with some smokiness, one of the best I've had.
But what truly blew my mind was the Arabi Plate which consisted of mini rolls of lamb and chicken and let me tell you. One of the best things that has entered my mouth! The meat inside the rolls were so juicy and the wrap seemed partially fried which meant it was crispy outside. DARN. I WILL BE COMING BACK!!

Halal. Ordered the chicken wrap and it was delicious. Some chilli sauce or tomato sauce would have made it more tasty. Next time will ask for some. Otherwise the place was nice, clean and the waitress was very helpful. Will definitely go back.
This place has a very clean and comfortable feel to it, Ive only tried two of their wraps so far (falafel and the chip wrap) which are both delicious and full of flavour! My parents said the lamb shawarma was really yummy too! The staff are polite and attentive, it is definetly a place that I will be recommending to others :)

For starters Shawarma is one of the most popular Arabian dish, I have a very close connection with Arabian food since I have been fortunate to enjoy a wide varieties of there delicacies from early on in my life. I have been hooked for life to this very thing, therefore I am always on the lookout for great places that offers this range.
I have been to this place a few times now, and this has been one of those long pending review that I have been wanting to pen down. So without wasting any of your time I will get straight to point here.
They have a wide variety of selection which all goes back to the shawarma stick, what I mean by that is basically every item on menu is served from thin finely cut meat or chicken that comes from the vertical rotisserie used to prepare shawarma, I have to say they are one of the best in there game, they live upto there name.
I would highly recommend the Arabi shawarma plate as it covers the shawarma in different meats and comes with side dips baba ganouj & hommous with chips. Other meat and chicken shawarma plates gives you just the meat with the bread which I didn’t find them to be that great.
They don’t have much variety apart from shawarma but that’s how they promote themselves anyways so that makes sense. The ambience Is good with decent staff, no complaints at all. One thing worth mentioning though is food portions are not as generous and prices are at a high end comparatively.
If you want to eat an authentic shawarma this is your place. If you are expecting this to be full of options from Arabian cuisine then give this a miss as simple as that.

Personal opinion:
The chicken was more than perfect since they use only chicken breasts I guess with not much fat at all. However, I personally prefer lamb shawarma overall, but they have the best lamb shawarma I’ve ever tried in Sydney soft, tinder, and little bet juicy.

Absolutely genuine Mediterranean taste! if you happen to have exposure to shawarma in Gulf states like me.. You will love it… real meat no nasty stuff so don’t compare prices with cheap kebab that you get elsewhere!
Authentic middle eastern food. The quality of food is high, the portion is generous, and cosy is very affordable. I visited the place with some of my friends and we ordered a wide range of foods and drinks. An absolute pleasure. Staff are highly attentive and the place is very clean and cosy. Highly recommended.
Great variety. Food was amazing, best was chili garlic lemon chicken.
Found a new place to get my Shawarma cravings fulfilled. Food was nice . The dips were fresh(Toum was fluffy as cloud).Ordered the chickens shawarma plate and Ayran(yogurt drink). Left satisfied. May be will come again to try more items on thr Menu
Ample street parking and the restaurant has a lot of tables,so no stress of wait times and it is open till 10pm
Really appreciate how the staff went beyond to accommodate for my 1yr old as food options are slim for babies without many teeth and they were considerate where they sat us so it wasn't too cold for my son.
Food was quite good aswell. We had the BBQ plate and the and sharwarma plate and both were nice, I would definitely come back.
