Food was amazing as well as the staff. The place is always packed and I know why! Can’t wait to come in again.
We ordered takeaway from this Greek restaurant that has been around for quite awhile now. Everything was packaged thoughtfully and it was a real pleasure to be able to eat in the comfort of our home.
We had the mixed dips plate - this consisted of tzatziki, tarama and eggplant dips with pickled vegetables, oven roasted peppers and homemade bread. The dips were delicious and I could have eaten them by the spoonful!
We also had the BBQ meat plate and the BBQ seafood plate. The octopus was tender and seasoned perfectly. It went well with the rice pilaf. The accompanying salad was fresh and helped cut through some of the richness of the meats.
All in all, a nice experience!
We celebrated my dads birthday here not too long ago and as regular customers, we were happy yet again with our experience. There is truly nothing I can fault about this place, although I do think this underrated joint could do with a bit more sprucing to attract more customers- as it really does deserve more recognition.
We got the banquet for 5, to start we got warm pita bread with a trio of dips (taramasalata, olive, tzaziki) with pickled vegetables & saganaki. For our main course we got lamb, salad, fish and rice, and for dessert we got a range of delicious sweets like Turkish delight, baklava & galaktoboureko 🤩

Food was amazing! Could not fault one thing! Seeiously the best grilled octopus & calamari I have ever had... SO TENDER! the Gyro meat was so juciy, flavoursome and delicious!
Ha! Looks like this place has more Greek dishes than other Greek restaurants downtown. Very good the dalmades, and omg amazing spanakopita! The haloumi cheese was good too. So go with the starters! The Mussaka was fine too, the souvlaki as well. Service was good. Overall, a good surprise for a meal, definitely recommended. Ambiance is nothing fancy, let’s put feet on the ground. But food is alright so go for it.
Great atmosphere and superstar staff to boot. We got the banquet and not only were they completely accommodating to me being the only vegetarian but we ate like gods at a spectacular price. Can not recommend enough

Eos is a busy and very noisy Greek restaurant. The noise is mostly due to the cement flood and walls that lack any noise abatement. The food is good, the service terrific, and the prices reasonable. Just don't expect to have a quiet conversation.
The low score is mostly because of the noise favor.
Fantastic food great staff and friendly service a definite must try of authentic greek food fresh fish delivered daily and great specials we had on friday night and a few laughs with the owner and workers
Had a function on the Sunday. Service and food were both incredible. The meat was tender and the seafood very fresh. We were served banquets with the usual Greek entrees.
Couldn't be happier how things went for such a. Special event that we had on.

Went on a Saturday without a booking and they managed to squeeze us in. Service was exceptional. Loved the food, especially the calamari and lamb. Well priced and very authentic cooking. Will definitely be back.

Loved it, good sized portions and very tasty food. Been there twice now and have sampled the prawns and the calamari . Friends had the meat platter and other meat dishes and thoroughly enjoyed them.

Came here a few weeks ago. This place packs out! We were initially seated at a tiny table right near the kitchen and bar and on the edge of the main walkway through to both. It was impossible to talk to my boyfriend and our elbows were being knocked every time someone walked past us. The waitress sensed that we weren't happy where we were and offered a table that became available to us first before seating other guests - we were very thankful!
Food was great, but the portions are enormous! I had the mixed skewers and although the lamb was a little chewy, it was still lovely. It comes with a huge salad so it doesn't feel like an overly heavy meal.
Service throughout the night was wonderful, our waitress checked up on us often and cleared our plates away quickly.
I'll definitely be back again!
Dined here tonight, food was fantastic, fresh, and served quickly, by far the best Greek cuisine I've had for a long time.
Staff were also very attentive and accommodating, they were really busy but still managed to give excellent service

Very nice. Nice food and great service. One suggestion guys: perhaps stay clear of the canned dolmathes. They taste better homemade. Other than that, you are doing great.
I have eaten here a number of times and gave never had a bad meal. The food is always delicious. The staff are friendly and efficient. We had a lovely dinner last night, finished off with a complimentary port. The deluxe banquet is amazing!!! My only complaint is the corkage is a bit high at $8 per bottle if, like me, you take your own wine but don't always drink much of it.
Nice little restaurant has good food and good options for a gluten free/vegetarian. One let down was that the gluten free bread that came with our dips was still partly frozen and therefore was obviously not fresh. Otherwise the meal was lovely.
Went to Eos to celebrate my parents anniversary. The food was fantastic. We ordered the dips platter (fresh bread and vibrant coloured dips) and my personal favourite - saganaki! #yum Our mains were meat and seafood platters. The were amazing too - very juicy meat may I add. The chips were really nice too. All in all, we couldn't even make dessert because we ate everything. They kindly offered complimentary port at the end which we had to decline because we were so full, it is was a nice gesture. Our waitress was well versed about the specials and served us so well. Great, friendly service and they were accommodating to any changes we wanted to make to our dishes too.
A nice local Greek restaurant. Went to Eos Greek Tavern for a birthday with a large group & the service was great. Food all came out together & was nice but nothing to special. Good for a local bite but definitely better Greek restaurants available if you are willing to travel. Generous portions.

My partner and I shared our first date at Eos over 10 years ago.. We have watched the place flourish into the wonderful environment it is today, we are always treated with the respect that comes from being a loyal repeat customer, the food is always exceptional, the staff always accomodating, the prices may be a little high, but in saying that you get what you pay for, the quality of Eos is amongst the best Greek cuisine we have eaten! I'm sure that for as long as Eos is open and serving, we will continue to return!

