Excellent pizza and pasta. Arguably our favourite pizza in the area. Beautiful thin and crispy base, fresh ingredients and incredible flavour. Simplicity is key. Prices are reasonable. Staff are all very friendly always happy to serve with a smile!
We chose the Quattro Stagioni wood fired pizza, the Pollo Fungi pene and our children had the plain pancake. The food was tasty and fresh. Very friendly and prompt service. We enjoyed the ambience and dined in. For a Friday lunch the place was pretty busy, and I can see why. A nice, decently priced lunch.
We love love love this place and have been going for years, weather we get take away or dine in the service and food is aways very good.
The only thing that you could do is please deliver (maybe get onto menulog or uber eats) and open for dinner on a Sunday.
Always come here for dinner or a Sunday brunch and always manage to fit us in. Some of the best food and great friendly staff. Have never left us disappointed.

Have dined at the Clay Oven quite a few times as a local. We were there last on a Tuesday night and the place was packed. Wood fired pizzas are great, with a special mention for the garlic and cheese focaccia. I ordered the calamari main which was delicious. Other diners at our table had the lasagne, pollo funghi pasta and the spaghetti bolognese. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals.
Just a quick review, as it was a quick visit. Tucked away up an unassuming side street off St Helena Road, you'll find this little suburban gem doing food fired pizza, house made pasta (including lovely vegetarian lasagne) and a few good desserts. If you want to dine in, book early. They're a popular bunch.
In a little group of shops in Greensborough your expectations are low.
It impressed us that the pizzas can be made any time after 11 daily.
Our meals included the big breakfast. Chicken karmas and the oven baked fish. All were good solid meals and the coffee was ok

Had 'Able's Prawns' here again last night and again, really enjoyed it. My friend had Salt and Pepper Calamari which was nice and tender but not spicy and salty enough. Service was good and didn't have to wait long for our meals. Prices reasonable. Will be back again.
Seriously good coffee, great hidden gem of a cafe with delicious food for breakfast, lunch or dinner in a relaxed environment, family friendly with the best calamari.
Love coming here for coffee, wine anything!!! I just find that every time I go someone is always crashing cups and saucers, very loud, very difficult to have a conversation . Cheers!!

The food was delicious, it came out quickly and was very well portioned.
The customer service was great, they change your water bottle without asking, ask how you are going!

Finally went to this little gem with my parents for a quick coffee. Their chai latte was just the right amount of sweet and spicy, and although I didn't have anything to eat, the smell coming from The oven was enough to convince me to return.

Best pizza base and topping. Will not be disappointed. Service good, pricing fair, beers cold, great selection of sweets and will be back again.
I come here when I crave a wood fire pizza that's close by. Nice thin base pizzas that have great flavour. I recommend booking on weekends as there is limited seating and it gets quite busy!
A small bustling outer suburban pasta/pizza joint serving terrific inexpensive food and terrific cakes for desserts. If you're a local it should be on your wish list
I think the prosciutto pizza was a wrong selection for me but overall the pizza had a nice crispy base for me there wasn't enough pizza sauce. They had a really vast menu to look over. Breakfast until 5:30 is a huge win in my books! Wide variety of deserts to choose from. Clay oven has friendly welcoming staff.
I rate this place although I thought I had made the wrong choice in pizza!!
Consistently good service. We've been here twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast. We were incredibly satisfied with both dishes and love the number of choices we had considering the small restaurant. Looking forward to going back here for some more pizza!

Always had a nice meal and reasonable service. It's very small so when busy, service can be quite lengthy. But it's a great little place in greensborough.
Great food, atomasphere and service. This place will definitely become a regular! Been twice, lunch was great and breakfast too! Went with two of my kids and was even asked if I needed my baby held while I cut my food. And close to home makes it even better!
Fantastic Cafe. My husband & i have been to this cafe on a number of occasions since it opened. We have been very impressed each time we visit and always recommend it highly to our friends. They have a great Menu and we have never had a bad experience. The staff are really great with s special mention of Emily who goes out of her way to help with any special requests we may have.
So good!. A horrible place, never go there !!!! I am only saying that so you all don't book it out and we cant get a table :)
Great food and a relaxed atmosphere all at a cheap price, cant ask for more than that. It is so good to have a place like this within walking distance.

Nice Pizza. Third time I've been here and I think they have very nice pizza. There's a few unique options, like the avo and prawn pizza, which are a nice change to the standard pizza toppings. The base is a little dry sometimes & prices are expensive but overall I would recommend it to anyone in the area wanting a good pizza.
Just what the neighbourhood needed. A quality cafe with great food and coffee together with warm & friendly service. Keeping it simple and doing it well. Open all day most days. Tried the delicious woodfire pizza, coffee and cake ... Nice! I'll be back.
Great place!!!. Absolutely delicious. I think that patrick, the man who wrote the negative review went to the wrong restaurant, because everything there is absolutely fresh. I will suggest him not to hide himself behind social media and go and talk with the owner if has any suggestions or complaints. I am saying this because I have noticed that he usually writes negatives reviews about all the restaurants. Good luck to all the staff and keep up the good work : )
A local gem in Greensborough. Great woodfired pizzas and sensational calamari. Friendly staff, good service, and good value. . Will definitely be back! They have apparently only just opened but this is a real winner for the locals. Not big, so I would book for the evening.
Excellent Pizzas. Thin bases, full of flavour, not too many toppings and reasonably priced. Best pizzas in the area.