Fantastic place for a celebration. We just celebrated my daughter's 21st birthday at Eos and we couldn't have chosen a better venue. The food was fantastic, very fresh and tasty and so much of it! The service was exceptional - the owner, the chefs and the wait staff were all wonderful and bent over backwards to make sure our night was perfect. They presented the cake then took it away to cut it up and serve it. I barely had to lift a finger other than to eat and drink all night. Eos has always been a favourite with us and will remain that way. We really can't thank them enough!!
Ultimate dining experience!. Thank you to the staff at Eos for making our night so memorable. The food was spectacular as too was your complimentary desert to help us celebrate.

Superb food & great service!. We've dined here a few times however it gets better each time. The meals are very tasteful & the service is lovely. You cannot go past the tasting plate as an entree which gives you various options & the specials board always has great meals to choose from such as moroccan chicken & mango Morton bay bug salad.

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch at our favorite Greek restaurant....Eos Greek Tavern! They have a new menu but have kept some of their favorite existing dishes... A great range of starters such as kataifi prawns & traditional Cypriot keftedes, very yummy!! Compliments to the chef Jim the owner Jim!! Great service as always!!

This is my favorite Greek restaurant in Melbourne!!! I love the food, the service & the staff are all friendly. My favorite dish is the 'katsikaki kleftiko' and if I decide to order anything else, I'm never disappointed.
BEST GREEK FOOD IN MELBOURNE EVER!!. The service , staff and food are second to none at Eos. There is not one dish you could not go wrong with on their menu!
I have brought and recommended many friends and family over the years to Eos and they have returned time and time again.
I would recommend Eos Greek Tavern to anyone who wishes to enjoy great food and a great atmosphere. I look forward to booking my next birthday there this year!
After tonight's feast would definitely be going again, awesome atmosphere great local location food was delishhhh! Came out very quick didn't have to wait more than 15 mins, desert was yummy! And loved the complimentary port to put the cherry on the cake! Service was extremely good waitresses were super friendly! The service would of been a big tick on the list everywhere else I've gone there is always an issue recommend to go for a group dinner and enjoy the Devine banquets they have couldn't finish it but took a doggy bag home, eos tavern I'll be visiting very soon! Opa :)
Ray Bellette. Last Saturday evening we ate at Eos and would to give it a full marks. The service was excellent , we started with dips, followed by the fish of the day (fresh grilled Baramundi) - again it was excellent. I would highly recommend Eos. Just be aware it is quite noisy.

Great food but noisy!. A group of 10 of us enjoyed a lovely meal on a Friday night 5 weeks ago. Each family group ordered separately and everyone enjoyed their meal. My family of 4 ordered the mixed dips plate for entree. It was delicious & came with a lovely soft fresh baked loaf. My only complaint was - we needed half a loaf more to finish the dips, but were obliged to order & pay for a whole one (as they don't serve just half!), and I think extra bread should be free!
For mains we shared a meat platter, a bbq seafood platter & a mousaka between 3 people.( Did not find the lamb stringy at all, like some other reviewers did.) Fortunately they let us take home what we could not finish in a takeaway container, to enjoy next day! One person had a chicken dish from the specials board.
We shared a mixed sweets platter between us and it was a great way to taste a bit of 3 types of sweets.
The meals were generous portions & tasty and the total including drinks averaged to around $32 pp.
The place is a bit noisy, with some large groups dining, but a friendly place with good service.
Would definitely go again!
Far better than film we saw. I came with my brother and his partner prior to seeing Prometheus and I only wish the film had been half as good as the food.
We started with the Mixed Dip plate, it combined interesting morsels of great taste.
I had the BBQ Florinian Chicken, several fair sized pieces of marinated chicken served on a toasted slab of rye topped and surrounded with roasted and fresh vegetables and fetta. It was plentiful and hot and tasty.
Need more greek restaurants in this area. The go-to place when i want greek food and cannot be bothered driving to the city for stalactites

From greensborough and proud of it. We have dined here numerous times over the last 7 years. I enjoy trying new dishes, and as I have tried nearly all the items on the menu as well as from the specials board, I know that the food at Eos is delicious. Eos has a Modern Medditerrenean menu, so it's fresh and exciting. I'm proud to support a great local business.
Some good, some bad. Well i have eaten at Eos twice and both times, the food has been fresh and well cooked.
The calamari and the lamb platters we had were good, and im pretty fussy with lamb.
The service however can be up and down - one lady flounces around like she really hates her job, but some other waitresses are friendly.
Weekend dinner service is very busy, loud and you wouldnt go there for a romantic dinner!
I like it there, but can understand why others dont. Go and decide for yourself!

Excellent. Great food, very reasonable prices, good and cheery service, on a Saturday night. If there is any down side, it is busy and noisy, for a reason. EOS is high recommended from starters to sweets. BYOB wine, and a fairly priced basic wine selection on menu. We had octopus, gyros platter, a veal dish, greek salad, and wonderful choc/strawberry sweet with cointreau.

Yum!. We've eaten at Eos a lot over the years, staff are great, food is always fresh and well priced and its close to home which is a bonus. Definately recommend the banquet, so much food and you get to try a bit of everything.
